- I've lived in Orlando, Florida for my entire life. I never have been to all of the racing tracks this city has to offer. In this video, you will learn the PROS and CONS of each GO KART track in Orlando.
To buy your own #NorbergNation Merch, go to: www.bonfire.com/store/norberg...
Big thanks to AndyRacerTV for letting me barrow his video. Check out his channel here : / @andyracertv2248 - Спорт
This is perfect dude! I just got to Miami and going to Orlando tomorrow, was hoping to get some fun with Go Karts and didnt know what was the best option, thank you bro!
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much man! I travled the east coast and found out that some karting places are more pointed towards family friendly and a secondary item. I'll definetly checkout the kart orlando kart center when visiting for the daytona 500
FYI, at Andretti, that “boost button” doesn’t increase top speed. It increases your rate of acceleration.
Wow didn't know that!
great review man, thank you!!!!
Great video man I've been to all of them and I can definitely agree with you orlando kart center is by far the best experience
Yeah OKC Has a lot to offer
I don't even kart race and I can appreciate how detailed this is . Good job
I'm coming to Orlando in about a month. This video definitely helped me decide which track to choose👍
Hell yeah! Ryan Norberg hanging out in the rental karts with the rest of us!
I have a series of videos on my channel from our local league, I think you've been to Pat's a couple times? Rentals (and rental leagues) are definitely a good place to learn race craft without worrying about destroying your kart while learning to pass or draft. I think if you can be successful in the rentals, you'll have a much better start in racing your own kart.
Yes, he is fast! Senna, my son, is also there with you at Sykart putting down top times. You can visit my channel or the RacingForBeginners channel. I'm not trying to highjack this but hoping to get more people into watching some quality indoor driving vids and get to the tracks! \(^_^)/
yes I think so as well. Its a good place to learn the basics of racing and build your race craft
@@BionicMadness Ill check it out
@@NorbergNation thank you so much Ryan! It would mean a lot to both Senna and I. They just changed the track so I need to upload the new footage of it.
Thank you, very helpful
I think it would be really cool if you did a lap guide if the OKC rental karts for any people trying to start there with karting.
I love watching your stuff, I was interested to see what you thought of K1 because that’s where I got my start. The things that sucks about K1 is that they have I think 4 different speeds on the kart and increase it as you get more experience. So you don’t get the full experience unless you race after a while and show the staff you are a good driver.
I really enjoyed watching this video though and it was cool seeing the difference between all these tracks.
I heard that too. That why I like gas powered karts the best. They go as fast as you can get them. Thanks for watching
Cool video Ryan.
I miss seeing you around the tracks. In my defense, I’ve not been around much lately.
Im at Orlando a lot now swing by
this is exactly what I needed
Awesome! Thanks for watching
Thanks for the shoutout!! Sorry you didnt have a good time at K1 speed Orlando, i think indoor karting and outdoor karting are just polar opposites, you can tell the outdoor karting gives a more hardcore or realistic experience to pro karts, while indoor karting is just for a family friendly fun night out
It definitely does
Thanks for letting me use your vidoe
Thanks Ryan, Im coming this winter to train there for the first time, need to get some advice on renting an Lo 206 plus possibly some coaching...
That would be nice!
Have you ever tried NOLA Motorsports Park? It’s near New Orleans, Louisiana. I have a few clips on my UA-cam if you want to see how it goes. There is also a separate track for faster karts, but I never tried those yet
Would love to race you at OKC. I've got about 60 races in rental karts on that track and find it most fun when you're racing someone with the same skills level!!
Awesome video Ryan
Thank you!
can u give any track tips to race in Andretti?
There is a indoor go kart track in south high point Florida called the Tampa bay Grand Prix
I dont have a indoor kart track in my area, but it looks fun!
It was a different experience for sure
Who makes the gloves you have? I love the Stars and Stripes.
Andretii I feel it's exclusively for casuals and noobs like myself. It's definitely a place where everyone can participate in which is great. It's good to gather a whole group of friends/family. It's easier to convince your date to gokart there than say OKC. I don't think there's enough width on the track to realitically go 35mph unless alone. The fake engine noises are also cute lol.
I've also been to Orlando Kart Center it's pretty much inbetween a bunch of construction / industrial buildings in the far corner of dead end roads unlike Andretii which makes it less touristy but that's also why the tracks are legitimate.
Would be fantastic to see you do the rental league at Orlando.
Maybe I will one night
Have you tried Elev8 Fun in Sanford FL? It's another go kart track with 45 mph electric karts. That place is just like Andretti Karting Orlando. And it's a new place from January this year.
No but I heard its nice!
ryan norberg to rental kart league⁉️ as a driver who is looking to x30 senior next year, this is a #AllisonApproved 😀👍🏼
Nolan Allison, do you have video from the Rok race at Pat's? The final on Sunday?
hahahah Ill join a league if you do
@@Kart_Freak yes, I do.
