Owner of the Grand Power: “It’s for the European market to shoot +P+.” Most of the European legislation: “Civilians can’t own and use +P and +P+ and various other special ammunition.” Smells kinda fishy.
IDeO NATO spec is seen as “military ammunition” and basically all European countries ban that kind of ammunition. Europe has its mental rules and USA have another mental rules and laws. For example in Czech Republic (I live here and CZ UB produce their guns here) you can’t own “military weapons and ammunition”. So even CZ has two different options on its website: “normal” variant of their guns and “military spec” variant of their gun with warranty for using NATO spec 9 mm and 5,56 mm ammo. And only army and law enforcement can buy NATO spec variants.
Pretty sure he meant he wants it to be able to run super hot russian AP 9mm ammo designed for the ppsh and sub guns, because I’m sure there is surplus in Europe of it tag us Americans can’t get our hands on legally.
I can confirm that +P and +P+ are almost impossible to find here in EU.. also I’m not aware of any mil contracts for the Stribog... should have made it to run standard 124 fmj and call it good..
WC_2 Electric_Boogaloo Out of my Sig MPX, Kriss Vector, and Scorpion Evo 3, all in 9mm, I would say the Evo is the best value and “bang for your buck” for sure.
I bought a A3 a month or so ago. I’ve put around 500 rounds through it without any issues. I did lube the mag in the beginning though since I had watched his previous vid on the issue. Overall I’ve enjoyed the gun a lot and it does shoot very well in my opinion. I’ve not yet experienced the issue with the round going back into the receiver but I haven’t had to clear a round out of it yet. Also I haven’t had a lot of trouble buying ammo lately been going to academy sports. If you have one local and get there at opening they seem to be getting ammo shipments in 3 times a week !
LatinoJackson id really hop not and I have a lot of faith in Mac. I’ll keep testing mine and see how it goes. But as of right now it doesn’t have any problems. I even ran syntech ammo with it and it didn’t malfunction.
bought mine back in July, ran it fine through various types of ammo 115, 124, subsonic S&B and subsonic federal (just over 700 rnds to date). I've shot tula, federal, winchester all un-suppressed and suppressed through an Octane45. The gun's only malfunction thus far was loose screws on the ejector plate. Nothing some loctite couldn't fix. The mags are definitely the weak point of design, and I hope they do update the mags to a gen 3. That said, lubricate your mags and it does run. Maybe I was just lucky, but so far so good.
I totally agree that with 3 years to get ready for the US market they should have the gun ready for the most commonly available ammo here. I also agree that there should be no need to oil the magazines to get them to function properly. Now having watched this video after having already seen the Gauntlet test of it, since that's the way you released these 2 for us Patreon supporters, I'm even more impressed with how well it preformed.
@@Genesis23OPB I am sure, that exactly this is the case. But if you want to sell in the US,it should better work there!Everything else is shooting yourself in the foot!
@@pebo8306 well the thing is that roller delayed weapons require hotter ammo to function properly ,so while i agree that they obviously should adjust it to the market they're selling their weapon in, there are also some things you just can't get around simply by design of the mechanism. Basically I don't think they'll ever get this to run reliably without bigger modifications wich they propably wont do due to cost.
I have an SP5 and the A3. The SP5 eats everything several thousand rounds all suppressed never one malfunction. I'd rather pay for the SP5 10 times over then buy the A3 again.
You had me @ “PCC Gauntlet”! I can’t wait. That roller looks like debris will shut it down really quick. I’m interested to see if the APC9’s tight tolerances work against it when dirty too. Thanks for another great video!
Pro tip with synthetic magazines don't use gun oil. Use STP SON OF A GUN or other plastic conditioners. I love the Israeli Orlite mags, Thermold USA mags and Hexamags. Plastic conditioners make them shine like a brand new car interior and slip slide like magic eliminating follower bind. I learned that trick with Glock mags back in the 90's before steel liner drop free mags. If you have polymer mags treat it with the appropriate conditioner. Don't use Armorall it will make it brittle and break.
