- 3 different ISAC's? || Story / Lore || The Division 2
Introduced in Year 5, Season 1…Descent is an AR training simulation.
At the NSA Facility, it was designed to test the limits of the Ortiz Robotics tech.
Agents are forced to leave their gear and SHD tech behind, to help Wally extract intel from the NSA database.
Through this intel we will discover a wealth of knowledge about the history of the simulation, and Ortiz Robotics' connection to the Division, Natalya Sokolova, and Calvin McManus.

I feel like a broken record, but no leaks please. Be repectful of others.
This is a lot more than just one simple diamond program that made the hunters…..it’s also part embedded with black tusk as some kind of cult believers to the diamond. Overall this is a bigger problem than the divisions can handle.
Yeah no Rouges leaking stuff ):v we're watching you
I would say Hunters have acess to all 3. It would explain why they can jam tech/ comms so easily and move about undetected.
Hunters are on some bullshit power AI. Just started the game and only killed one with a fellow player.
And that was just the demon mask. Them hacking my shit was a pain in the ass.
@@Needler13 In lore Hunters are most likely Tier 1 Special Forces like the best of the best with years and year of war/combat experience under them. Like we're talking about SEAL Team 6 or Delta people. That's why they're more superb in combat and direct action and escape and evasion techniques then Agents. Also makes sense why they kick our ass in the game lol.
Diamond is Black Tusks System
Highest level processor power of the three, its the easiest intergratable network for all the electronic gadgets Black Tusk purchased from DARPA. And it's capabilities outnumber the other two.
ISAC is the Division's standalone system. Its the most adaptable, its comms are versatile and ISAC can troubleshoot better than Diamond, often giving Agents the edge in combat and field ops.
ANNA is an isolated system, probably designed as a secondary system to combat ISACS protocol if neccesary, its meant to do everything ISAC can but more efficiently and its functions are much better protected thanks to Parnells input.
Your right with the Hunters, they have Unfiltered access to Diamond and ISAC networks thanks to Mcmanus making a last ditch deal behind Sokolvas back to create a backdoor protocol for his hunters.
I don't know if the hunters have access to ANNA though, I'm thinking Keener and Parnell anticipated that threat when establishing ANNA within the Rogue agent cells.
@@MattCollectorControlso Aaron Keener is not the bad guy then?
@edwardmartin4169 he's a grey area guy. A decent leader but with really bad ideals.
Amherst wanted to bring back the idea that only the strongest should survive. Popularity control to stop humanity imploding on itself irreversibly. At least with only 10% of the world populace intact, (approx. 1.2 million compared to billions) it would humble us as a species to have to go back to survival above all. There is a chance for redemption in that according to him.
Keener felt that the world didn't learn from this outbreak, he felt the powers that be still chose to sacrifice the many to save themselves. No unity, and no cause for regret in their selfish governing.
He felt Armhersts goal needed to be more final in his mind. Eclipse was to be the exclamation point. A complete reset of civilisation. Hundreds instead of thousands. A few thousand instead of a few million. But most of all. The current government's across the globe would be unable to implant control any further.
Keener was a vengeful sympathiser of Amhersts vision. He felt it was up to him alone to change the world, his rogues merely being the worker bees that help to transform it. Nothing more.
Yes he's bad. But Sokolova is far worse. Play the game enough and you'll realise that immediately.
i think the hunters having the third type of system is the best bet. my guess is that it was still in its prototype stage and before it could be fully implemented the outbreak came along. so now mcmanus has taken that prototype and modified it for deployment in his hunters.
The hunters have a system that is similar to those of the SHD and Rogue agents but when Claire made it for Cal, it allowed Cal to use it as a backdoor to break into the other systems. Hence why when you fight hunters and use skills they can hack them and ISAC also doesn't recognize them since they were made separately.
