Got my pro a few weeks back. For anyone worried about the m50 battery, don't be. The board is crazy fast and can accelerate up steep inclines.
Excellent review as ever Ronnie ... & what a beautiful board! Loving it!!! 👍
Man.. you really put out some really good E-board vids lately bro!!! I think your E-board videos are the only ones I have clicked on over the last 3 months or so!!! Keep up the good work!!! 👌😂 👍
I love how brave but real you are Ronnie whenever you approaching high speeds.
awesome review, haven't tried out the Zeus yet but its on my list of boards! great video!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates the value of tkp and rkp at high speeds👍
Dkps are for chill cruising and alot of carving🤷♂️
Just got mine yesterday! Broke it in running out the W&OD out here in Loudoun. Coming from a Boosted so no real experience with this type of board but so far its hugely impressive and slightly scary.
How is the trail down there? It’s really crowded on my end closer to dc
@@RonnieSarmiento Its pretty deserted out in Loudoun. I live in Leesburg and typically ride west, and once out of town you can go miles only seeing a person or two. Its also the prettiest part of the W&OD (the high tension lines end in Ashburn so the west end is really wooded).
Hit me up if you ever want to ride out here!
Amazing video. I just purchased my Zeus Pro. Thanks for the information. Shred on!
Ronnie you made me feel alot better about my purchase. UPS should be pulling up any minute now with mine.
I bought an eboard with speed in mind but figured out quickly that a lot of shit can happen when you get cocky with that throttle so I quickly figured my top comfortable speed is around 30mph though I can go much faster. Problem is the huge variety of dangers that can separate me from my board and frankly, even padded up, if things go wrong at that speed parts of me ARE going to break. Nnnno thanks. I can cruise at 22-28mph, actually enjoy the view and ride a little more comfortably. ..well, most of the time. 😈
This. Falling at speeds of 30mph, while in the skateboarding stance, will most of the time result in braking clavicles, ribs, elbows etc. Recently got a Tynee Mini 2, my first eskate, and, while super excited about it, I can never comfortably ride at speeds higher than 20mph lol. The roads and sidewalks here are simply too crappy regardless of how stable you try to make the board be. 20mph on a skateboard is plenty of speed for me. :)
I got mine on Monday. Travelled around London for 21 miles, reached 29.2mph max. Battery still had 3 bars after 21 miles. Great board. And it was my 1st time on cloudwheels. I hope this board lasts 2-3 years. Sadly my DIY board (50 mile range) has died. Hence I had to get a replacement.
I think with proper care and maintenance it should last a while! At least ownboard is a big player in the game so it’s easy to get parts.
Goog range. M50A?
@@denisgomez1555 yes, slightly more expensive choice but worth it.
My deck is strating to show some cracks so I doubt it. It's not carbon all the way through
@@kemckelv mine cracked too. It's the cheapest, thinnest carbon fiber material for the money, and after 1500 miles, multiple esc issues
It’s a carbon copy of the Evolve deck, bar the basic trucks. Interesting remote finish and great call on the spare belts.
If you have trouble with stability using dkp, get tougher bushings. Experiment with a harder bushing up top or down low. I have gone 40+ on a well set up dkp. The way a dkp is set up, the board has more leverage on the lower bushing. This means that using the same bushings top and bottom results in the bottom being easier to compress than the top. You need to experiment to find your best setup. DKP can be very stable and still maintain amazing turning.
So a smaller bushing roadside?
just trying to understand what you meant by “if both bushings are the same then the roadside one does most of the work”
Love the review.
Glad to see how stable it is at higher speeds.
(My board is on the way and I cant fucking wait to ride it :)
I need this in my life right now!!! I just have to sell off one of my bikes and I'll get one. Great video Ronnie!
If one were to get a board, its gotta be this board right now. thanks!
You can do some weak carving with kingpins...and some real carving with DKP trucks. I just got an Electric Board with DKP trucks, and it feels like im actually longboarding again...although i do tend to keep my trucks like Daewon Song, as loose as possible so i can carve 2 lanes at around 20-25mph...thats my sweet spot for carving...and you cant do that with regular kingpins
Great review and great board. It is a great value for a 2n1 board and you get so much board for you money.
This plus a short board and you are set