I have the A1 Gen 2. I have put about 750 rounds through it Suppressed and unsuppressed with a Rugged obsidian 9 in the long and short configuration. I’m using freedom munitions hush 147s and 165s. Also blazer 115s, HST 147s and gold Dot 147s. I even dropped a loaded magazine on the cement with about 25 rounds in it and it worked. So far it’s been awesome. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
What's funny is that it's by pure happenstance. I purposely didn't wear my B&T hat because people would say "Oh, you're just a shill for B&T" because I've said several times the APC9 is my favorite PCC. So naturally me wearing a CZ hat makes me a Scorpion shill. I always manage to step in it no matter what I do! Thanks for watching.
Akinaro It’s beyond me how a company can delete the workaround that they designed to correct the lost case malfunction in order to roll out the delayed blowback. Thanks anyway... I’ll stick with my Scorpion..
It looks like a promising pistol/carbine system. I would really like to see it go head to head with the CMMG rotary delay pistol/cabine system for cost vs reliability. Great video and keep up the good work.
The A1 (there isn't an A2) is a good design and is blowback operated vs. roller delayed like this firearm. The gen 1 A1's were quite reliable. The gen 2 A1's had similar problems as the A3 is having. Fortunately Global Ordnance is working on a fix: instagram.com/p/CFcQzrmAOwd/
You had some funky stuff going on with those mags for sure. I have had no issue like that at all with mine. I have the 2nd gen SP9A1 with gen1 magazines. Gun performs perfectly so far for me.
Hmmm. My gen 2 runs flawlessly, never had a malfunction of any kind, even with that aluminum cased federal. Was thinking about upgrading for the new features but from this review it kinda seems like it would be a more expensive downgrade. Guess I'll wait around for a while and see what people are saying in the next few months
I had the older reciprocating charging handle version it functioned flawless on whatever ammunition I fed it. But months later I started having issues with cracked magazines feed lips to where they ended up broken. It’s a great gun. The trigger was good and I changed the springs with JP Enterprise springs and even got better. It’s accurate. The only set back is weight and magazine breaking feed lips. So as much as I loved the Stribog I eventually replaced it with a B&T TP9.
The SP9A1 with the non-reciprocating charging handle that we have access to is still running flawlessly after 1000 rounds. Mo mag issues either. My arthritic hands have no issues with the first 28 rounds and still can fill to 32 - never lubed them either. By far the most fun gun we have available to shoot.
The early SP9A1's (gen 1's they're called) are reliable guns. They got into trouble with the "gen 2" guns with the non-reciprocating charging handle and the A3's recoil system.
I have run 3 models of the stribog. I still own the A3. I did have some feeding issues with the original mags. And not every time I loaded the mags. And I do have the mags marked for range use only. Four of the six I owned functioned flawlessly since the gen 1 and gen 2 1A. And definitely not apparently as many as literally just a handful of channels seem too. I seem to have the same experience most of the channels seem too. The majority remark they have not had the issues so widely reported. But they have heard of it. And I like most run the gamut on ammo. I have never fed carry rounds through it. I have fed bulk 115 grain through all of them. As 124 when it was on sale. Since they fixed the original mags. I cannot recall a single FTF or FTE issue. I have not changed to the shortened buffer. In fact nary an internal change. The 2 A1's I sold with the new curved mags. Because I did not want to sell the two range only mags to someone. And I can afford to have range only toys. Many only every buy 1 or 2 firearms. So I wanted them to have no issues. Maybe you just are limp wristing a bit in your old age? More than a little gray up top. Because you seem to have more issues than most with these.