I like how the diamond in the thumbnail for looking like the "friendly" icon from the Ghost Recon games
Most likely the reason why Malik got fired from odia is because he was doing some sort of corporate espionage for Natalia sokolova & they found out.
As far as it goes for the three networks that were connected before the outbreak it would be Isaac, diamond, and the tech that the hunters are using. Don't forget Leo Parnell had to make Anna almost from scratch All he did was use Isaac as a template for Anna he had to get his own servers in secret locations and the rogue network was born. All he has to do is piggyback off of Isaac and if Isaac went offline either permanently or temporarily Anna could easily jump off of Isaac's network onto her own network so the rogues would never be affected.
Thanks to this I now know 100% that keener was in the network looking at everything and got the big picture. The things he was doing in the long run were to benefit those agents that were truly on mission but Isaac would flag them as rogue we've seen it with other audio tapes where people were on mission but were flagged rogue and other audio tapes that some agents were surprised they weren't flagged rogue.
It looks like Aaron keener really was some sort of anti-hero.
You out your mind. Keener was a nutjob who tried to nuke the city. His big plan was to simply murk everybody. He's a villain.
Paul Rhodes is the man behind the curtain. He stays in the shadows for good reason. Ortiz is Rhodes niece/family and the face of the business. Go back to Div 1 and plays Paul's storyline and read between the lines to connect the dots.
Uhhh, wut?
Claire is Rhode's niece? I couldn't find this info
@@zoads82 my speculation. My deductions lead me to believe she is family, possibly on his dead wife's side. Go back to Div 1 and replay the Rhodes story. To me he is the man behind creating the AI programs and hides in plain sight. Claire and Alex Ortiz have probably contributed to the work also. Read Rhodes Wiki page and look at his Bio, grad from Rutgers, bounced around tech companies, then went to work overseas for PMC's. Looks very sus to me! It just looks too obvious that he is what I say, and everyone just ignores his grumpy conspiracy theory personality. Also in Div 1 at his workshop why does he have that govt (NSA?) lady there just standing and staring/watching him?🤔
@@emo6880 also if play Theo parnel manhunt he access his server like if tis a game
There alot more going on than just an outbreak now.
When I saw Diamond on this list I felt bad thinking who remembers her
Explain
I remember 😭
pls elaborate
I think the third system is the hunter system as it can effect the other two. I think Anna is a different system that "piggy backs" off the other three as Parnell stated in his comms.
Love the intrigue they are writing. Reminds me of early Jack Ryan stuff.
I always saw Anna as a jailbreak version of ISAC, if I remember correctly, Lau said "If you know how, there's workarounds for everything"
ANNA was originally made before ISAC but when in testing the agents felt that ANNA was too smart since ANNA used a more logical way of thinking. Ie: let's say you got shot and are bleeding, ANNA would say go down the block, take a right, there is a pharmacy, break in through the back and this medication and that. Boom your fixed. ISAC essentially will say there is a pharmacy so and so blocks down, you'll need this medication. But once you break in you are breaking the laws (since you broke into a private place) thus flagging you Rogue.
Started watching then realized this would include the Descent recordings and I'm still woefully behind! Will come back to catch this in the future. Thanks for the work you do with the lore - I wouldn't know what's going on without it.
Great video, that Diamond comms was a real eye opener! It was staring us all in the face this whole time! Keep up the great work.
We still havent gotten to the bottom of Faye Lau's covert infiltration of Black Tusk. Did she perhaps discover something once she gained access to Diamond? I'm still waiting for Shaefer to reveal what her agenda really was so her redemption arc can he completed. Maybe she'll finally get the cutscene she deserves because even though it was a nice touch when Benitez ordered Kelso to return her body I felt it needed more.
