Thanks for sharing! I love how to dance, just don't know how lol but I try. I used to be able to but now that I'm in my 40's & pretty much gave up on dancing. (I haven't danced in the last 20 some years) I have no balance, its hard for me to comprehend things now. Thanks for explaining & showing us. Greatly appreciate it!! 💌💕💕
Im 67 and have been doind loose and free figure 8's exercise for 6 months . I can now lift my hands over my head, and almost touch the floor. I can now bend over which is great for putting socks on. I'm approximately 50 lbs overweight and i do your exercises every day plus i walk a mile every day. Not bad for someone who has copd, but essential for someone who has copd. I can bounce a quarter off my stomach now, but I'm still working on the weight. Thank you for showing me what i can do, and making it fun enough to keep it up
Love this video. This is what I did in my belly dancing class, yeats ago. I am now 78 with COPD and pelvic floor problems. These exercises are perfect for me. I don't get breathless and they will give me back control of my body. They feel sexy too, something I'd forgotten. Thank you
I know you didn't ask but I just wanted to suggest Zhan Zhuang, it's a standing exercise and has been tested and found agreeable to people with COPD. I just figured options are good.
Margaret try to find a functional medicine dr who will give you high dose intravenous vitamin C therapy for your COPD. It’ll completely eliminate it. God bless you
I am 65 years old. Tried it out and it’s fantastic. Have years in the gym but due to corona I don’t go and this perfect for the core. By the way your teaching method is perfect. Greetings from Germany. 😊😊👍🏼🙏🏽
Also from Germany, 60yrs, before C restrictions Latin Ballroom. I MISSED these figure 8s! I was always wondering, what it is, that makes me so happy, when am doing these "8". Do you know, why? Is there some science behind it😉
Never let this Corona Plandemic trouble your life as it is both preventable as well as treatable, ask your doctor to give you Ivermectin and you are free of this global terrorism.
I have not exercised in years. At 50, I am raising my 3 boys and I am so stiff and out of shape. I joined a prayer movement that involves exercise and asked me to exercise 1 hour a day. I found this workout and love it! It felt so good to move even for a little, and I plan to continue with this every day to get going in the morning. Thank you so much!
You are awesome, depression and pain had me become sedentary and immovable but you inspired me to move with you. You made me shine brighter. Thank you so much. Hugs. 🥹
Absolutely love, love, love this video! Helpful for sooo many things. Great for all the muscles/joints of the pelvic basin, helpful for prolapse, relieves constipation, eases inner thigh/lower back thightness. Great to do these movements first thing in morning. Thank you Dr. Grogan for creating this exercise!
First, I want to apologize for taking so long to write this. I want to thank you for this video. It has literally changed my life! In Sept of 2020 I worked with a functional medicine nutritionist and lost 80 pounds in 6 months at the age of 59-1/ 2. I decided that I needed to exercise to keep the weight off and get even more healthy (I have been a walker for years: average 5 miles a day). I found your video in December of 2020. I have worked out to your video 6 days a week since then (minus a few weeks of traveling in the past 3 years). I also combine that with light weights and do an arm routine, along with 15 minutes on a rower that I bought in November 2021. Again, THANK YOU!
No need to apologize at all! Thank you for sharing your journey with me. It's truly heartwarming to hear how the video has positively impacted your life. Losing 80 pounds and committing to a healthy lifestyle is an incredible achievement, and your dedication to regular exercise is inspiring. Combining the exercises from the video with your walking, arm routine, and rowing shows your commitment to overall well-being. Remember, your consistent effort and determination are key factors driving your success. Your progress and enthusiasm serve as a reminder of the incredible changes that can happen when we make our health a priority. Keep up the amazing work. Your story is a testament to the power of consistent effort and positive choices. Thank you for sharing, and keep shining on your journey! 🌟
Dr. Bri, this was such a fun exercise! I didn't think I'd be sweating and feeling it but I was wrong! I loved it. Please post more videos like this. Thank you so much
Absolutley love, love, love this video! These movements help with soooo many things! Great for entire muscle/ joints of pelvic basin, helps with prolapse, constipation, and inner thigh/lower back muscles. Great way to start the morning. Do this video almost every day! Thank you, Dr Grogan for creating these moves!
So happy that these belly dancing moves are becoming mainstream! People don't realise just how good it is for them. Not just for fitness but for energy, your organs, fertility, the brain... it is much more than just a cardio workout.
I just found this routine and did it for the first time today (8/27/20) and 14 minutes FLEW by! This is what I have been needing. I'm 78 and had 2 hip replacements in the last 10 months, and I have been struggling to get back mobility, flexibility, strength and to reduce pain in my legs. I think this will help relax and strengthen muscles around my hip area as well as core. Before surgeries I think I'd gone to carrying weight, due to bad hip joints, with my adductor muscles (inner thigh) and they just won't let go, with result groin pain and low back tightness. I've been doing low impact aerobics, but I think that's tended to tighten inner thigh muscles that need loosening, even while doing a good job of strengthening other muscles, like quads. I'll also get back to dancing sooner with this. Thank you.!!
Hi... I would just like to say thank you... I have inoperable hip issues, walking distances and standing are difficult for me. I have seen quite a bit of figure 8 info lately and thought it looked wonderful but I thought it would be out for me... but I gave your 15 min workout a try ... I'm amazed... after only doing it for 4 days I have more flexibility and slight easy of walking discomfort... I'm in.. the pain of the last decade has seen my fitness whittle away... I will continue to do your 15 min workout until I feel ready to move to the next level... thank you .. I'm 63
I love that you go slow. I'm recovering from an accident and so many videos seem to be made for professional dancers. So thank you for helping beginners.
I am so glad that this one has helped you!! Please take care during your recovery! I'm sorry that you were in an accident! I hope you can find continued support with my videos!
I loved this. First workout 6 months after giving birth and I feel great. I'm quite stiff to start with but feeling amazing already. Thank you. I can't wait to do it tomorrow again.
Good morning..I sow the advert on Facebook and try it..I'm so impressed with it. I'm struggling with weight loss and I'm sure that this exercise will benefit me from losing weight and keep me fit because I love dancing..thanks again. I'm from Cape Town South Africa
THANK YOU! This morning, I woke up with the same 'locked' hip I've had for over 2, almost 3 decades ... I decided to try a morning movement and found your workout. So grateful. It was fun, you have a wonderful, welcoming voice and demeanor and I completed it! Look forward to more.
Thank you Dr Bri, this is a really fun and great workout. Although I'm not as flexible as you around the waist I do try and I have started to notice the difference. I've been doing the exercises basically daily for about 3 weeks now. I can't thank you enough!
I love this, I’ve been doing this everyday for about 2 weeks....I’ve always been a ridged mover and this has really helped my body to relax into the moves.
I weigh 305 lbs I started your video I did 2 and I could feel it in my legs I need to practice but it was fun learning the steps and making that first step with you!!!
Thank you so much! I have coccyx issues from pregnancy and because of a lot of stress I gained way too much weight. Because of the literal pain in the... lets say lower back... I wasnt able to do a more demanding sport but with this little workout and moving this part of my body I feel like I can get back into shape and use it as a good start for my journey. I also immediately felt less pain :)
Just did this and it was great fun - your book arrived today too and I'm looking forward to reading it later. So glad I found your channel - it's really helping me to feel positive at a time when I would otherwise be feeling rubbish at having to give my beloved running up - Thank you!