A3 magazines. The spring cannot be installed upside down but it can be installed backward. If so the back of the follower gets spring tension before the front and greater tension all the time, so the ammo can do all kind of crazy stuff. Looking at it now I believe 2 or 3 of mine came that way from the factory. Then the fact that anemic ammo caused a jam where a spent case and a new round were tangled inside the action really confused the issue. So a really accurate gun got a bad rap. I got mine to work like a champ before they replaced the bolt and locking block on the first 3000. Disassemble a mag and see for yourself or put the spring in backward and fill it up.
I actually set out to buy one of these but just couldn't find one anywhere to buy. I ended getting lucky and finding a PSA gen 4 PX9 in stock (4" with SB brace) and I've been very happy with it. I did buy an 8.5" barrel and longer aluminum rail for it but it has been 100% reliable regardless of which barrel is on it. I've ran it hard at times too. I also like that it's compatible with pretty much every aftermarket AR part you would want. Next up - CZ Scorpion with a side folder
I received my replacement A3 from Global with the updated fixes. I have around 500 rounds through it all suppressed 147 grain ball, Gold Dot 147gr, and Federal 150 gr syntech ammo. Flawless function runs perfect lock backs everything time also on empty magazine which it didn't before. I have purchased and SP5, APC9 Pro K, and the SP9A3 in the last 6 months so I have some good comparisons. The SP5 is still the best shooting however not a huge difference between the APC9 and SP9A3. When you factor in price it might be a better choice.
Thumbs up for making it "not an ordinary simple blowback" :) always happy to see people doing things differently :) not necessarily better but it still counts :)
Mac I’ve watched a lot of videos on this weapon and you are the only one having issues like this . I see they are real issues but it’s just darn strange buddy. Great video though. You always seem to do a great review on all type of weapons. I have one but just got it to see for myself. Thank you for making this video. ❤
@@Militaryarmschannel well all the testing and great content is appreciated. I have tavor 9mm mags and a bam adapter on the way. Hopefully this fixes the mag issues. After reading the online testing thread i'm not too confident.
GPs original hammer fired pistols were great and reliable. When they switched to subcompact and striker-fired pistols they started having problems. These Strings seem to be hit or miss as well. They also switched their warranty repair provider when they changed to Global Ordnance. The service has been problematic and repair methods sometimes questionable.
I think Ian McCollum once said something along the lines of (paraphrasing here) the magazine is a critically important component of a well functioning firearm. Amusing considering he owns a Chauchat. Yes, I know he got his to run right.
I just purchased an A3 with updated curved magazines. I wonder if this will help the issues you describe. Can't wait to get it and test it out! Great video, as always.
I'm not spending B&T/MPX money on a PCC, and these videos are what pushed me over to the Scorpion. While it's not perfect, it's perfectly reliable, has great magazines, and the aftermarket support is nice.
I just canceled my pre-order for a Stribog that I've been waiting 4 months on, and paid a 3% cancelation fee after watching your 3 Stribog videos. I hope I didn't make a huge mistake, but it doesn't seem reliable enough.
The fires are closing in on me here on Mt. Hood Oregon, and I’m watching a gun review! Thanks for the distraction MAC:) Because I don’t want to shoot my stock of brass ammo I’ve been been using steel(Tula) in my scorpion evo and my Glocks. The steel has way more friction and therefor I don’t load mags to full capacity. What I’ve found helps is dripping oil down the walls inside the magazine. This may create problems in the future but it is what it is in 2020. Stribog is cool, but I don’t regret going with the CZ, thousands of rounds with no prob.
Anemic ejection as well. She needs some hot ammo. My blowback scorpion evo throws brass about 40 feet. But it also bounces around more than an ar 15. Very violent impulse. Waiting for an affordable delayed option.
I have one issue with the way the malfunction was cleared. If a malfunction happened like that with an AR, pulling the magazine makes more sense. I see that being a good example to show the void where the case could fall if you point the gun up but if you tried that same technique with the evo or b&t the round wont clear.
Why would pulling the magazine on the malfunction where the case got under the bolt help? It didn't try to feed another round, the case was holding the bolt back. Let's face it, no gun should malfunction in such a way that a spent case can get into the trigger group or under the bolt. To say that's operator error is to be making irrational excuses for the guns flawed design.
