He did not turn to lay his gaze upon the goat-headed Kyriss, not even for an instant, yet Sanguinius’s sword left his hand with a flick of his forearm and it sang as it sliced through the air toward the pink-skinned daemon. The tip of the blade pierced Kyriss’s muscular gut with such force that ran it through, slamming the beast back into the walls of the bone temple. The creature released a high-pitched, ululating scream as it struggled in place, pinned there by the full length of the sword, like an insect of curious nature captured for study. This was done, on fleet foot, in the blink of an eye. The Bloodthirster was already turning towards the Angel, its execution of Captain Raldoron forgotten in the face of this new attack. Axe and lash flexed in brawny, clawed hands as it squared up to meet him. Sanguinius crossed the yellowed tessellate of the chamber floor, the cheers of his noble sons echoing. Bloodletters baying for murder rushed to meet him, hellblades red as hate rebounding off his armour. The primarch gave them little heed, smashing them aside or crushing them into the ground with heavy swinging blows from his mailed fists. Ka’Bandha spat and threw the arc of his whip out in a downward stroke. Sanguinius did not falter in his approach, his left wing snapping forward to cloak his face, meeting the barbed tip of the lash, blood jetting where the hooks bit deep. He hissed in pain but shrugged off the assault, closing to point-blank distance, reaching for his foe. The daemon was ready for him and the Bloodthirster’s other arm fell with the axe set to cleave the Angel’s skull in two. Sanguinius’s hands came together in a strident crash of sound, catching the blade between them. For a brief moment, the two titans struggled against each other, eyes locked, muscles bunching. ‘You came back,’ grated the daemon. ‘My sons found me.’ ‘That changes nothing, little angel.’ The axe trembled, shifting back and forth. One mistake and the blade would fall. Across the chamber, the impaled Kyriss bellowed over the sound of the Angel’s legionaries in battle with its foot soldiers. ‘Kill him!’ Ka’Bandha’s tongue flicked. ‘Your precious Legion will be destroyed, Sanguinius. Angel and daemon collided, crashing to the floor. Ka’Bandha released its grip on the lash, but it was too late; the brass cables pulled tight. Sanguinius gave the whip a violent tug and the Bloodthirster’s howls became strangled, frenzied barks. The beast tried to break free, swatting at the primarch, grasping at air. Its bat-like wings unfurled, the talons at their tips, scratching gouges in Sanguinius’s armour. With cold and lethal precision, the primarch arrested the wild, beating motion of one of the freakish wings with his free hand. ‘Only angels may fly,’ he said darkly, tearing out the black pinion. The sound was like the splitting of a great sack-cloth sail, and the daemon Ka’Bandha screamed loud enough to shake the walls. Warpfire gushed from the stump of the wing and it shuddered in agony, a sensation it had only known previously from the cries of its enemies. With the whip still coiled about its neck, the Angel dragged the spitting, wounded fiend to the lip of the pit in the middle of the chamber, then lifted it up so he could look it in the face. The daemon cackled through its pain, convulsing as it tried to shake free. ‘I will take your skull yet.’ The primarch’s eyes flashed with a powerful hatred. ‘If you truly do hail from the realm that men once called hell,’ he intoned, ‘when you return there, tell your kindred it was Sanguinius who threw you back.’ With a grunt of effort, the Angel took hold of the beast and shoved it over the spiked edge. Ka’Bandha’s curses echoed all the way down, before it finally vanished, shrieking, into the warpflames.

Day One You should check out A Vox in the Void's "Decent of the Angel". It's my personal favorite Vox vid and is from the perspective of a REALLY old Blood Angel, now interred within a dreadnought. He tells the tale of the day the legion was united with Sanguinius. A real roller coaster of emotions. A must-watch for any Blood Angels fan IMO.

