Loved your video from Düsseldorf. I lived there for ten years from the 70’s to the 80’s and still visit at least once a year. The trees you like are called “Platanen” or “Plane Trees”, but they have been cultivated and forced into the shape they are in. They don’t normally look like that.
That must have been fun to live in Düsseldorf for so long! We had a great time and can’t wait to come back. Thanks for the explanation of the plane trees, we saw them everywhere in Germany but had no idea what they were!