Agreed. Whats the manufacture obsession with DKP trucks? Id take TKP anyday
The Pro looks ACE but i'd prefer it in all black as the anodised parts look a little too showy
just a tad flashy haha
I just got a propel endeavor pro 2 but this board looks like a great alternative for me
This is exactly what I'm looking for. Add a set of those big blue Torqueboards 110mm 74a wheels and perfection.
110mm Torques would be perfection
Even though I can't afford anything that has a motor this is very entertaining one day I'll have an electric longboard
I made my own by converting the normal longboard I already had. Cost 424 USD. Only goes 30km/h but it's still very fun to ride. You could do it for about 70 dollars less if you use your existing trucks and wheels.
@@MatthewAllisonSouthAfrica yo that sounds sick you should make a UA-cam video
@@MatthewAllisonSouthAfrica can you tell me what motors and parts you used
You make it seem like it’s car, get off your ass get job work for 3 days and congratulations! U have an eboard
@@MatthewAllisonSouthAfrica How did u do it?
I just ordered it today!! Hoping I’ll be happier with this than my BOOSTED Stealth
20 minutes ago I didn't even know these things existed. Now I want one. Great vid!
Just ordered it!!! Your promo code is $150 off not $100! amazing! Plus they have a sale right now which can be added on to your promo discount. So as I type this, you could buy the board at a discounted rate with a total savings of $350
Great video mate, glad you like it as well !!
Respect you going 37mph with cloud wheels seems like a death 💀 sentence, keep up the good content!
While new the cloud wheels have good grip, but oh boy when they wear in
Hi. Ronnie. Nice to see you wear Tk02 full-face helmet and Foo dog pads. Great video, bro.
Zeus and the Zeus pro are too good. 🔥🔥🔥.
I gotta say get an onsra! I love mine even after a year it still goes 30 miles at 25+ miles per hour.
Watching you in Speed Mode 3 and Turbo mode made my hands sweaty
Damn dude I was holding on to dear life for your life lmao. Great video man.
Just got the Meepo Voyager & its powerful compared to my other board, lookin at the Zeus Pro also, the Meepo is listed at 40 mph which I havent tried so it seems like for the $$$ the Meepo is a good deal compared if u like speed
Loving the knee and elbowpads design
Looking forward to buy this one time just gut the G2 black from backfire
Nice 👍
Loving mine so far
Hey, Ronnie, I'm moving close to Fredericksburg for the summer we'll have to ride sometime!
Fo sho!
Yo I'm in Fred too I have a carbon hadean and 5 other boards let's put a ride together we could do the bike path in downtown Fredericksburg
@@teamalexfam170 I'm down for it! I won't be there till early June tho. What's a good way to contact you?
Any new short boards? I know about the exway wave but seems like that product category has sorta stalled. Waiting for a company to do that well.
Im looking into e boards. Your the first video i e chosen to watch and really makes me want to get one. Partly cause I was a sponsored downhill long boarding for a while, and your reaction to the speed while entertaining, look up some techniques and tuck positions/stance and weight distribution for high speeds. It helps a TON for normal every day skating. Best explanation I can give and mean it in all sincerity and cause you are safe. Lean weight on front foot/truck, about 70% of your weight give or take, should be forward, right behind or up on the truck depending on how you ride and whats comfortable. Never lean back or expect an equal balance to be stable at high speeds. I know friends and others who have cracked a skull from a 15mph hill. Be safe!
Thanks for the great review on this board. Did you get the board with the 786wh battery or the 936wh battery? Ive heard that there may be some big time battery sag in the 936wh battery but haven’t seen anyone who actually has the board talk about it yet.
M50 as stated, and can hit 30+ at one bar battery
This board’s esc isn’t very powerful so the sag those cells could provide will be practically unnoticeable
You know it’s going to be fast when Ronnie brings out the big helmet
Lol when I saw max speed close to 40mph I was like alright I’ll bust out all the gear 😂
You should do a 2022 esk8 accessories video. I want to see some new products
Keep going the good job.
I personnally have the first Zeus and though it is really a great board with great stability, I'm totally unhappy with the range that doesn't go over 20 miles when cruising at an overage speed of 25 to 28 mph.
Damn really? How much do u weigh and which type of wheels are u using on it? I'm looking to get it just for the fact it has great range so reading this is kinda discouraging lol
@@dantemattybraps4050 I weigh about 72/73 kg and now I ride most of the time with the 6 inch 150 mm wheels because they are the best to me, much more softer and cushier than the others.