@@Militaryarmschannel maybe I came across like I was making excuses for the gun, I am not and I agree that the area that was blocked by the second rod is a problem now that the recoil system is changed. I just was thinking that with a stove pipe with a gun like that or similar would be best served buy pulling the mag out and clearing the gun that way. I went some years in the Army and I don't think pointing the gun up while trying to clear a malfunction is a good Idea but it's not to say people don't do it, and the gun is flawed mostly by a bad magazine witch is to bad cause I think the delayed version has somthing to bring to the market for suppressor use. I am drawing up a version that uses cz mags for my 3d printer. By the time I'm done I'm sure the market will have a solution already but it's good fun to try. I hope cleared up the misunderstanding. My mags ended up becoming way easier to load after loading and unloading them after some time. But they were definitely PAINFUL to load the first few times.
Honestly if I were to spray any kind of lubricant in those magazines it would be a silicone-based lubricant. Depending on the polymer they used it would help avoid damage caused to some polymers by normal petroleum-based lubricant.
Tim, I would love to see you put a blurp at the end of this video that talks about the .5" and 1" spacers that are now available to fix the brass behind the bolt issue
@@tiortedrootsky that pesky taper. Because 7.65 parabellum had a taper, 9mm ended with the same taper. Now, there is a 9mm Automatic that was basically a straight walled 9mm, BUT it never caught on for...reasons.
I discussed this in the 2nd Stribog video. I showed the MP5 malfunctioning with straight mags and said this is why modern mags really should be like Scorpion mags and have a curve to them.
Excellent video as we have come to expect from MAC. Very informative stuff on this new bolt design. And very impressive shooting at the 200 and 250 ranges. It would be interesting to see how it performs with a silencer on it.
Interesting.... So they need reduce weight of bolt, or spring tension to fix that problem. IMO, it's better to reduce mass of this roller delayer. Or add spare parts for both high and low pressure ammo. I waited this video so long. Big Thanks!
In Europe, I live in Slovakia, we do not shoot +P or +P+. Yes, we shoot lots of FMJ because it's all we are allowed for self-defense. Yes, mostly 115grs or 124grs. I personally 124grs S&B or ZVS. Would we want to put +P+ in our polymer pistols?
Combination "roller delayed" and "inertial amplification". That block of steel at the front of the bolt has to accelerate backwards at a higher rate than the bolt. The higher the rearward bolt acceleration (during peak pressure), the more the inertial mass causes the cam pin to engage the sloping cam slot. Pretty clever. What might be unknown is robustness against dirt and durability... The MP5 uses a heavy hammer with a cocking geometry to amplify the total bolt inertia, along with its roller delay system.
Actually, that's not 100% true. I got a text from him today saying he was still having problems with the gun with 147's with a silencer. He also had issues with other bullet weights.
Military Arms Channel...I watched the video of you shooting your friends CZ Bren 2, trying to recreate a failure to extract. I think I discovered a possible reason for people experiencing this. In this video you never see if this guy is using a brace of any kind but it certainly looks as if he’s shooting without one. This is important because it looks as if he’s causing the failure to extract buy essentially limp wristing the firearm. ua-cam.com/video/ePkTO2SP39c/v-deo.html
I've seen this problem before. What's occurring is the harmonics get out of cycle or battery. I wonder if this firearm has been fully tested. And, a computer will not help here. Examples of this were the micro mac 10 as well as the uzi. Once they were reworked and tested now those issues have been resolved
I was really rooting for this to be a home run but for now I'll stick with my skorpion. It may have more recoil but it's the least ammo sensitive gun I've ever owned. Never had a malfunction, even with subsonic 124 grain loads.
I really want to like this firearm, but I’m not dropping 1k for a brand new gun with known issues when there are better options out there. Do you know if Grand Power will bring the TR-22 to the US market?