So picking through the information of the past few years from the books and the game I have a few theories: First, there is 3 AI programs; SHD, Diamond and another unknown, I say unknown because if everything I remember about Theo Parnell's recordings is correct, he was that type of person the Ortiz's were worried about digging through the garbage code to find the back door. Then used it to create ANNA separate but still connected with better security protocols. This would explain the ability to use SHD and Diamond tech and to be able to avoid Hunters. Hunters were able to find rogue agents not connected to Keener as demonstrated in Manhunts, but they could never catch up too Keener or his rogue agents. Second; I'll try keep this as vague as possible but hopefully @NGN and other lore fans, can understand it. In the novels (highly recommend them) something bad happens to the Division in terms of their duties. Now since the novels are based after Division 2 (give or take) I think the story dlc Black Diamond represents the exchange of authority between the Division and the Black Tusk after McManus changes the script. We know the connection between Calvin McManus and Natalya Sokolova already. I have a theory that in that echo in the coffee shop near the White House the unknown person tasking Baron Schaeffer create a massive black ops unit was McManus and Baron actually created the Black Tusk for Sokolova. Why you ask? Because the Division was created to save what remains and McManus doesn't have full control of them so he allies with Sokolova to create a standing army, loyal to them so they can re-create the U.S. as they want. The other theory is that the echo shows Baron being tasked with finding candidates for the Hunter program. Following my first theory the Hunters would have been tasked with thinning out the ranks of the free thinking agents, hence why there is so many Hunters just watching before the Black Tusk arrive. So I think the issue agents have in novels is because of McManus so that he can install BT in a position of authority.
This was definitely a revolutionary eye opener. Now we know how Isac & anna are made but cant remember diamond. I'll have to retrace my old notes
1. Explains how keener hacked the quadcopter. He had access to diamond. 2. A hunter is always following you in DC and I find that pretty interesting. Almost as if they have access too….. you know
I KNEW IT!! Black tusk, and especially btsu are top tier level special forces, and if they wanted to be able to take on division as easily as they do, theyd need there own AI to power all of their tech, its just been starring right at me the entire time!!
But what i dont understand is, ortiz robotics feeding all sides? Did they make all 3 AIs? If so, how did the division not now this? Unless Natalia, as she said, kept all of her cards secret until she was ready to play, and kept her presence outside of the divisions view. Did McManus sign for use of diamond as well for the hunters, but like a more advanced version? Or a prototyped AI?
All three are meant to be in the same side of the same token. McManus used the hunter protocol only to deal with Rogues not us.
Great video.
*My theory:*
Hunters have access to all three, considering the loopholes that are already in the system.
And they work for Calvin.
This is interesting because Sparkle has a new lore thing when you die to it in the Stovepipe Manhunt where the Flamethrower Warhog is a product of the Ortizs.
I was looking forward to you bringing out something regarding the Descent comms. I was worried I’d have to wait until you unlocked them all. Glad you chose to give us something from what we have so far.
They're SO good.... and just keep getting better!
@@NGN they really are. I’m not sure I’m in the majority because I like Descent But tbh the comms themselves would be enough reason to give it a run.
I should do the descent. Just started the game and just starting end game after warlords expansion. Should give that a try
I feel if the Hunters used their masks as the brick/interface, Agents would have been onto it somehow. Whether ISAC detected electronics inside of it or whatnot.
Ngl, completely forgot about Diamond.
I think this also explains why a few of the rogue agents were able to wipe out groups of division (Isaac users) agents without any issues, because of the watches record both geometric positions, movement patterns and other things then if someone like Theo Parnell, keener, even hunters found or figured out the back door and got into all three systems then, I suppose it makes complete sense and explain why division agents were bested in combat and easily wiped out, but even then Isac has a self-termination feature (which means the back door wouldn’t be able to work as it’s designed to remove isac from the server but allowing it to retain functionality such as recording position or allows him to remove access to his system by removing his data from the shared database) cause isac is explained as a self contained ai system and isac is the only one of the three that still worked when one of the shd nodes went down
Maybe Descent is actually being used by Calvin right now to show him how Agents are fighting, so he can adapt and kill them.