But last time I rode with the Zeus, I heard a bip on the remote but couldn't see in time what was the message. Anyway I had done about 30 kms at an overage speed of 40 km/h and the board was over.
I don't know, maybe it's not the board, maybe it's juste mine, maybe I have a battery issue ?
It's also ggod to know, I have heard no one talk about that, that the 2 cables under the board may have some disconnections from time to time. The result is that the motor linked to the corresponding cable does not work anymore. You have to unplug and replug, but it's more painful that you can imagine and needs to repeat the operation several times before you can get it.
@@fred4794 I had the original Zeus and I can tell something is wrong with yours concerning the 2 cables that disconnect easily. I hope it is still on warranty so you can talk with ownboard about that cause it is pretty dangerous. Concerning the range I think that pretty normal to get that much cut in the range with an average speed of 40km/h and the all terrain wheels. I think that's normal
Sounds like your board is broken or your wheels need more air pressure. The board should go over 30 miles.
@@fred4794 I have the same problem with my board. I've never gotten over 30 miles, and I use 120 cloudwheels. Where's my other 15 miles of range??
Hi Ronnie. I am torn between M50 and M42 cells. I would go for better range (M50), but some youtubers, say that performance will be better with M42. Does Zeus Pro ESC have different AMP output for different cells, or it is same? My question is - Is performance (acceleration, torque in each gear) same for both type of cells?
I only have experience with the m50 which have been amazing, sorry i cant help more
Yess!! They did it right! Traditional kingpin trucks! Woop woop! And all that power, torque, braking, and finesse! XD oh yea! Great job Ronnie!
It’s a well polished board!
Yo can you please review the eovan gts carbon super? I think itd be a good comparison to this. Ive seen other reviews on it but it jsut doesn't compare to your reviews
It has double kingpin, which I’m sure Is down if you like that, but I don’t
do you have an affiliate link for your safety gear? the kneepads are lit! 🔥🔥
you think i should get this or the new eskie p bee pro for college? i had an onboard w2 pro but the battery died so I want something better what should I get?
Evaluate how you’d use each board in a college setting on a daily basis including where you are riding and how you are carrying the board from class to class and then decide what’s best for you
Is this one better than a meepo hurricane?
*I've have several Ownboard and probably would have got a Zeus or somethin but since Brexit, shippin is like $200-300 yet free for anyone outside the UK lol!* Went with a brand that still offers free shipping. It's a shame cos the Zeus Pro looks 🔥🔥 and nice to see trucks that are not DKP like many others.
⚡🤙🏼🤙🏼⚡
Which brand did you go for?
*I love my 2022 Zeus Pro. One thing I did was replace all the bearings with Powell Precision. I loosen my belts a little too since they were super tight out of the box. It is a rocket for sure.*
Super fun! But not as fun as your outback tho! haha
how the hell did you film this?? what did you use!! its cool
Is it good going up hills though
I own a JKING jupiter-01.....top speed 32.....ima have to reinvest in this beast
how far on mode 2 for 210 pound individual with hills
Please testing the meepo hurricane..🤝
36mph WOW. That's scary. I've been 45 on my road back and that makes me nervous. How much do you weigh?
If you could choose between the Evolve GTR carbon and the Zeus ?
Not double king pin for me personally, so zeus
Dude help! This or the propel endeavour pro?
i see you rockin the nyjahs. Best skate shoe
They feel great! A little squeaky sometimes when walking though haha
Damn watching you ride that beast makes me what one really bad think I'll use my tax money on that can't wait!! 😁👍
Where are the more reviews on the revel kit
It’s a great kit for electrifying any deck. There’s a handwritten review
I have the Zeus. Love it more or less. 60mph is just overkill. I wish they would of made this board a little more flexible / more give. Off-roading even on AT wheels tosses u off cause the carbon fiber is stiff as a rock
It’s more like 40mph, and could be worth looking at some footstops to lock you in for off roading?
wher'd you get 60 mph from bru?
I agree, I would love to see a bamboo version but not like boosted. Just a little bit of dampening
@@RonnieSarmiento tyneeboard is coming out with a bamboo 2 in 1 and they told me it’s going to be more powerful than this but I’m not sure. It’s coming out this month and shipping out by the end of may

