At Propel we are on our third generation of the Endeavor series and don’t have and never have had motor guards for the series. We closely study complaints, warranty claims and feedback. Endeavors are ridden off road in tough conditions and lack of motor guards has never been a concern. If your motors are mounted high enough and your motor mounts are strong enough and well designed, and you have shock absorption to reduce frequency and impacts other ways, motor guards are borderline cosmetic add ons. We’d rather reduce the weight.

I also think it's an interesting design, so I'm even more excited. It seems that 50S cells are the best in the current market in terms of capacity and discharge rate. (Capacity-5000mAh/Continuous Discharge-25A, Peak Discharge 45A) The upgrade of ESC seems to allow more setup with the remote controller. Summer in UK is fantastic, but it's humid and really hot here. I'm afraid of summer coming. Thank you as always, brother :-)
This would be a great way to get around town especially if they added a fixed T handle like in traditional scooters for proper balancing. I like that you ride it like a skateboard, but I'd still prefer a fixed T handle to help me balance. Decent teardown video. Wish you'd add a riding video as well.
This board was released literally 5 days after i bought the pivot gt. I wish i had known it was about to drop. I would have waited and bought this instead. PCB battery or not. If that is the same aluminum they used on the GT 2.0.... Well i have some storys to tell about the quality of that aluminum alloy.. it only took 30 days for my brand new board to be utterly destroyed from road vibration.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying In fact, I think this applies to almost all E-boards. Most E-boards support life waterproofing, but this does not show exactly the same waterproofing capability in all situations. In my opinion, I think riding should be avoided as much as possible on rainy days, even for safety reasons... Let's wait a little longer :-)

Hello. We haven’t verified it. I suspect it won’t be. We are beginning our own gear drives. First for Endeavor and then beyond. A board like this is well suited to belt though. Multiple gear ratios and it’s less designed for off road. More for street comfort and speed.

We certainly aren’t perfect but we listen and learn and always aim to improve. We have been in business now for half a decade and have seen a lot of other flash in the pan brands rise and fall during that tjme period. Longevity and stability are important. We still have day 1 customers riding day 1 products 5 years later.
There is a big difference in individual feelings depending on how the trucks are set up. It can definitely be useful if you find a setting that suits you.

Helps to keep costs and weight down for a street board and allows for more than one gear ratio. When you’re innovating you’re making new components and technology and that’s expensive.
You might be disappointed that each rider has a preferred drive. However, personally, it seems to be a fairly reasonably priced board even if a belt drive is applied as a board that uses new truck technology, a lot of CNC work, and a good battery. Thanks :-)

Quick correction @kami Juins : the deceleration value is for all gears. Think of it as similar to ramping in VESC tool. It isn’t only for gear 4.

So the ESC enclosure has air vents to allow water ingress?
Even though there is an air passage, there is no problem with waterproofing because it is a double structure.

As with all electric boards, some waterproofing is possible. However, if it is raining, we should not ride it.