To give more insight, the Demons of Khorn tried to corrupt Sanguinius, because Khorne originally wanted him to be his Champion rather then Angron. Horus tried to sabotage any attempt to corrupt Sanguinius as well, because he knew he would easily replace him as Warmaster of Chaos

Besides not mentioning the fight with Demon Angron, the fight with Horus goes against the latest lore. A gravely wounded Sanguinius was beating Horus, but Horus got a Chaos boost at just the right time, then beat/strangled Sang to death. The body was then strung up by demons, a trophy that would demoralize the next to face Horus. This vid must've been made before 'The End and The Death, Vol 2.' Good vid for the time, just missing some recent revelations/lore.
The Signus Campaign is why Khorne wanted the Blood Angels as his own personal legion before he was forced to settle on the World Eaters. Horus knew that the Red Thirst and the Black Rage would entice the Blood God and to be fair he was correct. The ability to immediately enter a berserker rage and also to drink the blood of your enemies was something the Blood God thirsted for.
Reading the end and the death part 2 where you know its coming you know what will happen to him but man fuck it hurt, the moment Horus grabbed him mid air and slammed him to the ground breaking one of his wings, man that hurt and even after he died the soul of the great angel between the 4 being ripped apart piece by piece was just fucking evil.

I think it is worthy to mentioned that the Blood Angel legion before Sanguinuis arrived has been called the Revenant Legion and are doomed to be purged like the 2nd and 11th Legion for their brutality in combat. They were sent to the hardest missions where they could not survive and was nit given enough resources for it but nonetheless they survived and kept on getting stronger. They were entirely shunned. When they met Sanguinuis all of them are scared as they thought that the day would come when they will be punished but to their surprise Sanguinuis ask each of their names, kneel to them and offering them his loyalty and service instead of asking theirs. That's one of the reason why every Blood Angel as Bricky said, was so gay for Sangy. Also after his death, the feared legions on the chaos sides whether it's the Night Lord, Sons of Horus, or their main rival the World Eaters run from the Black Raging Blood Angels singlehandedly turning the favor on the loyalist side.
Agreed but I am very happy someone FINALLY gave Sanguinius some respect. But they never mention the Tower of Amareo or the Spear of Telesto. They were my first army and will always be my favorite. Someone needs to do a Moriar the Chosen story. 😉

The Path of Nurgle by Warrior Tier is an interesting one as well. You learn a little bit about the Death Guard and how Nurgle's corruption works. I might be a little biased since I'm a big fan of the stinky boi's. To be fair though, any fan of Nurgle is a big fan, lol.
Been loving going through your learning 40k playlist & seeing your passion for the craft ~ Idk if anyone else has suggested so, but the channel The Amber King has some pretty well-narrated videos akin to this one, usually focusing on the whole breadth of lore surrounding a specific character, Chaos, Renegade or Loyalist. He even has one on Erebus. I'd totally recommend checking out their channel to continue your upwards climb to understanding the lore 💙💚
So we saw the story of the most beloved primarch, the angel sanguinus by Warrior tear. But there is another story left about an Angel, telled by Warrior tier. Its about the Red Angel Angron and the most dramatic and saddest fall of all entire Legions.
The Primarchs are not necessarily super humans. They are vessels for warp beings of light. This is why each of them has specific virtues aligned with the Emperor from the warp itself. The warp is not only filled with chaos, although the majority of human emotion is inclined towards chaos. Sanguinius is my favourite Primarch, the ultimate balance between goodness and righteous rage.
The Amber King also has great Primarch videos. Vox in the void does too. A great Sanguinius video you should react to is called ‘The Descent of an Angel’ by Vox in the Void. Warrior Tier is also good, he makes good videos too for sure.
One last thing as i finished watching this. The lore of thee nd of the heresy has changed. Sanguinius' body after his death was defiled by demons. Horus's soul is intact. Both of them could return at some point. Also after the Tyranid invasion of Baal most of the "true" blood angels died, only a few hundred survived out of tens of thousands. The Blood Angels now are mainly Primaris marines, who don't have the curses the old ones had. Some old blood angels don't even consider them as true blood angels because of this, because that's what make the Blood Angels.
Just watched this one the other day because it's one of my favorites of Warrior Tier. I'm so glad she's watching it. "Sanguinius stood for the might of the Imperium, He embodied the guiding light of humanity", imagine if Sanguinius had survived to lead humanity in the Emperor's Stead. We'd be living in the best timeline.
Precious Hawkboi was too kind and good to be alive in the grimdarkness of 40k Respected and loved by almost all, maybe not the best at everything but close to the second best at everything making him amazing, and still didn't let it go to his head. He was created to inspire the people of the Imperioum and even his brothers. In the darkest hours of the siege of Terra he kept the flame of hope alive in all those under the primarchs commands. He even made Dorn shed tears when he died Love Sangui and the BA 45:01 that's honestly a blessing disguised as a curse, he knew his own fate so no matter how defeated he looked he knew he wasn't going to die there, that's why he kept pushing
Sanguinius, the great angel loved by all the Imperium for when all gazed upon him hope was brought to them. The greatest & most loved of the primarchs and loved most by his sons the Blood Angels. Check out Commander Dante chapter master of the Blood Angels & the oldest living space marine. Dante is old & tired and just wants to die but the spirit of Sanguinius says no, no my son not yet; your too important to die yet need you to keep the chapter together & fight for the Imperium.
@@ryanomalley3705 The only problem of this video is that they forgot to mention that Angron before nails had psychic power to heal by touch, making his comrades calm and rested, banishing both physical and mental pain. So he would be akin to Vulkan, but intensified version. Their interesting and warm relations with Lorgar are also dismissed in this vid
Horus Heresy was first namedropped I think during Rogue Trader, but it was clearly just a random name back then. But they kept referencing something called the Horus heresy and someone called Horus, and in the late 90s they fleshed it out. When 40k launched, Primarchs were not a thing, or it was just a weird title The Space Wolf leader Leman Russ had. Because Leman Russ was just the marine that happened to be the Space Wolf leader back then.
Yeah as the baby primarchs were taken from the emperor they were cast across the galaxy traveling through the warp.. and in being in contact with the warp some of them became afflicted to some degree... Sanguinius grew wings etc...

