3:40 it is amazing to see both Nissan have survived, especially the pickup. it was driving through quick and the water was deep. these are the best proof and sound engineering.
I could smell that Renault traffic clutch from here lol
he revved it like a damn lawn mower
Got that learner driver clutch sounds
do not understand the driver's logic. higher RPM, higher risk of hydro lock. apparently, this will be a win-win situation for him.
I like the way people take out a soaked air filter and then continue trying to get their engine going. There seems to be a breakdown in reasoning: "I drove it into deep water and was fine until i did this. The air filter is soaked, and it sounds odd. I know, I'll rev it harder and see if that fixes it".
Slow and steady wins the race.
The marker clearly states how high the water is, the fact the sign is there in the first place indicates it’s a flood risk. Why drive through water that deep?
Did he really attach the tow rope to the BMW's front alloy wheel?
That was actually horrifying…
I did think that there was limited intelligence on both ends of that rope.
Balls. The engine is already destroyed. Let us not worry about the drive train at this point, lads.
@@JimWhitaker everyone who goes to this puddle has no brain...
The intelligence runs high in these people.😂
One thing ive learnt watching these over the years is never take a BMW thru flood water....lol ..
Nor a MB Sprinter van, air intake low down behind off side front bumper, great suction device!!
lol they’re always the main culprits 😂
or anything with a low air intake.
@@robertrich663the company I work for have lots of home delivery vehicles of various manufacturers they destroyed two Mercedes engines in one store both brand new vans £ 7000 for new engines lots of tik tok videos showing them doing it as well

I wonder how much in GBP/USD has been spent in completely preventable automotive repairs documented on this channel?
Gotta be over a million in damages, less will be repaired
On this channel alone easily over 10million last year when I was filming alongside ben. I recovered over 1million myself in just a few months 😂
millions or even billions
Millions…but it’s potentially educated a lot of people that watch the videos as well, so hopefully prevented potential damage too.
£187.89
The dog looks like he’s scared😂
Fantastic entertainment as always 😂I'd love to know what goes through these drivers minds to make them think this will turn out ok😂
Another brilliant video Ben 👍🏻
Thanks Tom 👊🏼
Hydrolock 3000™...the gift that keeps on giving...😮
Why was the number plate fell off the first car?
Smashed it bro 👌 and everything else we got yesterday 😂 so much you haven’t included
Thanks mate, absolutely 👀👊🏼
You could add a layer of hilarity by laughing loudly at them till they get mad and chase you😂
Yah canna changed the laws of physics capt ,,who cant watch me compress water 💦 in my combustion chamber 😮
I suspect what you are talking about here will be a total mystery to most of the star performers trashing vehicles here. This is England and I have lost count of people whose chest has swelled with pride when boasting they have never opened the bonnet of their car, and have no idea of what is going in there. It is very much a class thing implying one has a chap to sort these rather trivial boring details out for you. It could be why we see a surfeit of luxury cars amongst the terminated cars and not just air entry levels.
Lol 😂. no amount of tissue is going to fix bent valves 😂
Can’t believe so many drive so fast. See big flood must floor it. That poor Mazda 3, nice car that, or was.
I have one. It hurt to see that.
That was a sad sight. I have a Mazda and baby it. I don't even like driving it through big puddles...
I can see why. I think they think going too slow will make them stuck
When was the Mazda?
5:20 that Audi a1 knew what to do, makes a change. Slow and steady, don’t create a massive wave, and water won’t get into your air filter and kill the engine
Whyyy do people think faster is better? Water is heavy dude it doesn't care about your van!
First video dog towed the car 😅
hay que pasar en reversa, acá en México así lo hacemos y da resultado, salu2.
0:40 I thought the dog was driving then I remembered you guys ride on the wrong side of the road
We're fine you people do
Then there was trouble broken down vehicles 🚗
Alright Thomas the Tank Engine narrator
Obviously HTA knows nothing about the properties of water despite being an "expert", in hot tubs.
