So none of you think about how he tried to destroy Jesse Ventura, and sort of did - a fellow BUD-Buddy and his disgusting lies about shooting citizens after the hurricane Katrina and a lot of other bullshit! I have been through a lot of similar training (navy special forces) but in another country, and i have been a big fan of Chris Kyle. But sadly he got a severe case of ethical fading - a self-deception in unethical behavior or something like that! but a really, really sad case! i dont even know how much of what she is saying is true, because she is still involved in a giant lawsuit because of his defamation of Jesse Ventura! No doubt he has been a very god soldier, and it was unfair that he was killed absolutely! but the guy needed help! i know he had a lot of good sides, but going through all the evidence that is out there, there is clearly something that snapped somewhere. ! i am sorry for the widow but i am also sorry for all the lies that is still out there, and believed by a large amount of people. i do not think she is a bitch! but Chris Kyle became a compulsive lair, and tried to destroy another mans life - an innocent man - a fellow SEAL! what kind of soldier does that - especially a special forces operator! and that need to be condemned that is how it is! And her story reeks of jealousy, she didn´t trust him and with god reason! he really took a giant dump on the special forces AND his wife and perhaps he was overused as she says! but still the truth needs to come out!! Perhaps the military is to blame by overusing him! Also that is an important reason to get to the bottom of the truth!

Taya is the most gracious woman I have ever heard. It hit home when she talked about vets. I spent 32 years in the Air Force but was no hero. I fixed airplanes, took pride in my job, and retired. That's it. No war stories, no news worthy actions no PTSD. Just a happy camper enjoying retirement. Thank you and Taya for a great interview.

It was made clear that she can goes for a year or more without going to church and that she does not "need church" but she does like to attend sometimes. That is exactly what depression and anxiety is from. I have never heard a doctor say something like that so well. I am blessed to not have these conditions now but I have in my past and That is exactly what it is. Everyone can beat depression and anxiety it's all about getting your body used to not being in fight and flight constantly. First off, Pat...what an inspirational interview with this incredibly strong and genuine lady. I remember watching the news as well as the funeral services taking place on t.v. for a week. Chris was truly an American Hero. I grew up in the funeral profession and have been a funeral director for almost 34 years. I learned several years ago through many families that I assisted, at the absolute, toughest time in their lives, that WE never get over the loss of a loved one or a friend or someone that was so very important in our lives. WE simply find a way to move on...WE must create a new "normal" for our own sake. But there is no set time to that redirection in our lives. Everyone is different in how they mentally/emotionally digest that loss. I know many, especially, widows of my grandparent's generation that never remarried...and their spouses had passed 2-3 and 4 decades prior. Sometimes, you find that one "true" love and no other can replace them.
Again, as always, fantastic interviews...you've got the gift...Keep Keepin On!

My 15-year-old daughter was killed in an auto accident with 4 other young people in 1996. I have since come to terms with it and with God! I was so angry with Him for a while! Now, we are on good terms!
God bless Taya and all the family! She IS an inspiration to anyone that has ever lost a loved one!

Med ret SF here and had the same relationship struggles that Taya described. She is a powerful/strong woman. Her faith and friends have gotten her through the most trying of times. I have massive respect for her. If you want a woman to look up to and how to live your life, regardless of politics or beliefs, she is it. God bless you and your family Taya.

LIVING BEING IS OUR RACE, MANKIND IS OUR RELIGION, HINDU,MUSLIM,SIKH,CHRISTAIN, THERE IS NO SEPARATE RELIGION
ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is the father of all souls that JESUS, MOHAMMAD, GURU NANAK, VEDH was telling in BIBLE, QURAN, GURU GRANTHA SAHEB
.. In OLD Orthodox Jewish Bible KABIR is mentioned...KABIR means (GREAT or MIGHTY GOD) in hebrew...but when translated in different languages translator removed KABIR word..... www.jagatgururampalji.org/en/bible
Quran written in arabic has also KABIR word....KABIR means SUPREME in arabic..... www.jagatgururampalji.org/en/quran-sharif
In vedh also KABIR is mentioned.....
      www.jagatgururampalji.org/en/supreme-god-hinduism

U will get surprised that in Holy book of SIkh called PRAANSANGALI…. GURU NANAK himself described that LORD KABIR is his Guru and Lord KABIR met him..and in GURU GRANTHA SAHEB Guru Nanak called Lord kabir as kartar (GOD)..but todays Sikh says that GURU NANAK had no Guru........ www.jagatgururampalji.org/en/shri-guru-granth-sahib
Just by reading holy books it is impossible to get depth knowledge of Holy text because we are just a living beings.. In vedhas also KABIR is mentioned...our brain isnot capable and doesnot understands the secrets behind the words and world.....JESUS AND MOHAMMAD both were aware of LORD KABIR but later followers were not able to get depth knowledge .....In bible it is written that Jesus was son of FATHER... then WHO IS THE FATHER?

Brother/SISTER LORD KABIR has send the messenger in present time in the form of SAINT RAMPALJI MAHARAJ... BIBLE, QURAN, VEDH, GURU GRANTHA SAHEB are holy books of Christain, Hindu, MUlsim, SIKh & all these holy books are suggesting one ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR but today preachers of different religion doesnot understand the secrets thats why HUMAN society cannot get full benefits from ALMIGHTY GOD...As a result more and more people are becoming non believer.....

They have a good communication chemistry. The flow is consistent and the content is meaningful and purposeful at the same time.
Also, regarding commitment I see people expecting their significant other to break vows to other things in favor of themselves but they have to understand that if a person can drop other things they were committed to for your benefit then they can drop you too. Know what they're committed to before hand and if you accept it you have to let them finish it. Too many people bait and switch, saying they're okay with something then when they get married or fully committed they want the person to sacrifice the thing they already agreed to accepting. It's good that point was brought out in this interview.

Fantastic interview. As a former Paramedic in Ontario, Canada, I can totally understand. In so many more ways than you can imagine. My father is ex-military, and this year my parents will celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary. So I can understand American Sniper in so many ways. And having been at Ground Zero on September 12, 2001 with 4 S&R and Cadaver trained dogs. I wish nothing but Joy for Taya and her life now. Stay Safe. Always try and understand. Inspiring and beautiful, what an amazing woman. Patrick said the word graceful to describe her, which seem to be something so rare and immensely valuable, and I couldn't agree more. A voice from a strong woman, much needed today. I very much appreciate Taya's perspective of learning from it all, trying to understand humanity for all its virtues and for all its vice, and how to become better, growing independently and together. If there is something I've learned from a few years of traveling and many kinds of interactions, is exactly what Taya said about trusting your intuition. And to go with that feeling, even if it means risking offending somebody, and even if one has given a commitment (like her husband had, and he followed through, so honorable, but sometimes we need to trust that gut feeling no matter what). It is not black or white as Taya wisely puts it, and the intuition can also be wrong (especially if one is anxious in my experience), but it can also grow stronger the more we learn how to use it, the more we learn how to interact more prudently. Thanks so much for sharing this story, and all this love, wish Taya, her kids, and family all the best, all the love
+couldn't agree more about the need for also sharing good news!
+the need for dialogue and getting together for making relationships last and maintain them strong, for however strong the relationship is, it is never easy, and it always takes work (again amazing the work and care Taya shows for other this way, so incredibly inspiring...)