Or maybe he's using it as a way to recruit us? Think about it. Everytime we came across a hunter in canon terms we were just let go instead of getting killed. And in every situation the hunter had all the opportunity to kill us
Did anyone notice the deployable shields on the ground just out the entrance to the White House entrance with black tusk emblem on them.
Knowing this, would explain how Keener hacked the Marauder Quadcopter with that back door thing, assuming Diamond is a Black Tusk combat A.I of a sort.
If its tied to their skills, its not that good 😅 and it doesn't talk, curious. Or least we haven't heard it.
But im pretty eager to learn more now oooh 😮
Diamond: Black Tusk ( Yes they have the tech ) Anna: Isac but it’s older sister ISAC: Intelligent smart analytic Computer
I remember reading in Recruited that there were 3 servers of ISAC: North Dakota, Kansas, & Texas. The descent comms about the servers in North Dakota & Alaska (most likely the main controller of the network) give an interesting layout of the Network as a whole. I wonder where Silver Creek is next to? Considering that North Dakota & Kansas are part of the Heartlands of the US it would make sense for one of those to be the secret agenda of that game.
Silver Creek is in Western New York State, specifically southwest many miles along the coast of Lake Erie from Buffalo; Nowhere even close to North Dakota or Kansas.
We know that Division Agents are in Silver Creek to secure a seed bank that is there.
The years 5 story sounds more crazy the the past story we use to have
God damn this is some deep heavy conspiracies coming to light, Keener having possibly having figured out all of this a long time ago would easily explain why he went rogue too.
As always love your videos, and after watching this in my head, I can think of a couple of possibilities mainly. One, you're right that the three major databases they reference in question are ISAC (SHD), Diamond(Black Tusk), and ANNA. If this is the case, who was ANNA initially intended for ??? or was it just basically the testing/environment that they used internally, and Keener's group stumbled across it? Or what's unlikely there were three initially, and Keener's group found a back door and created a 4th network underlying everything.
So could we somehow access all three using the backdoor in Keener's watch? This works with my theory that we could potentially unlock ANNA at some point in the sequel. (3)
Interesting indeed, 1 wave anna, 2 wave isac, enemy has diamonds technology which we have some access to like btsu items, 3 wave hunters using all 3 technology to be superior, the hunter that was recruiting is the key to whats going on if the story takes us there. Great video
Remember when Keener said something like "you don't have any idea" first i felt like lets see. But now i must say that he was right. Specially when you remember in the last live stream of Division there was mentioned that we will "meet" Keener or Keeners story again. So this all makes sense to me and i have to re-read the novels again to maybe get an deeper knowledge
Been waiting for this. I struggled with Descent a little getting some of these comms.
Well it's easier if you play solo
Play the hardest rooms only. Rifle and shotgun are the best. Marksman rifles are an option as well. Shotty and MR are key for optimist (yellow). Optimist, unhinged, and cover base talents are great. No to glass cannon. Bullet hell, plague, and born free are my top three in the order presented. I only choose weapon damage after the arena boss dies. Fight from a distance if possible. Be patience don’t play reckless. 2 waves per room happens after 50% on the nemesis graphic. Hope this help. Playing solo is the best imo.
on a completely unrelated note you think the player might be a secret hunter we are highly skilled outclassing other top agents like kelso keener and fae being able to go up against other hunters and win we display no emotion never speak and follow orders with out question or hesitation we kill with out thought or mercy its a fun thing to think about
The recruiter and their many spy drones enters the chat… 😂 They’re definitely aware and scouting us. “What for” is the real question.
