That's not how you dip your headlights 😂😂
That’s funny 😂
The lights looked sleepy. The engine sounded like it will sleep forever.
😂
“Yeah yer air filters wet, but I’d expect that cos it’s been sat in three foot of water. Now let’s see if it’ll start….”
And the 2024 award for Leading someone On and Instilling False Hope goes to …
🤦
Funny that the tractors seem to be taking more care than the cars!
What most people don't realise is that the tractors cost more than most cars, and the farm workers rely on them, so they take more care of them.
You would too if you were sat in a wagon worth as much as a bentley
I think he was being considerate to the person walking nearby.
@@user-zh9ye7or8m That has a lot to do with tractors being built to rather higher standards than cars. There are plenty of 25 year old tractors that look pretty much like new. I have one that's over 60 years old and it's not exactly rusty.
@@user-zh9ye7or8m Are you saying you are seeing newly registered tractors? If so, why not say so. Have you checked who owns and operated these tractors because, increasingly farmers are using contractors for much of what they would have previously done themselves.
This is a sheep farming area and there are plenty of old tractors here.
BMW 120D great condition, 1 old lady owner, always maintained
Bring wheels 😂
Might need a bit of cleaning.
Looks like the BMW was stolen and then dumped when they got whatever they wanted.
为什么不是当事人死亡,导致车辆无人回收呢?
It wasn’t stolen, it got stuck when the Ford was deep and later on in the week when the water level receded someone stole the wheels
@@TomSunderland WTF😂
with your flawed reasoning I hereby invite you to join Thames Valley Police. you will be in good company.
@@TomSunderland it's got a big bit of metal cut out of the door where the lock is too, that was made me think someone stole it.
well thats one less BMW on the road.
not all things are bad
Tom and company giving back too the community. Helping the soaked content providers get their kit's back running. Outstanding.
The footage of the A421 was quite incredible.
Tip of the day: make sure your car has all 4 wheels attached before crossing a ford.
The faster they go the better the video! 😂
Hola Tom: Pronto llegaras a 100 millones de reproducciones. Felicitaciones. Tus videos son muy buenos.
Thank you 🙏🏼
1 46 ''There you go you've got your air filter just there'' headlights half full of water, I think it has gone further than the air filter😆
Gaz UK
That Beemer's been there a while, but I bet the rims disappeared pretty smartish.
It didn't look any worse than a brand new bummer.
I'd say the BMW was heading for scrap and it's fallen off the trailer or wagon that was transporting it. The interior looks like it was trashed before it landed there. Car thieves wouldn't have taken the time to remove wheels after crashing. It's unlikely anyone else would have taken them given the car is partially submerged and probably had locking wheel nuts.
That and it's cat is still intact, anyone nicking wheels would have robbed that too
Best Theory so far
The Kia owner needs to watch Chris Fix video on how to replace his blinker fluid. That blinker fluid is low and brownish
Funny
Did they really try to pump all the water from the highway in the tanker trucks?!
They only have to travel to a waterworks manhole that doesn't interfere with that drainage line that has the issue. There are several tankers, each 30,000 litres, it is effective.
@@Dr.Ian-Plect BBC said there was 72 million litres of water on the road. That would mean 2400 of those trucks. Doesn't sound very effective to me.
It said they pumped the water out. Maybe they just used the pumps on the trucks with long hoses to drain the water?
That 72m must refer to stretches not shown as well as the shown part. And perhaps the depth and dip in that road extends considerably behind the camera shot.
@@Dr.Ian-PlectNo, of course it's not effective. It just make it look like the council is DOI g something about the problem 😅
My guess: The BMW tried crossing when the water level completely buried the road and they thought the puddle would be shallower on the sides.
Then someone later looted the wheels.
Nah. Got stuck on the road, driver abandoned it. Water level rose and swept the car away. I often see comments like 'why would they drive through that?' Under the railway bridge by Tesco in Gloucester, I have seen cars pass, and the water rises so quickly that cars get stuck seconds later; within 20 minutes the water is covering the roof.
My grandfather flooded his Humber during the 60s. So he removed the spark plugs, and used the starting handle to “wind” the car out of the water.
If only car manufacturers brought back the detachable starting handle. Jump leads/starters may not be required.
At least someone will get some use out of the wheels and tyres.
and the door handle.
Kia was low on blinker fluid
Those old amphibious cars don't look so stupid now. Just keep one around for normal British weather. 😄
Top Gear Hover Van wasn't so stupid after all
@@Pure-Luck447
I totally agree. 😀👍
It would have to be a BMW. Some people...
