I'd like to suggest that you put your waterproofing on the wrong side. I'd do the roof, sides and sills around the doors. I'd also use 10mm gym matting (with the holes in it) for the floor. That would keep your tools and spares up out of any water that does come in and it would also stop a lot of noise. Just waterproofing the base will keep the water in damming it, like a bucket. I'd insulate it too. Apart from that lots of good ideas.

Wow mate amazing job 👏 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Fabulous mate, mind if I pinch a few ideas?
Hey mate. What thickness plywood did you use for wall and floors?
How is it all holding up 2 years after build? I’m looking at doing something similar with my new Alloy canopy.
What adhesive can did u use to to do the carpet to the ply mate?
Just a cheap tin of adhesive from Bunnings
Great job
Hey mate what glue did you use to glue the wall batterns to the canopy
Sikaflex
Yeah it was sikaflex
Are the struts adjustable ?
Where did you pick up your new seals and struts? I’ve looked around and would almost spend as much in these as I spent on the canopy.
Yeah they are pricey. I got the seal from bunnings but ordered the struts from eBay I think
Awesome video mate!
,can I ask what’s the best way to Measure up the angle of the canopy wall? For the ply
cheers mate! Honestly im not sure how to explain it but I kinda just choose a reference point and do lots of measurements haha hope that helps?
Cardboard template might help
Use a bevel
What carpet and glue did you use?
Both were from bunnings but the glue was just the cheapest tin of paint on glue
Do you remember what type of carpet? Thickness or rubber backing? They have heaps but I got no idea the easiest way to go with it.
How did you fix the ply and carpet to the walls?
I sikaflex'd timber battens to the canopy walls then wrapped the ply in carpet and screwed into the battens
Looks good. What size canopy is it? Ive got a twin cab and want to put a 1200 canopy on but am wondering if it will be big enough.
Yeah mines a 1200 canopy on an 1800 tray off a dual cab. I like the size so that I get room on the back for things
How does the sika hold up with heat
Yeah seems to work great
looks shmick dude, got my sub
Yew! Cheers
what carpet did you use?
Just some carpet from bunnings. I think it was about $40/m
What brand canopy
I’m not sure tbh but it’s a cheap rubbish one. Will eventually upgrade to something more sturdy
Nice build. What mm ply did you use?
I used 12mm ply and wrapped it in marine carpet. Didn't go marine ply just to save on cost
Do you have a preferred place to get the ply? I find it's warped a lot of the time when I buy it. Great video too by the way
hmmm unsure if you understand how waterproofing works...
hahaha yeah definitely not used as it's meant to be but hey it's definately holding up and solved my leaking issue haha
Where did you get the carpet from
You can get it from Bunnings
yeah just bunnings