I like this speculation and brain searching
Ok, bit of a rant here:
At first I thought these comms were about nerdy tech jargon, but you proved me wrong. Calvin McManus is driving me insane, in a good way. From what we can hear, him and Natalya have been acquaintances for years, but these comms have proved he HAD suspicions about her and didn’t trust her completely, hence why he asked Ortiz for a fail safe against her. However, the comms between him and Nat back in Season 9, it seemed like they were basically best buddies to the point where you couldn’t differentiate the Black Tusk from DHS/the Hunters, what with the Hunter program, the “Deceit” operative and all. Did something change in the time between the Descent comms and the Schaeffer manhunt events/S9 comms? Why are the Hunters, who were supposedly created to kill exclusively rogue agents and thus aiding the S.H.D, killing completely legit Division operatives who weren’t flagged down as rogues by ISAC? God DAMN I love this story
Theo Parnell was onto something here and was correct. Now, it makes sense on why Kelso wanted him dead, not because he went rouge, but he was starting to know a little too much and wanted him gone. It would have made more sense to keep him alive so he can spill the beans on everyone and use his skills to take down the Black Tusk and McManus who I believe were the ones responsible for his father's mysterious death.
After re watching the manhunt videos I think of how some of the comms speculate about a Leak and Mcmanus having backdoor access to all 3 systems makes sense and potentially feeding some amount of information to play both sides via the network to fulfill his agenda.
hey great vid man very infomative, have you ever consider dubbing your vids in other lenguages i just think you are very goo at this you deserve a bigger oudience
I literally do not recognize there's an AI called diamond... That's why i need your channel and I will definitely following it to the end of division 😂
Thank you for this, I've yet to beat the Nemesis and have been wanting to know what these coms have to say
I see Alexander Ortiz, ISAC, and Garrus share the same voice actor
I need more information. 🤔 I think this is huge. The possibilities on how deep this hole really go's is scary.
After watching your video about the different ai and watching your video, what happened to Coney Island.
Do you think Keener made a trade for the scientist for the access for the other ai?
And try to make a whole different or superior version of the ai.
Someone correct me if i am wrong,(i haven't finished the video) when they were talking about how the systems have the same "root" and "if you have one you can acess the other two", is that how Keener hacked the Black tusk stuff? Listening to this made me think that him or Parnell were able to hack Black tusk equipment because of this
Either cal is involved with the recruiter or he is the recruiter. Especially if Nat doesn’t know about the 3 servers and the fact hunters can jam our SHD stuff
The lore gets deeper.
Love this, especially since I didnt like what I tried of descent at all. So getting a lore dump is great.
That sounds like a good season content story. Cal and Natalya are more biz partners that other things, but he and Mrs Ortiz work both for SHD/ Black tusks.
How did the guy behind the division not reveal all the data to Natalya to take the agents down already? If you have the advantages of the enemy, why not use it?
This is like resident evil 1, like wesker, using the stars, to colect Data from bio weapons and in the case of The division 2, they are collecting data for some super system
I like how Neon Genesis Evangelion also used 3 computer networks with the wise men names Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar and here you got Isac, Anna and Diamond
As someone from North Dakota. Trust me it’s cold enough.
A giant conspiracy is about to unravel. Diamond huh? I like that just like my in game name RexDiamond
im guessing the name of season 4 being named black diamond plus that being the dlc season is very much related to this diamond network
I think Season 4 Black Diamond is about us going to Brooklyn NY and taking the fight directly to Sokolova.
I find it weird that they talk about "Feeding all three into the same repository" and then then next sentence say "what about the other databases. Like diamond, its all built on the same tech"
Talking like Diamond isnt one of the 3 they are talking about.
So maybe, there is ISAC, ANNA, a third unknown one and then more extra databases not part of this deal like diamond.
Awesome video.
Ok, I might be a bit behind because I just got back into the division, but Alexander’s voice is the same as ISAC’s? I’m sure that’s not a coincidence but can anyone point me to the appropriate lore so I can catch up?
Go back to the first hunter video with division 1. Wasn't there a watch that went red...anna?
i really thought descent was tied in with Splinter cell/third echelon/fourth echelon, but i like how it is played too
So.. how does this tie into that one scene with all the watches and black tusks with Natalya?
