4:25 The small field to the left of the runway is a great spot for watching and filming them come in
Thanks for the information! Many greetings to Edingburgh!
1:55 - not quite the North Sea yet! Still quite definitely flying up the Forth of Forth.
Thank you for the clarification!
Great footage
Thank you!
Nice one!
Thanks! Have a great day!
I could not see that runway until very late on the approach!
Even with good visibility, this runway is difficult to recognice from further away. But as long as the pilots fly an ILS approach, they only need to see it at the decision altitude of the approach. That's when the airplane says minimum. Its at 04:26 in the video. At this point, the runway is easy to see.
not north sea this is the firth of forth
Thanks for watching
Hello mate! I’m a Microsoft flight sim 2020 content creator, and I am looking to make a side by side comparison video and was wondering if I could use your video for that? I will provide proper credit to your video in the description, thanks!
Thanks for your request! Due to legal considerations, I am unable to approve your request for the time being. This may change in the future. I am very sorry about that.
@@ApproachandDepartureVideos no worries thats why I asked before hand, thanks

04:48 "Spoiler"!!!!!
Yes. This is the callout of the pilot monitoring confirming that the ground spoilers have been extended automatically at touchdown. They help in the decelerating the airplane on the runway.