I had 4 bulging discs in my low back. I am practicing this exercise gently. I have noted that my pain is decreasing and also my mobility in my waist is getting better. I do not have to use my abdominal as much as before. I will continue doing this because I am feeling the results. Thank you for this great video! Blessings!
I sincerely thank you for taking time to do this video and showing how to do the moves. I turned 60 years old on 6/20 and made a commitment to myself to get as close to size 10 as possible. Grateful Liz King
This was so much fun! 😄 I enjoyed learning how to move my hips , I got a work out , and I feel so much better after doing this ! Thank you 🙂 that 14 minutes flew by ❣️
Thank you so much , this is exactly what I was looking for as a quick exercise that doesn't need a lot of space and that I can do anytime of the day, even in my office space.
The perfect gentle workout to get me back in shape after prolapse surgery. I've done it every day for a week and am thinking of doing it twice a day next week. Thanks Bri!
Omg! I have H-EDS so workouts are often out of the question. Hilariously enough, however, the thing that helps my condition the most is working out. I just found your channel today and have already done two of your videos with very LITTLE pain!! Thank you so, so much, this is exactly what I've been searching for! ♥️♥️♥️
Also heds and totally uncoordinated. My hips popped with every swing and I feel like I was going in the wrong direction most of it 😂 will try again tomorrow
Thank you for this video,, I am going to start this,,, I realy do struggle around my stomach,,, I hate doing sit up and any floor exercises so this is, perfect
I've tried 2 of your workouts love them, thanks for thw great workouts so far ,,trying to move more and more each day ,yesterday did the figure 8 ,, and also the dance one also ,thanks for the workouts and explaining so well 💪👍❤❤
I found this yesterday and tried it, okay so I didn't finish as I had to shower and start work, Lock-down work May 20, but girl by lunchtime my side abs were burning wow. I'm so continuing with this. You made it so easy and loved the way you broke it all down!! 😊
Oh how my soul is singing and alive💖💖💖 Loved this! Used it as a finisher to my hybrid workout and I simply let loose ☺️Felt ahhhhhmazing💗 Thank you for always finding ways to help this uncomfortable peri menopausal body feel happy! Golly that is such a gift these days✨
Kelly Pantaleoni - thank you for this 🙌🏼 I had so much fun doing it after my other workout. Not only did I love the movements but the stretching made my hips feel aaaahhhhh 😌
I just did this again tonight and looked so forward to it and it goes by so fast!!! THANK YOU SO Much I will probably type a post each time I do it because I love it so much!! LOL
This was the first hip circle video that I tried when I discovered Femfusion last year. I enjoy & appreciate all that each contributing instructor has to offer but this video remains my go-to favorite when I need a good hip routine. I think that your teaching method is A+. Are you a school teacher? You instructions are clear & easy to follow and I like that you respect your audiences' ability to recognize their own limits & go at their own pace. "Pay attention to your knees!" I was unable to work out for awhile so I knew where to start 😊 I'm going slow, half your speed but that's the best way of jumping back in, right? So ty for your expertise. Much appreciated 🐾
Hi, I've just come across your workout while I was looking for something that didn't make me jump up and down (I have a bad hip and knees that don't like the pressure of running etc) I've just completed this workout and apart from my knees clicking when I bent them I did ok. Need to improve on my co ordination but I really enjoyed it and I'm hitting subscribe so I can do more
Love it! ❤️ perfect beginner/re-starter into exercising/moving! I’ve been stale for a few years, re-gained weight, feeling awful.... and here you ARE with these wonderful moves! 💖 Thank you! 💖
5weeks PO from a hysterectomy and using this as my gentle first workout. I'm someone who is used to having a very tight core from dance, PiYo and weight lifting, but fibroids made my life hell and destroyed my core. It felt really good to incorporate familiar moves into a light exercise so I don't overdo it and hurt myself. Thank you Bri!!!
omg you are absolutely fantastic.i loved your workout.i was able to do it inspite of the fact that my stomach is too big.hope to achieve something following you.thank you God bless you
Just started and I’ll see how it goes. Did it twice today so far. I really like how this feels. I have a gut and I’m trying to get rid of it. Thanks for sharing these videos. I’ll be checking your other ones out as well. I really like this one though. You don’t have to go at it real hard at first but later once I start to lose the gut, I’m sure I’ll be able to put more into it. I also have fibromyalgia in my hips so I’ll see tomorrow when I get up how it feels for me. I’m hoping I’ll be back! Again, thanks for sharing these videos. ❤️🥰
I have two prolapsed discs, whenever I feel tightness in my lower back or any back pain, I follow the exercises in this video and it relieves me of the pain. Thankyou Dr Bri.
OMG this was fantastic! Been wanting to do the figure 8 workout for a long time (ads popping up on fb...) so this is a great intro to the moves! Quite tough but so fun! Saved and on repeat during the lockdown ;-)