My A3 had to be sent in for repair but honestly I don't think it's fixable. I shoot 100% suppressed with subsonic ammo it chokes on subsonic ammo even suppressed tried 5 different brands of high quality 147 grain nothing worked consistently. I'll probably just sell mine for a loss when I get it back. I wouldn't trust my life with this gun it's a shame because if it worked it would be a great suppressed truck gun. That's what I get for being in early on this one.
I was having the exact same issues as you outlined they've had mine for a couple weeks and told me if they couldn't figure out the issue by the end of this week they'd send me a brand new firearm. I don't think it will matter I think the gun will only run certain types of ammo like MAC stated hotter plus p stuff. I only shoot heavy subsonic ammo so it's useless to me. I'll try it again whenever I get either the repaired gun or a replacement back. If it still doesn't work I'll just sell it I don't keep guns that aren't reliable.
Looks like a great truck and Home defense gun. The gen3 of this gun should allow the owner to change the grip to any AR grip, address any of the issues demonstrated here and work with 115 gr 9mm or have a spring available that does and maybe increase the barrel to 10" too.
According to the designer, Jaro, if we're going to use regular 9mm vs. +P+ owners need a new locking piece with a "45 degree" angle vs. the 40 degree angle. Jaro asked us to ask Global Ordnance to request new locking pieces. Again, they knew this all along yet they went ahead and shipped these guns to the US knowing they would have problems.
Looks like the mag needs to be curved for the taper of 9mm. Maybe it was originally supposed to be in .40 or .45 or another straight walled cartridge and they never redesigned the magazine geometry? It would also explain why it likes heavier bullets, and why a 9mm case is small enough to fall behind the action.
15 oz. for the reciprocating weight still seems like a lot considering the MP5 and Sig MPX have BCG weights between 8.5 and 9.5 oz. Some open bolt direct blowback guns such as the Micro Uzi have reciprocating weights less than that of the SP9A3
That's one of the reasons I say the recoil impulse really isn't that much different than the blowback gun. Can you feel a difference? Yeah, you can. Is it a massive difference? No, it's not.
Military Arms Channel I wonder how effective the Stribog’s delaying mechanism is considering that the direct blowback APC9 has a bolt almost identical in weight. Anyway, I really appreciate you including these weights in your videos. It’s extremely informative and not something many channels do 👍
I believe the previous gen runs in the $600 range and the roller delayed version runs in the $900 range (for base model with no brace). Mines should be arriving soon and I'm just praying that it runs alright
The mags will be bad, that much is guaranteed. However, the issue with reliability when using something other than 124gr ammo is something Grand Power is working to resolve... finally.
Military Arms Channel Luckily I only shoot federal 124g. Hopefully it reliable feeds Speer gold dots. I hope it doesn’t take them another 3 years to fix the mags
I often read slovak guns groups on FB and that guy just appears and starts insulting people very time somebody asks if it is true, that the gun has got some issues.
My stibog loves Nato 124 grain ammo. Basically that's +P. It hates lower power ammo, especially Syntech 150 grain or weak light rounds. Works 100% for me with +P defensive rounds. Mines not the A3, just has a non-reciprocating bolt.
The problem is I can buy most any other PCC from the cheapest 9mm Hi-Point carbine to a HK SP5 or APC9 and they'll run everything you put in them from pud powered steel cased Wolf to +P+ defensive loads. There's zero reason why a $1000 gun like this should be such a picky eater. That, and there's no excuse for the magazines.
@@Militaryarmschannel I didn't spend that much and I get your point. I have the original mags and they aren't perfect but they work. I'm not trying to argue it's a great gun but I got it as a range toy and it will run NATO and it's not a Hi Point. I'm just saying it likes hot rounds likely due to the operating mass. The delay system probably just trades friction for that weight.
I was worried when I bought mine cause your video about it. But then I get it and it’s ran like a champ for 3000 rounds of hollow point and junk and all kinds of crap. Maybe I’m just lucky but I’ll keep it.
