great video man, just one question, why does something different attract so many haters?? if every bike was the same, wow how boring life would be, if you haven't ridden one pull your head in!!, this is an amazing piece of engineering, these bikes are built with the frame around the engine, and they are extremely reliable. so reliable they put 2 engines back to back to compete in the land-speed record! ( Happening now) While not for everyone, I agree, but it is unique in every way! 0 to hundred KM in 3.3 seconds! not bad for a big girl! Just remember 50's 60's & 70' Triumph held land speed records & many American rode Triumphs..
Yes I have ridden one, amazing most thrilling bike I have ever been on! Just different that's all! Scared the shit out of me when I cranked the throttle! I now own a roadster in mat black, sits besides my big Vrod Harley!!
Haters just go and play a game on your keyboard!!
I just luv all bikes & where a bike can take us..

I sold my Thunderbird to a guy who already had a souped up Rocket III roadster. I told him the T-Bird was pretty quick. He said, "Ever ridden one of these? Take it for a spin." So I did.
That thing warps time and space. There is no excuse for a thing that big and huge and heavy being that quick. "Rocket" is not a strong enough word. It's absolutely unbelievable.

The Vmax 1700 accelerates like no other....the Vmax 1700 does everyfuckingthing fantastic. Just throw the cat con out and flash it gurued in the states .
The Vmax 1700....it's all the bike you need all the time. Luxury rocket....rocket sofa....it's for kings only. If you are in 2 minds.... it's not for you....all the 204 bhp of it....Yamaha says 200 bhp but it's actually 204 bhp.

This was my dream bike but I’m a shade under 5’8” and didn’t fancy balancing close to 800lbs of bike on my toes. So I chose my alternative power cruiser the M109R which is almost the same weight but I can flat foot it no problem. And at 1800cc with performance to match, it’s still up there. I’d still love the Rocket, being a Brit that Triumph badge means something to me, but I’m not disappointed with the M109R, it ticks most of the boxes, it’s got a fair amount of plastic ( panels) but with Suzuki reliability.I’ll try the Rocket for a test run (with Cuban heels on?!) before I decide my next bike though.

A friend of mine of similar proportions (roughly 5"7' & 160 lbs) bought this one, but unfortunately, for a few wrong reasons (*) - and more, he rides it the same way as I would ride my Suzuki Savage (or some really laid-back-performance bike). Quite a waste of all the resources, I'd say 🙂
(*) One of those reasons was, that he wanted the biggest available engine in something resembling a chopper a/o cruiser, and had the money to waste to get it; but this bike turned very swiftly quite far apart from either - it's a true muscle bike, by all means. As far as I can recall, he rode it only twice, in one of our group rides of three or four, as usually, he sticks to much more comfy Yamaha Wildstar 1600 or (fabled, IMHO) HD Sportster 1200.
I tried it only once (so take this with some reservations) - I liked the power going from the very bottom of the RPM spectrum, but for me and my style of riding (I'm a 5"7' & 140 lbs laid-back cruiser guy, enjoying mostly AT / SI / IT Alps with its ultra-curvy roads and mountain passes, for which I'm super-comfy sticking to my Suzuki VL800 since 2009 and opting to maybe switch to VL1500LC by next year) it's an overpowered, quite uncomfortable and sort-of difficult to handle at lower speeds bike; it was definitely great on highways, so I'd assume the A-to-B travelling would be OK on it.

In order to be called the worlds biggest motorcycle engine, you have to be able to build the engine yourself and put it in your motorcycle..... boss Hoss is not mass production nor do they have the engineering to build a motorcycle engine. They buy crate car engines and put them in their custom frames. Even boss Hoss won’t argue that point...... this has been the biggest engine put in a motorcycle since 2004, This is the second most powerful cruiser on the market. The only cruiser that will beat this is a Yamaha Vmax........ although I would not consider the Vmax a cruiser more like a 600 pound sport bike.

That's about 85hp which is around 600/650cc territory, and they are much lighter. You just don't get these bikes for performance but just to have excess of bike. Which is fine, its better to have many different types of bikes then less.

I have had a Valkyrie 1500, Goldwing 1500, KZ1300, Cavalcade 1400, ZX12R, BMW K1200R Sport, CBR1000, TL1000S, BMW K1200RS and other fast/big bikes. I have ridden the Rocket III and thought I would buy the bike. Get in a turn, roll on the throttle and watch that bike stand right up. That torque forces the bike to stand up in corners. The Valk and GW don't do that. The BMWs stay like a "bird on a wire" through turns as does the sport bikes, but that Rocket III is not as well balanced as other bikes. What the Rocket III does have is "bragging rights" and mid-range stomping power. So, you buy a Rocket III for "bragging rights and mid-range blow out power." Nice bike, but 29 mpg is not a good thing either.

You can tell you're starting to make it big now because of all the trolls on your videos haha. I like these monsters. Not a huge fan of the engine sound. Sounds like a little utility tractor to me almost haha. Looks great and looks like it rides great though. They should make touring model of these. (You forgot words of wisdom by the way haha) Peace buddy.

sstroh08 they do make a touring my model comes with hardsaddel bags fairing radio less aggressive forks and suspension and about 20 less that's the 2017 model probably different for this year. the hp has jumped up and down over the years readability has gotten better the early models had timing. chain issues

It does have a clunky transmission.. I noticed your pulls didn't look as fast as the monster name implies

Srkcycle, I owned two Bonneville 650's back in the early 70's I believe they were both made in the 60's. You know I had nothing but breakdowns and grief with them both. Are they still unreliable like back in those days? They sure were better looking back then, but very unreliable. When they were running they were sure fun little cruisers when they were running. I wish they could make a retro, that was mechanically sound.