@@nolanallisonracing2348 would you post it pleaaase? I think I might be in part of it.
@@NorbergNation If you do the rental league I will be there lol
Now i know where to go if i somehow end up in orlando one day :)
Yes make it to Orlando Kart Center if you ever get the opportunity
I’m entering rental league at my local track for the first time this year. I’ve been going to the track for a little over a year now practicing getting my lap times down. Any quick tips for driving the low horsepower rentals quicker!? I’ve watched nearly all of your videos but feel maybe some of the techniques you teach apply more to the higher horsepower 2 stroke karts.
Thanks for all the good content!
Everything applies to rental karts as well. The biggest thing to do is keep your speed up. Try to not overslow the kart. The low HP karts need help to get off corner. So making their job harder just makes you slower
High quality defensive driving at the 9 minute mark lol
Right. there were quite a few defensive drivers in the full length videos haha
If you were going to move to Florida and wanted to be a reasonable distance from Orlando cart center, where would you live ?
Kissimee is the area around the track
so the karts at k1 speed have 4 speeds. speed 1 is for the junior karts, and speed 3 is for the adult karts. when you become a regular there (or have a certain k1rs) the staff turn your kart up to speed 4. you'll certainly feel the difference and there is also some skill involved because you have to break at certain points. if you don't want to become a regular, than that's fine. there's also the gp(gopro) challenge. K1 speed hosts this once a month every month, each year. it's the first sunday of every month. all the racers are sped up to speed 4. and you compete for a prize at the end. I hope this comment helped. also the reason why andyracertv was passing everybody so easily was because he was on speed 4.
I keep hearing this. That definitely changes my opinion on the place but id still prefer a track where all the karts go as fast as possible from the start.
@@NorbergNation Yeah, I agree with you. But I guess it's a way for them to make more money by forcing you to come there more often.
Have you tried Fun Spots tracks?
Did you tell the guys at K1that you're a real driver? If you just show up and its your first couple of races they do not give you full power. I went to Orlando K1 2 wks ago and after the first race I went up two the guy with thr controller and told him I was experienced. He didn't want to believe me and said that if he gives me full power that I'll end up in the wall. I showed him that I was top 3 fastest and the week or Fort Lauderdale K1. Then he said "oh man ok I got you on the next race". Want out for the next race and the kart was easily 30% fastest and I clicked off 7th fastest lap on the 2nd lap of that race.
But yeah if they don't know you the carts are set to slow speed.
I didn't. Maybe I should've.
Ever been to dezerland?
Did you ever make it out to f1 Boston/x1 Boston before they closed?
Never got a chance to
@@NorbergNation damn. The outdoor track was one of the best in the world, at least according to my friend who races nationally
@@shirleyracing5283 I heard it was super nice too
Hey.Can u give me an advice to improve my braking (racing kart)
What kart do you drive?
I have a video on that already if you scroll down in my channel

Andretti looks like the EXACT same as supercharged karting. Even down to the karts. Takes skill to go fast there, but all the 20 year old dudes thinking they’re the fastest out there got frustrating. Impossible to pass someone if they defend
It was definitely a problem when you try to just go have fun
You bump n bang and put em in the wall
What class do you race at supernats?
X30 Senior
@@NorbergNation oh cool, I’m from aus and would love to get there one day. The guy I drive for has won it a few times but I think that’s x30 master
@@RocketRA621H nice! X30 is a super fun class
Rate top 3 tracks in Wisconsin
Id have to visit them all first. Only been to Showano and Road America
@@NorbergNation Yeah def check out Badger when you get a chance
@@shayensehgal4386 I hope I do one day
dont you work at OKC bruh💀
Karting for the public just isn't proper Karting, it's never going to be fun for someone whos done proper Karts.
In the UK we have a couple companies that even do public arrive and drive 2 strokes with Rotax engines, but they're restricted to Mini Max power and the Chassis is about 125kg rather than 80kg with very hard tyres and even that's not half of what a genuine X30 or Rotax Senior can do.
Indoor is meant for messing about with friends and family for a kids birthday day out etc, its not racing.
Outdoor is the way to go if your only option is rental karting.
But eventually if you want to do a lot of you get over the initial cost of buying a kart you'll have more fun and more experience and in the long run its even cheaper to run a proper Senior Rotax or X30.
Especially if you keep it to local club levels, older used karts are a good bargain and then race fees are cheap and your biggest expense is your tyres. But the fastest rental karts cost more than a set of tyres do for a 60 minute race. Hence in the long run if you want to go out every couple weeks owner is the way to go.
First👍🏼
Good Job!
These skinny new tracks for the electric go-karts are so boring.. 🤮 (not to mention the slow as karts themselves) not recommended...
Lmao Maitland Lil 500 is the best and will always be the best in Florida...Jan 8th 2022 last day since 1968
hahah it is. Too bad it just closed