The BMW is a great advert for ‘turn around, don’t drown’…in this case, it sounds like no one did, which is great…but a good advert nonetheless
That transit at the beginning was on a dpf regen
if hammond can get "oliver" running again
Glad to see the handbrake is up on the 1 series so it won’t roll away any further 😂😂
That A421 shot at the end. That has to be poor drainage or blocked drains.
I did see in a news article that the pumps had packed up and that's what led to the road flooding...
I use a footpath and a road several miles apart, both adjacent to large ponds, that over the past few years have become plagued by floods even in normal rains. The government has reduced or stopped the clearance of relieving watercourses. It’s becoming a PITA.
0:42, surprised someone's had the wheels off already.
Or the Cat worth more than the car
Wow!
I don't cross flooded roads at those speeds in my kitted 4x4. But in Australia we are taught that in primary school. Just saying.
It's the mindset of these drivers. I get palpations when I get directed down a single track road in my 6 series. Why don't they just turn around?
Someone stole the wheels.
When are they going to start selling hover cars in the UK? It would be a big business....
Better invest in water pumps or water pipeline to Africa.
Was that that bloke who runs North Korea he gets around
@@Another-U-Tube-User putin or Johnson more like
It’s Biden and his cronies!😡🤬 America still think they can police the world!🌍
0:59, at least they pulled up the handbrake. 😉
I see the blind barber has been working again.
best place for a 1 series piece of crap 👍🏼
Looks like New York City. If a car is abandoned for a day or so, within 3 days it will be a bare skeleton. But not to worry, that will buff out.
the belly on that bloke at 1:50 is immense, is he storing all the flood water in there?
1:55 that guy on the left probably floats if he goes in the water 😂🤣 nice hair style 2 🤣💩
Why would you drive into water when there’s a yardstick there clearly showing 4ft??
Indeed. Why would you?
It seems like there’s a lot of people who want to answer that question from personal experience.
"Why would you drive into water when there’s a yardstick there clearly showing 4ft??"
- do you see it?!
Is that guy thinking he,s going to help because he,s causing more damage, but lets face it, its knackered anyway
Ye can't park there mate!
I Think That KIA Has 💩 In The Carburettor 🤭
Flooded roads. The motor trades friend.
Vandals from BMW stole wheels.
You can swim goldfish in the headlights of the Kia. Aquarium
Bmw upside down looks like it fell off a tow truck.
Great videos, not upto the Rufford standard but unfortunately having a Ford in an area where they want it as a “private road” they shut the road off at the best entertainment area in Britain.
You would think that people would just check how high or low the air intake for their engine is, before driving through any water... its not rocket surgery 😮
Those BMW really don't like water do they, even the wheels fall off when submerged 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and those tractor drivers obviously own their tractors not like the one you showed earlier trying to jump an obstruction.
Well at least the driver of the bmw had sense to put the handbrake on otherwise the car could've rolled into somthing.
“There was no cars” - not exactly Oscar Wilde there!
That BMW was cursed or something.
At least the cats still on it
Anyone else notice the exterior driver door handle had been cut out on that beemer
Where that BMW is located? I need few things from it
They got the wheels by the look, surely they are not that desirable, unless it had new tyres as well.
Maybe it fell off a tailer on the way to scrap.
Thought they were talking about water rationing
1:40 - blinker fluid low!
If the drains were cleared then the motorway wouldn't of been flooded...
Surprised that there's not an environmental agency or similar that removes these from waterways. It's not really ideal for abandoned cars to be leaching oils and other fluids into fresh water catchments. They seem happy just to leave them there?
Car wash gone bad
How many dead in that car?

No sympathy whatsoever.
Lada cars can float.
insanların uzaya gidip gelebildiklerini ve buradaki su birikitisinden geçilirken arabaların batmasına bir çözüm bulamadıklarınımı söylüyorsun ?????
Ah, but space craft are built to go into space. Cars are not built to drive through floods.
There is a solution, it’s called a snorkel
@@davidspion9548 buraya köprü yapmak bir araba icad etmekten zor yani
You are asking the age old question.
No, you can't fix stupid.
2 24 I would take the plugs out before trying to start it ( best advice), so tries to start it with plugs still in !
You kind of feel sorry for today's clueless morons who think they are 'smarter' than advice given from experienced people.
Gaz UK.
Scrap yard Kia . RIP
All 🤡s
2:22 the guy puts a wet soggy engine air filter back in !!!!! Bro wtf get that out dude. Think you have a mask on your face you go in the sea with the mask on it’s gets wet and soggy your breathing is restricted due to your mask wet. Think can your engine breath with a wet engine air filter NO CANNOT. And your cylinders have water in them. Take plugs out and try to start engine water will come out listen to me don’t ask questions…. put on gas cooker warm them up and dry them up go back to car put plugs back and try to start with a booster for your battery should start.