Ok as someone who played division 2 when it came out and then didn't touch it until last week. Is there like a season recap? Like what of the story have I missed
I didn't even know ANNA and DIAMOND were a thing, I thought that ISAAC was the only one.
If you didn't know ANNA was a thing, you haven't played the Div 2 expansion: Warlords of New York
I think It would be cool if even though it seemed like McManus was working with Natalya and the BTSU maybe he wasn't and maybe he was trying to find out her true plans and stuff and maybe actually be on our side of course the whole hunter vs agent thing would have to be explained
McManus and Nat have been working together prior to the outbreak. Nats crew The Black Tusks were mainly a PMC crew that the U.S. government used for whatever. So their ties to each other have been set for a while now.
Are these audios limited time or can you unlock them whenever once each new one is released? I beat the nemesis and didn't receive any audio collectible
Is Alexander Ortiz the voice of ISSAC? Sounds like it ... Question about the hunters. Do you think they could be using a modified version of Anna, pre outbreak? Who do you think is suppling the hunter's gear? Do you think their armor is part of the lore? They have massive amounts of armor, seemingly better tech, it's far more superior that any agent. Or is that more about game mechanics and balancing than anything else?
It is the same voice actor for both Alexander Ortiz and ISAC. Regarding Hunter gear: I noticed on many of the hunters an icon. If you watch the original Division Survival Teaser at the end where the Hunter kills the fleeing agent. Look at his chest plate. The same icon is used on other Hunters in both Div 1 and 2.
ISAC and ANNA is like brother and sister.
Kind of.
I have a theory about the Hunters here maybe the hunters were sent after division agents so Natalia Sokalova could gain access to the SHD network. And thats why the hunters get as many watches and SHD tech as they can. The hunters also hunt Rogues so Sokalova can also have access to ANNA. NGN if you see this Id like to hear your thoughts on this theory as you probably know the lore better than I do.
The birth of The Rogue and Hunter Protocol.
We will start with The Rogue Protocol.
When ISAC was under development Claire and Alex noticed that ISAC was a bit too sensitive when it came to the actions that its user took, essentially flagging them for being "off mission". While on assignment an agent broke into a pharmacy after sustaining gun shot wounds. ISAC deemed this action "off mission" seeing how ISAC is a brown noser; flagged the agent and completely shut down the use of her tech. This action ultimately cost the agent her life. After hearing of the tragic loss, Calvin demanded that they "fix" this issue and allow the agents tech to still maintain functionality even when flagged "off mission" so this incident does not happen again. Claire warned Mc Manis of the consequences that could happen if the change was made. Mc Manis wanted it done immediately. Before Claire went live with the patch, she made sure that ISAC would vocally and visually warn its user of a Rogue agent near by. So in the end Calvin Mc Manis was the one who started The Rogue Protocol. If it wasn't for his actions Rogues would be as much as a threat as they are now.
Now...The Hunter Protocol.
Calvin always had a "secret unit" of his own and we know them now as Hunters. Cal asked Claire to design an AI system for his "other unit" and used this unit as a "clean up crew ." The Hunter Protocol was basically a fail safe for when the SHD had too many Rogue agents running wild. Within this Hunter Protocol there were 3 levels: Individual, Regional and National. When it came to the Individual level, Cal could activate a Hunter on a case by case basis if the instance that 1 or 2 Rogues needed to be dealt with. The other two levels are self explanatory, more rogues--> more hunters. But if they were ONLY supposed to hunt Rogues, why were they hunting agents in Survival as saw in Div 1? Maybe Cal was already up to no good and had plans set in place for the future or maybe he simply lost control of his elite group and they decided to stand down on their own ( as you've seen in Div 2, as most hunters stalk and watch from a distance)
I've got 5 unlocked 🤔 Updates, Contracts, Mobile Prototype, Ordered, and Security. Are you only covering the 1st 4?