He didn't care obviously... Company car 😂😅
Is it a British thing to plow full speed into deep water? Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying the content, just wondering if anyone considers giving the engine air intake a fighting chance.
in such water logged situation you've to keep revving the engine with the accelerator to prevent water seeping into the exhaust . . . once there's water in your exhaust your stranded . . . best advice avoid driving through water logged road if possible, better to go around if you've to than damaging your car . . .
Ahahah....hot tubs....😂
I really hope we don't have a wet Summer, but if we do, Ben will keep us entertained 😁
lmfao i love that like 10.000+ camera quality "only" to film stuff like this
To be fair the footage is super crisp. I think it's great!
First one was trying be Canute but was more of a Cnut.
If you find yourself in this situation, do not try to start the car!!!
If it’s stalled it’s already too late and bent the con rods.
ngl, the hta driver is hot af
Very gay comment

To build a bridge - no
Toshoot a video of cars sinking - yes 😂
I like your video
Hmmm! Methinks some people don't understand they are driving a road vehicle and not navigating a boat!
How does an insurance company view this when you destroy or damage your vehicle ????????
Usually they won’t pay out as it’s avoidable flood damage.
04:30 I love EV
Incomprehensible. Why do people drive there when there is so much water 😳? Why didn't they build a bridge or similar, as they do in all other places in the world. What have I missed?🤔
The Renault Trafic handled this perfectly.
Fajna ciężarówka. Fajniej byłoby, gdyby byłby kombajn Zombie z Auta.
I can’t understand the stupidity of some people. It’s scary to think these people exist
4:50 your welcome 🎉
EVs and snorkel landrovers seem ok
We’ve pulled a few evs out mate. The battery’s have breather tubes water gets in them and shorts
@@Discoveryjamie that sounds more expensive than the normal cars lol
@@syrus3k It would be rare for that to happen to an EV. They have battery vent valves that are designed to keep out water and dirt. Water shouldn't be getting in and shorting things.
@@syrus3k they void insurance and warranty easier on ev. I defo wouldn’t recommend it 👍 it records when waters got in the battery and data logs it. Far to smart
@@MountainManGuy majority are around sill level or even where a traditional diff would be. Tesla also have a habit of floating down stream…trust me 😉
Cheers Ben......what are you doing this summer (when its not raining?) Love the dog in the Defender! Hot tub bassist got lucky. I can't believe that grey Nissan didn't flood out. Lots great cars...ruined.
Thanks Jon, there’s always plenty of thunderstorms & flooded bridges to document when the river crossings are low. Other than that I’ll be waiting until the winter again 😂

nice c350cdi with immaculate MOT history ruined
now scrapped
Brave little Qashqui ,
Incredible
Why do cars just go too fast?
And vans
they certainly think if they pass quickly, their engine won t suffer much.
Time pressure
You reallly _need_ to be fast, to make the Engine "breath" more Water... :) And more Water makes Your Engine worked better.. (at least, in the Past, so it possibly will not get any better, after that... :) )
1:52 the newest Submarine :D
4:28 국뽕이 차오른다 ㅎㅎㅎ
Does that sign beside the road say no tipping? What is that?
It says ‘Free Recovery’, it’s genuine & it’s what the guy in the white Merc was using
No tipping. It means no fly tipping, ie dumping of waste. A common problem in the british countryside
4:28 the fact it’s electric…..
Stupidity is priceless!! 🤯🤯 I hope that insurance companies don't pay for these stupid people that risk driving through a flooded road and subsequently damage their car, most of these cars are probably going to be written off because of the damage to the engine is so bad! Personally I wouldn't risk it, I would drive for a few more minutes and go another way 👍 I am sure most people have noticed that the majority are the snobs that drive their expensive cars through these flooded roads and if the insurance pays for self inflicted damage, we the peasants will pay more for insurance premium, like the insurance is cheap already! 😤😤 Use common sense please! 😊
Had he taken it slowly in 2nd gear probably would have got through the water. I can never understand why people want to drive through flood waters anyway!!
1:51 👍😂
Wring the air filter out. It'll be fine...
