Andretti Indoor Kart Racing - Orlando FL

- This is a video of one of my races on 12-23-2021. For me, Andretti is the 2nd best Kart facility in Orlando. The karts are fast, with added sound effects and the track is fun and has multiple elevations. It may not be the fastest indoor track in Orlando, but it's the most fun, in my opinion.
The only negative to this track, as well as many other indoor tracks is that you don't get a full 10 minutes of racing. Especially when you have amateur drivers that can't drive, which causes the team to cut the power on all karts. So you'd better take advantage of every un-interrupted lap to put down your best times.
I can’t imagine paying money to race then having someone tell me to slow down.
WHAT is the point of making him slow down?! IT IS A RACE
It's a race but your not paying for the damage to vehicles, infrastructure, electronics and other people. Get a clue
@@curtmcguire5431still though, you’re paying for membership and paying separately for racing and can almost add up to $100. If i’m paying that much i’m gonna race the way it is supposed to be done. I understand they want the equipment not to be damaged and keep people safe but those karts get serviced regularly and you’re not going that fast in and indoor track, so it’s not like someone is gonna die or be seriously injured. Coming from someone who races outdoor with real karts and even some indoor places i’ve been to, i have never heard of going “too fast” and making you slow down just because. If they don’t want you to go that fast they why do they allow the karts to go that fast?
@@curtmcguire5431 mf if they didn’t want customers going that fast they could modify the karts to go slower, but they didn’t
@@curtmcguire5431he clearly knows what he is doing. He’s lapping people and didnt crash once… until the guy who has no concept of drive line purposefully swerved into him while attempting a clean pass.
Great traffic management and overall driving. About to head over to Andretti for the first time in a while right now. This video was a great refresher

Nice track!! Here in the Northwest, we don't have crap for indoor tracks, and outdoor tracks are few and far between! My closest track is 40mi, and the next closest is 86mi and 140mi. We need more!!

Nice…. You must be around .40 seconds? Just got back from there. Haven’t driven a go kart in 11 or 12 years and at 235lbs I did 0.43 flat on that track. 1st place on both races I did, and I actually drove the same line as in your video. I miss racing but life chances and priorities too….
Just went yesterday, fastest time I seen was 44 secs, I was pushing 46 - 47 sec.
Less than half a second is amazing lap times.
I clocked a 0.31 in Dallas, I'm flying to Orlando tomorrow and Andretti isn't very far from Universal, so I'll probably try that track out

If you hit the wall, you slow down or stop. No flipping involved.
Can these karts go any slower? It's like watching paint dry.
How does the boost work
what setting did you have on the camera for this video? its so clean and clear.
I am pretty sure this was with my Hero8 Black, before I acquired my Hero10 Black. But I believe this was set at 2.5k 60fps.
@@CiscoMedia76 I mean like the exposure and iso and white balance ect. Did you adjust those or just go with the GoPro setting?
I ask bc I just did this course with my GoPro and the video is garbage-ish

Is this place better than K1? I have not been to either one.
IMO yes. K1 is boring. The track is flat and nothing special about the karts. Definitely to Andretti. Hands down the better of the two, with cool karts that have engine sounds and a BOOST button, plus elevation changes. All this makes for a fun track. Go on Wednesday nights now and run on their SuperTrack, which is when they combine both tracks into one mega track. Wish I could make it down there for that.

#1 Kart track in Orlando is "Orlando Kart Center". Outdoor track, gas karts. Best indoor track IMO is this one, Andretti.

are you talking about how he drove close to the walls on the straights? if so it’s because he’s just driving on the optimal racing line
Track is too tight, obnoxious fake car sound, electric sucks. The real kart drivers are racing gas.
Can’t run gas indoors. There are pros and cons to both. Check out my video of the outdoor track at Orlando Kart Center. That’s my favorite.

@@silverfoxmckeand1125 No you freaking don't. You would be dead if you did because of all the carbon monoxide. There's a reason most indoor tracks are electric and outdoor tracks are gas.