This seems like it would really help new moms get their their stomach muscles back. I’m loving it!
Wooh that's a Wonderful Work out so amazing .Keep it Up 😀👍👍
This was so much fun. But boy I wish I could do it as smoothly as Dr Bri. does it. I guess I need to do more of this. Loosey goosey, I love it.
This was great! Thank you! I love how you put the instructions on the screen so I can listen to a podcast while working out!
Glad it was helpful!
I just did this again tonight and looked so forward to it and it goes by so fast!!! THANK YOU SO Much I will probably type a post each time I do it because I love it so much!! LOL
Those Arrows and figure 8 symbols really helped do the workout more efficiently. Thank you! :)
You're welcome! I'm so glad it helped!
This was the first hip circle video that I tried when I discovered Femfusion last year. I enjoy & appreciate all that each contributing instructor has to offer but this video remains my go-to favorite when I need a good hip routine. I think that your teaching method is A+. Are you a school teacher? You instructions are clear & easy to follow
and I like that you respect your audiences' ability to recognize their own limits & go at their own pace. "Pay attention to your knees!" I was unable to work out for awhile so I knew where to start 😊 I'm going slow,
half your speed but that's the best way of jumping back in, right? So ty for your expertise. Much appreciated 🐾
Thank you! I'm so glad you've been circling with me all this time, and that you find my teaching to be clear!
@@vibrantpelvichealth You're more than welcome

Hi, I've just come across your workout while I was looking for something that didn't make me jump up and down (I have a bad hip and knees that don't like the pressure of running etc)
I've just completed this workout and apart from my knees clicking when I bent them I did ok. Need to improve on my co ordination but I really enjoyed it and I'm hitting subscribe so I can do more
That’s what belly dancers do. Figure 8”s👍Great job Dr. Bri👏👏👏
Ab workouts can make things worse if you don't do them properly or if you have pelvic floor or core tension.
You betta get it Dr. Bri!! Go girl!
Wow. I felt that more than I expected to. Lots of fun. Thank you.
Thanks, Dr. Bri, the instructions are very encouraging for a beginner like me! Elsy Matthew Kerala India

I am glad you enjoyed doing these moves with me! I wish you a smooth recovery :)
Gotta admit. I didn’t think this would be intentional and intense but I loved it!!! 😂It was such s cool and fun yet challenging workout. Thank you!!

I love this lady!!! She's so much fun!!! A feel good person!!! Great workout!! I'm really sweating!!!

Glad I dropped in. This will help my skating and I’m over 60.
Love this, it was really challenging for me. Thank you for making it fun.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very well explained, using the visual images! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I have two prolapsed discs, whenever I feel tightness in my lower back or any back pain, I follow the exercises in this video and it relieves me of the pain. Thankyou Dr Bri.
Glad the exercises are helping with your back pain!
OMG this was fantastic! Been wanting to do the figure 8 workout for a long time (ads popping up on fb...) so this is a great intro to the moves! Quite tough but so fun! Saved and on repeat during the lockdown ;-)