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉con la vidéo
I wouldn’t be driving a £300,000 machine through flood water specially when the air intake is at the front
Are you referring to the Fire Engine? If so I believe Scania's air intakes (P360) are located behind the cab.
@@okeythen7524 yea I drive a P280 and the air intake on ours is at the front driver side that one in the video is a P270
Why do they go in so quick!!!!!!!
Fast alle machen den gleichen Fehler, sie fahren zu schnell!
Wasse gelangt ins Ansaugsystem und Ende ist, im schlechten Fall, Motor im Arsch 😂
Once someone stole one of my dads company mini busses and plunged it into the Avon when it was recovered the Merc Sprinter survived
who in there right mind would build the road so it can flood but build side walk high up
Wow😮😢😂🎉😅😊
It always makes me laugh how so many of my fellow English country people lack common sense.
Knee pads for driving a van?
Flooring installers.
Electric cars are awesome in these situations.
All vehicles shall have air intakes high mounted to prevent hydro.locking.
Most do, apart from BMW and Mercedes
Pulling a car out by attaching a sling to the front wheel is not a good idea, he's lucky it didn't rip the wheel off the hub. What do these idiots do at the weekend , go for a drive in the canal.😂😂😂
Mazda 3 - top! 😂😂😂
Will people ever bloody learn 😂😂😂
I don’t think so unfortunately…😂, I’ll stop making the videos when they do 😂
😂😂😂
何故人は同じ過ちを繰り返すのか?
Thick as two short plants so the saying goes, people willing to risk it, but ending up ruining their cars and vans in the process, and ending up with a expensive repair bill.
Very clear water at 2:02.
When your number plate comes off, you've gone into the water far too fast.
I can't believe that drivers, take a chance if water reaches the sill its,not worth trying some cars, will be right offs
It never seems to be that deep when i go through Baddow. Terling on the other hand is always a decent depth.
happy that there isn't ANY ford on our entire road network. Guess what: we build bridges, or have a tube for the creek to pass underneath the road
Used to have SUV and wouldn't even know the fording depth as the manufacturer doesn't even publish that information anywhere, not even in the manual
There is 2 ways around the ford. On the map it’s kinda like the London Underground symbol. This Ford is in the middle. Double diversions just 5-10 mins extra. With bridges etc
@@Discoveryjamie and even if there are 10 ways around, we still don't have a single ford in the entire road network, even the most rural roads and fields paths don't have any.
@@EnjoyFirefighting they are fairly common here in the uk in the countryside areas. Not so much in city’s. This one with the fire engine in it’s around 5 minutes from a good sized town. There’s also a couple places on the same county that’s tidal. Completely cut off twice a day. No cars can get across
@@Discoveryjamie we have a few Hallig islands cut off by tidal floods in the North Sea, but that's about it. Can't drive there in low tide either. I've lived throughout several states in Germany, from large cities to smaller towns and villages far out in the countryside. Fords simply don't exist on the road network and at least some car manufacturers don't provide any fording depth data.
Working in EMS only our newest units are provided with that data; Thus our Vito is allowed to go through 20 cm of water
@@EnjoyFirefightingyeah vito sadly don’t do well in water. One of the most common we see. Granted most is speed related too. That false sense of sitting high your be ok.
More tattoos and less brains )))
I'm going to open a car repair shop there 💰
These people live in this
Territory, doesn't anyone tell them not to drive through at full throttle?
The car pumps water instead of air
thr doggie is ike HAHA I TOLD YOU
One car was towed by the wheel and something broke.
Есть возможность, развернись и проедь воду задним ходом, в чем проблема??? Зачем врезаться в тонны воды мордой где ноходится воздухозаборник
Y’know… people wouldn’t purposefully drive into a river, so I really cannot understand the reasoning for driving through such a flooded ford. Baffling! More money than sense 🙄
Тупость водителя управляющего рабочей машиной должна вознагрождатся из его кошелька.
Total write off
Does no one have cat sense enough to block off the road?
I would never drive my vehicle through UK poo-filled water. Yuck!
Ah so narmy