It seems to vary. Just a few posts down from yours a guy posted this: "My stribog wouldn't shoot HP ammunition and had multiple FTF lubed the magazines and same issues. Don't even get me started on how easily the magazines start to crack. I'll stick to my evo scorpions and akv."

Graham Bates, a personal friend of Jaro (the owner of Grand Power) is in possession of 3 locking pieces which he is testing. This is to fix the problems I showed.
I've one since few months. Malfunction feed were cause by Spring mag when they are new. Should you let your mags full of ammo 2days and no more feed problem.
Spring mag are too strong out of the box. Now my Stribog eat all brands of ammo and have zero malfunction. It's a great gun. Should you make a test in mud, water and sand for testing his reliability ?
@Rob Banta - I totally agree. I find it very interesting that he's wearing a CZ-USA hat. I find it even more interesting that he's the only one reviewing the Stribog (any variant) and bashing the hell out of it. I see nothing but good reviews from all walks regarding the Stribog, but not this guy for some reason. I also see nothing but comments stating they would never buy the Stribog, or that they would buy one of the CZ PCC's. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Any semi-auto that needs to be tickled that much to run reliably is unsuitable for the uses for which it is designed. It's an expensive plinker, no more.
In the military I learned that magazine s should be dry, to not accumulate sand and dirt, shooting since 1984 in competition, never had the magazines "stop" other shooters have had problems, when having them lubricuted and not cleaning them (.22 lr). Hot water to rinse them out and a very very light coat of very thin oil just to protect the steel from the water, and then wipe them out.
Lubricating magazines is a generally bad idea for the reasons you stated. The mags on the Stribog are flawed. They need to be fixed. A company is making a Colt SMG magazine adapter because of all the mag related issues others are having. I just ordered one and will do a video with it in the future.

Owner of the Grand Power: “It’s for the European market to shoot +P+.”
Most of the European legislation: “Civilians can’t own and use +P and +P+ and various other special ammunition.”
Smells kinda fishy.
Shouldn't they have made it NATO spec? That stuff is loaded pretty hot.
IDeO
NATO spec is seen as “military ammunition” and basically all European countries ban that kind of ammunition.
It's funny Jaro claims that and I've seen people from France and Slovakia say in this thread that +P and +P+ isn't commonly available.
I can confirm that +P and +P+ are almost impossible to find here in EU.. also I’m not aware of any mil contracts for the Stribog... should have made it to run standard 124 fmj and call it good..

I just said the same thing. I lubed the mags and recoil spring. 500 rounds in suppressed and unsuppressed with zero malfunctions.
LatinoJackson id really hop not and I have a lot of faith in Mac. I’ll keep testing mine and see how it goes. But as of right now it doesn’t have any problems. I even ran syntech ammo with it and it didn’t malfunction.
I trust and like Mac my experience just has been different! Waiting on my first suppressor and can’t wait to use it suppressed !!
I do think he is good at finding all the flaws even if someone else might not run into them though lol
bought mine back in July, ran it fine through various types of ammo 115, 124, subsonic S&B and subsonic federal (just over 700 rnds to date).
PCC Gauntlet?? YESSS!! I've been waiting for something like that from you guys! Thanks Tim!!
What a coincidence, that these problems do not accure at European ranges and ammo!
Unfortunate. I hope they get some of the bugs worked out. I really like this firearm.

I like watching Mac. I love CZ. So does Mac. My wife is Czech. I am picking up a String today.

Im considering the gen 2 as well. Are the 3 mags decent still? Ive heard the feed lips can deform or break over time.
Very consistent ejection pattern with the 124 grains. Definitely seems like the firearm likes the heavier rounds.
Owner of Grand Power: "It’s for the European market to shoot +P+"
Every gun owner on the planet Earth: "What?!"
Thanks for the honest review.
Thank you.

Be safe my friend and thank you for watching. I'm praying for you!