The 5th one unlocked after this went out, and I haven't gathered it yet.
Ik this is probably the wrong vid to say this on but
Any tips on defeating the nemesis?
I legit got all the way to him, got his armor down like 2 bars and he ended up killing me. He just HAD to throw a turret and then shoot me 6 seconds later.
Give this a go: ua-cam.com/video/Yp_BkvYFOzA/v-deo.html
I use this method everytime, and it's only getting easier. I don't play much past the Nemesis though.
Update: I did way better just now, got it down like 5-6 idk and dude sniped me in the face in like a millisecond. That was enjoyable lol.
Will check out vid
Glad you posted this because I am yet to pick up any Descent comms. I'm just not as down with Descent as you are. 🤷♂️🤣
For some reason I'd never picked up on the whole ANNA thing before but it makes sense. But what I'm wondering is whether Theo discovered ANNA while digging into ISAC and trying to hack DIAMOND, and whether ANNA is the network the Hunters are using because they've made it so that it can backdoor both ISAC and DIAMOND. Because we know we use ISAC and Black Tusk uses DIAMOND but there is no indication about who was using ANNA. After all, most of Keener's rogues seem to still use ISAC with a spoof to make their watches appear Orange and allow access to Division Tech. Yes, Keener could jam and hack everything but that was probably because Theo discovered Cal's master AI which was ANNA. And, since we know Cal's watch was flashing all three colours, we know he is one of the few people to have access to all the networks. So it makes sense that he had ISAC for the Division, DIAMOND for Black Tusk, and ANNA as his back door into both.
But hopefully we learn more from future Descent comms!
Thanks again, mate. Appreciate it.
My only "concern" ... is this not just some retcon to give the backstory writers more room to make a messy end story ?
How do find the decent comms haven't seen any in my playthroughs
Each week, you have a weekly project of defeating Nemesis. The rewards for that project are some loots and 1 descent comms.
No doubt the Black Tusk use some form of the Diamond AI, they have the diamond as part of their logo. I’m guessing the average foot soldier only has limited access to system while their officers have more control. I’m wondering if this new AI is what is controlling their war hounds, mini-tanks, and drones. It would explain why all of their tech self-destructs after they take too much damage in combat; they don’t want anyone analyzing the wreckage and discovering the new system.
Sounds interesting
5:08 from ISAC ANNA and DIAMOND AM will rise
what if the first wave was mend to fail in order to activate all agents for the black tusk to find them more easily and if the hunters have access to isac that means they can see them live on their map
PS i believe this commos need more interaction from manny and kelso
Is Diamond also a hat tip to "Diamond Hard" ?
Keener directly states that he’s proud of the work Parnell has done to build them the tool they use, would that imply that he created Anna?
Not necessarily; It could be that Parnell simply just modified an existing system, and the modifications he did just impressed Keener.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 I suppose yeah, that’s a fair point!
Love the work bro
Perhaps ANNA isnt one of the AI listed as it was made by Theo but maybe the green one we see in decent is instead
ISAC- Intelligent Systems Analytical Computer
ANNA- Artificial Neural Network Assissant
Alexander Ortiz and Claire Ortiz from Ortiz Robotics are the VERY reason The Division agents have the fancy tech that they utilize everyday. But they are also responsible for the very watches that are seen through out the game.
Alexander Ortiz "The Father of ISAC" and Claire Ortiz " The Mother of ANNA". Although we have seen ISAC since the 1st game, ISAC was NOT the first system created...ANNA was. Which also means ANNA was NOT created by Aaron Keener, but was merely utilized by Keener (Did Keener know more about ANNA than what was said? 👀👀)
To begin, Claire started working on ANNA before ISAC was even thought of. ANNA primary job was to collect, process and analyze information. This tech caught the eyes of Calvin which saw this as a advantage towards National Security. But when it came down to testing the users did not like the feminine features that ANNA offered and how smart she was. Alexander Ortiz eventually talked Claire down to using more masculine AI and features but Claire did not have time to reprogram a new one but eventually designed ISAC.
