Regarding your point at 11:07, i live in The Netherlands, a country which is obviously known to have a very flat terrain, and not much nature either. I see people here driving around RAMs and i often wonder why they have a truck like that, especially because i live in the city. I can understand if you have one for work or something, but most of the time it seems like people just trying to compensate for something

Hatchbacks will not only give you any cargo space you want, but it will save money at the pumps and put a smile on your face every time you drive. Don’t be a sucker and buy an SUV.

I had a red GTI MK6 DSG that I traded in for a Tesla, and while I am not disappointed with the new car, I do miss the MK6.
GTI's just have a special magic/It factor. Also, the plaid seats were the best seats in any vehicle I have ever had.
There’s something I can’t put my finger on with this thing. It feels so fluid and amazing as a drivers car.
Change motor oil regularly and be watchful with coolant and water pump leaks. I owned a Mk7 Autobahn edition and I missed it.
I’ve already factored in the price to replace both the turbo and the water pump around 60-70k miles if they break. From what I read the mark 7s and 7.5s have those as the biggest issues, although the 7.5s are less likely.
You know GTI stand for ‘get there immediately’ lol.
With how fast this is, it definitely does!
How much range can you get on a Full Tank?
I’m averaging 450 miles a tank.

It’s a fantastic car to drive. If you want to give it the beans it’s loads of fun with plenty of power.
It can also be a fantastic cruiser that sips fuel. I absolutely love it.
As a German its makes me happy to see an American driving a German car and talking about it without any useless Stereotyping.
Also Manual is sick to see.
Do the US Models have the remote windows feature? (On the key hold unlock to roll all windows down, and hold lock to roll all windows up)
I do not have that feature.

It would be nice to have but thankfully this car heats/cools very quickly.

Fine German Engineering
Brilliant in some ways, confusing and unreliable in others. Insanely good car to drive and beautifully designed, unacceptable quirks with the seat rattle and blue tooth mic being attached to an entirely different module lol

First VW I ever owned. Always was nervous to get one considering how expensive they are to fix, but I love how this car drives so much I didn’t care.
@@chrishammillaudio I hear ya. I leased mine and turned it in at the end because, like you said, they are pretty pricey to fix. But man are they ever fun to drive. Enjoy!