Hey Ronnie you should do a review of the magneto kicktail longboard it looks really nice but I haven't seen very many people do a review of it
just did my first day of filming on the zeus pro.. this board has it all
Im not sure how I feel about the truck colour but nice board. Iwould still choose the meepo hurricane over this though even though I don't care too much for dkp's
I haven’t tried it yet, but I hear a lot of good things about the hurricane
Meepo is a good board if you can get one without any issues. I perfer the stability of the Zeus tho, I have gotten wobbles to many times on the Hurricane.
@@Catamount19 you know you can make turn the dkps into tkps. Also ownboard a quality especially with batteries is not very good even with the new ones. Also the hurricane is arguably more powerful
Do you have any extra boards you’re willing to sell?
I've been hating on DKP since the jump. It's literally makes no sense for eskating. They work good for analog longboards while dancing. That's pretty much it. High speeds need RKP or TKP. Nice to see companies finally start to understand that.
What king of helmet is that?
how is the board holding up so far? how is the service?
that explains alot
Sir, just want to ask if electric skateboards is able to brake on a downhill road using the remote?
Yes!

Those elbow and knee pads look sick, anyone know which ones they are?

I think 60kph, even 50kph is too fast/dangerous for a skateboard. I'd much prefer more torque and range with a max speed of say 45kph. Skateboards just arent designed with safety in mind when going high speeds.
Thats true,it doesnt take much to make u fall off these boards & I have 2 sportbikes so Im use to speed
Mines somewhere on the ocean right now… couple more weeks I hope lol

1:16 i love how you touch every part of the board like she is your girlfriend.
How heavy is that beast? 🤔
My dream is just to try that board😍
very stable but the deck is so stiff. So my knee was hurting for 5 min after doing 21 miles. But i'm happy. (and i'm 54, hence the temporary pain)
where is the location?
Looks great.
Passing by people and with 36 on a skateboard is really "valiant". I'm riding my bike every day and people are always jumping in my way without a thought. I hope this beld drive is noisy enough.
Good one bro. Peace ✌️
Just bought mine for $1800. I can’t wait. I’ve been using the Backfire X2 with the upgraded motors at 33kv.
I used it the whole year and joined a group yesterday to ride all over Seattle.
I barely had enough mileage to cover it all but with a few good number of downhills, I was able to recover my battery to get back to my car. It’s also hard to go uphill as it doesn’t have the best power vs Zeu’s 3300w…holy
I will say that your speed can’t keep up with 90% of people (scooters and Uni wheels).
Hoping the Ownboard Zeus Pro will solve my range and stability problem and I think it will.
37 mph and rock solid. I am impressed. Great riding and review!
You and me both! I hit a rock at 30+ off camera and the wobble was minimal, my life flashed before my eyes and then i was fine lol

What shoes you wearing they’re cool

Best looking board in the game right now
Honesty, this gonna be my go to group ride board
my 1,000 dollar question is can it go over debris and stuff like small pebbles?
Good vid
I got mine Wednesday last week and broke my left leg on the Saturday, not a good start. I'd appreciate it if you could read the below and help me understand where it may have gone wrong.
I tested the board on the first 3 modes (1,2,and 3) and did quite a few laps on the same road which has no pot holes, no debris from trees or sand, the road is literally perfect. I reached around 50kmh on mode 3 multiple times and the board felt very stable so no need to tighten the trucks, then I put it on turbo mode, did the first lap but when I went to do the second lap, the back of the board started to wobble and span 360 degrees out of nowhere when I was at 55kmh so I was sent flying onto the ground. Luckily my protective gear saved me from further injuries.
Everything was recorded as I had my camera on which also got badly damaged. Surprisingly the board itself and remote didn't get damaged though.
I've seen UA-camrs post videos of their accidents where the speed wobbles were caused by a patch of sand, cracks or debris on the road but as I said the surface I rode on was flawless.
The intriguing thing is that I had already done around 5 laps at high speed under the same conditions. Do you have an email I can send the link to the crash video to?
I can't remember how fast I let go of the throttle though and I was told this can cause speed wobbles. I made sure I wore gloves which didn't cover my fingers so I could have full contact with the remote scroll.
As for my stance, at higher speeds, I lent forward a bit more than I usually do while doing lower speeds.
A lot of Evolve users have reported that their brakes would engage out of nowhere and caused many accidents but I don't know if this has ever happened with an Ownboard board. My Carbon GTR had to be sent back to Evolve last week(only 5 months old) as all of the sudden the remote would drop off the board and change the mode from GTR to Safe within the first 5 minutes of a ride which happened 3 times with me lucky at very low speeds hence I sent it back.
It sounds like a change of speed from releasing the throttle plus some freak out on your end caused the fall. Sorry to hear and hope for a speedy recovery.
@@RonnieSarmiento Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate that. Great video btw as always. Cheers.

Yeah, I agree with Ronnie. Keep in mind Turbo mode has much more torque than mode 3 which I'm sure you felt. Accelerating and decelerating is going to be more violent in Turbo mode than anything else, which can cause speed wobbles if you dont have proper control. TL;DR - stay calm and have a speedy recovery👍