JOPS BALLTURRET Hey, Jops, we dodged the bullet here in east Salem, good luck to you mate. //ji
That is such a cool little pistol. It's unfortunate they didnt take the time to fully redesign those mags.
Interesting.... So they need reduce weight of bolt, or spring tension to fix that problem.
IMO, it's better to reduce mass of this roller delayer. Or add spare parts for both high and low pressure ammo.
I waited this video so long. Big Thanks!
Thank you for watching.
I have a pretty good idea of how it resists water, sand, dirt and mud because we posted a Gauntlet video on our Patreon page.

I want to like these. Are the issues still present all these years later? I have seen no new videos on these.
I sent my A3 in for repairs a few weeks ago. (LRBHO not working , FTE, FTF) Have you received any updates?
I was having the exact same issues as you outlined they've had mine for a couple weeks and told me if they couldn't figure out the issue by the end of this week they'd send me a brand new firearm. I don't think it will matter I think the gun will only run certain types of ammo like MAC stated hotter plus p stuff. I only shoot heavy subsonic ammo so it's useless to me. I'll try it again whenever I get either the repaired gun or a replacement back. If it still doesn't work I'll just sell it I don't keep guns that aren't reliable.
@@donaldlawson5388 I was using 115 & 124 grain

Tim, Slovakian Steve jobs saying you're just holding it wrong!
"We have to slow down on our ammo consumption" *proceeds to magdump 4 mags* 😂😂😂 good video, today i learned about roller delay blowback systems, thankyou MAC!
MAC: Hopefully you will be revisiting this with the upgraded bolt and components
I have a Sig mpx for a few years know and never had any type problems with it suppress or unsuppress
My early Gen 1 MPX has been flawless too. It's been a very good gun.
Hellava price tag for a "hmm thats not great" gun
With the problems you've shown and I've seen Mike have, I'm guessing this is why GO seems to beat around the bush about sending me a T&E A3? :(
Graham Bates, a personal friend of Jaro (the owner of Grand Power) is in possession of 3 locking pieces which he is testing. This is to fix the problems I showed.

@@Militaryarmschannel Thank you sir. I'll have to keep bugging Drew @ GO about a sample :D
Great review. I’m glad that I held off on purchasing this firearm. I’m going to take a pass and build an AR platform 9mm PCC.
If my firearms instructor had seen me trying to clear a stoppage the way you suggested, he would have kicked my arse till my nose blead.
@@Militaryarmschannel Have You ever tried the smg Swedish K, and their magazines, 36 rounds, the ammo cames in a frame 6x6 and with a speedloader, You are finished in a couple of seconds. The mags are wider at the back than in the front, that makes it work with a straight magazine body for 36 rounds. The magazine is a copy from the Danish Hovea smg, if I am not mistaken, there is a rumor that in the beginning they had 50 round box magazines. But back to the 36. We learned that we should take 2 mags, top up on both, with electrical tape connect the bottoms, have a stick about a 1/3 down from top about 10mm in diameter, between the mags, tape them together there to. The You have 72 rounds available very quickly. It was called Ranger Magazines = Jägarmagasin. Then there was no chance to lose a round or get dirt into the mag. Works with the Ak4 = HK G3.
I wanted one for a while but now I think I’d prefer the AK-V. Great video Tim! Patreon member here.
Thanks for the support, brother. The AKV9 is a boat load of fun, and it works, and mags are affordable and usually available considering it runs Scorpion mags.
Guys buying this gun will be using Tula and Wolf 9mm, that would be a good judge of reliability.
I don't believe my example would run at all with steel cased ammo. I don't have any to test at the moment thought.
Military Arms Channel if I had any steel cased 9mm, I would gladly donate about 500 to you Tim, pending a video on it. I will see if I can source some...
CMMG Banshe baby! Haven’t had a single failure in 1000 plus rounds... and American made.
I believe the magazine trouble maybe the follower rubbing against the magazine wall