What makes them so different?
Well in terms of difference let me break it down barney style like this. ISAC can be seen as a brown noser. Let's say you are shot and you need to fix yourself up, ISAC will say "local pharmacy XXX blocks away" but the second you break into that pharmacy, you guessed it you are flagged as Rogue since you are essentially breaking the law by breaking into this pharmacy. But ANNA would say " local pharmacy is XXX blocks away, look for this medication and these items to fix yourself. You might need to break a window in order to get in" but...not flag you as Rogue.
DIAMOND
This is the tech used by you guessed it The Black Tusks. Calvin tried to get this rolling in the beginning but knew the Homeland Security budget would NOT pay up for this since they were burning through money as is. So what does he do? He goes to someone he has known for a while and has much deeper pockets. Natalya Sokolova. She paid for and gave this tech to her field operators hence why on TBT they have those neat little blue LEDs.
So if you're thinking why not just use ANNA since it seems more efficient? But there is more to the story....would you like to know more???
calvin can access all 3 databases, is that why the hunters can hack shd tech?
the real enemy is the jtf officer that in a room together with faye law in div 1.
Classified gear is black tusk gear
What a plot twist
Who did the black tusk video 6:17
i forgot what diamond was lol
I know I am late NGN, but I thought it was Parnell created ANNA... care to explain this dilemma..
You see a lot of hate being thrown around these days for Ubisoft and their "meaningless" open worlds but I've never seen a story being told this way and so snappy while at it... It's truly an amazing display of continuity. As someone who has dabbled in screenwriting, I can say it's quite hard to keep every loose thread in mind so that it manages to be tied together with all the rest in the end. Sweet.
You only have 4 comms so far? I have 5
watch happen system 3
Afton Robitics
So this diamond was responsible for its operations regarding to the hunters then?
Cal and Nat are basically kissing cousins. But Cal has other ideas in case their relationship goes left
This kinda explains Sokolov brand being so powerful
I think we should have captured Theo instead of killing him
This is not really too surprising it's a power game. I mean why would anyone be surprised by Natalia sokolova 's power grab. The Black Tusk are similar to The division, but you can tell these assholes lack a moral code.
Bardon was the top guy the commander for the Black Tusk in field. From defense contractor standpoint, I smell a bidding war in blood. Bardon seems like a test dummy, realized it, and intentionally got caught.
Last season, Fred got killed, Nat thought she won, but doesn't even know about the mobile severs .... I'm thinking when Bardon finally wakes his ass up, the seams in the candy bag is going to fall apart. Natalya knows, which is why she's playing the hostage game.
Little does she know, agents are ripping her organization to shreds even more now....
Thank you, coming from a regular motherfucker it would be years before I collected all of these
Still... Can't believe they killed off Keener so early, not only they just killed the most recognizable and powerful rogue in the plot, his chaotic personality can really push the current situation to the climax, just imagine stovepipe's mission has traces of Keener, that would just make the situation ten times more chaotic and interesting.
Same with lots of memorable characters in the current story too, they just doesn't have any impact, Faye Lau, Schaefer, that True Son commander who helped us.
Literally introduced, and then killed off(or left aside) but I wouldn't expect much at this point now. Tom Clancy's plot must've used up long time ago.
we're gonna have a dlc explaining what Keener was talking about, it would be nice to have a new TD1 dlc or something to have more lore about Keener tho tbh
@@Daemon1995_I'm pretty sure that we are going to learn more about Keener in year 5 season 3.
All of this sounds very subjective.
@dragonbornexpress5650 that's because it is...its my view on the game so it will be subjective
Dude i want anna as my ai
We should have taking out fae, kenner and their squads
I meant shouldn't
I said it once, I said it twice, I said it a thousand times and I’ll say it a thousand more, Keener was right
