First let me say that I absolutely love this knife (tiger stripes included). The issues you mention are things that have bugged me about many titanium frame lock flippers and have kept me from buying a lot of knives that I was interested in. I think that maybe if they had nested the liner on the G10 side it would have evened out the asymmetrical issue. Also the aftermarket may be an option for scales. Thanks for sharing this awesome beast.
Yep didn’t look into aftermarket for scales. Again not my knife just sharing. Criticizing them for the different thicknesses because that’s just irritating (putting it nicely).
I love the tiger stripes as they remind me of old ZTs and Striders and the different show vs lock side doesn’t bother me. I’m indifferent to the logo on the clip and generally like the 0308.
I actually own one of those. Tiger strips are just different so I kinda like it because of that. The scales being different thicknesses kinda bothers me a touch. It’s one of those things that if I don’t pay it attention I can look past Another cool ZT video 👍👍
Was interested... When announcement.. Now not so much,..$300 for aG10 350 style handle and a large 20cv blade VS the Kershaw Link 20cv for $80...29cv Aluminum scales... Slightly smaller blade. Frame lock vs liner... Want a beefy ZT? 350 at half price...
Never really noticed the different thicknesses in handles on mine and love me some tiger stripes 😀 Put an Emerson clip on mine and it looks awesome - no branding 👌🏻 edit: just had a proper look at the handle thicknesses, doesn’t bother me at all - although I am pretty OCD about some knife things 🤷🏻♂️
Will notice the asymmetric sides from now on when applicable, it is a thing. Not a fan of tiger stripe...just give me a regular blade and I will get on with it. Thanks Dirk. 👍🔪

I had the same thing on my 0452ti that even slightly touching the lockbar would make it not flip open but it loosens over time. I guess they make their knives with 'zero tolerance' .
I have the ZT 308. Two things I don't like about it. 1. The detent absolutely sucks. 2. The pocket clip, looks like a pocket clip from a swap meet knife. Other than that, everything else is fine. Thanks for the video my Bladed Brother 👍 ⚔️ ✝️ 🇺🇲
I want one so badly but the price here in Canada is a little over 400 so...nope. I can get the plain one for a little less but I love those stripes. I could get the ZT 0350 for a lot less but the blade is not as long and of lesser quality. Oh well. Have a great Easter and from Canada...stay safe.
Beautiful knife, but less complete and less practical than the ZT0301, and the ZT0350 is smaller... to choose, for the same size, I clearly prefer the Bökker "Plus Intention II" (folding) dagger to the ZT0350: more complete, practical, better secure and $150 less expensive than the ZT0350 which costs +/- $100 less than the ZT0308. It doesn't come close to matching the ZT0301 which was both practical, tactical and almost $100 cheaper than the ZT0308, which in my opinion seems a bit overpriced...
Yes, it bugs me. I don't care about things being parallel and I don't mind both sides/scales being diffeerent (I do prefer them to be the same materials but it doesn't bother me), but different size scales/sides bugs me a lot!
Why, oh why? Why did you bring up the odd sized handle scales? Big hate, and I honestly try to not look at them or even think of it. I will almost immediately get rid of a knife if that becomes a noticed thing to me. Yeah, not a fan

The scale would bug me too. The holes in the scales as well. I like the stripes for the Gibbs knife. I would flip the clip a use it lefty anyway.
The uneven scales cheapen it. Bad decision on ZTs part