White Dwarf 52 1990. That is when the Horus Heresy was finalised in to a single short story' and the real 40k started. The end of the Heresy was told then told and that Sanguinius died. Only after the books started was it fleshed out. Before that issue the whole 40k was in it's infancy and only being put together. I started my journey as a kid in late 93 and was introduced to it all.
Baldermort Steel Legion seems appropriate as you are Polish lol Best boi Ollanius Pius is worth checking out. Only human but immortal as a friend of the Emporer. His sacrifice was missing from this video, as having a normal human stand up to Horus made the Emperor realise how far things had gone 🙃
Just to let you know, the battle at the end of the siege of terra between the emperor and horus has been slightly retconned in the new horus heresy books. This is the older lore before those were written.
If you like this you should give the horus heresy audiobooks a go. The first book Horus Rising is epic the opening line is goosebumps enducing 'I was there the day Horus slew the emperor'. Genuinely amazing novels

19:20 The reason why the heresy happened is Horus just wanted to stay close to the Emperor. He felt overwhelmed after the Emperor left Horus alone and made him warmaster. The chaos gods exploited that weakness and Erebus (F that guy) the puppet of the chaos gods showed Horus false future to make the Emperor a liar in Horus' eyes (meanwhile that future became true because of the heresy). It is still unclear though why the Emperor acted they way he did, we speculate he foresaw this future and let it fold out to play the longer game where he triumphs against the chaos gods.
You should watch the very first humans in Warhammer 40k though and they were Sons of Sigmar before the Emperor of Man rose into power and it was called Warhammer 40k: Mark of Chaos.

35:55 the blood angels are real vampires. They have two curses. The black rage and the red thirst. The red thirst is when they fight and see some blood they become thirsty for blood. When they truly give in to the red thirst, they would rip ally humans into pieces and drink their blood they also mutate. Even if they are don't fall to the red thirst they would drink some blood with wine. They are the real vampires.

The primarch dove at the Bloodthirster, dragging the lash with down him, and before the creature could react, he pulled the whip into a loop across the howling monster’s throat.
Angel and daemon collided, crashing to the floor. Ka’Bandha released its grip on the lash, but it was too late; the brass cables pulled tight. Sanguinius gave the whip a violent tug and the Bloodthirster’s howls became strangled, frenzied barks.
The beast tried to break free, swatting at the primarch, grasping at air. Its bat-like wings unfurled, the talons at their tips, scratching gouges in Sanguinius’s armour. With cold and lethal precision, the primarch arrested the wild, beating motion of one of the freakish wings with his free hand. ‘Only angels may fly,’ he said darkly, tearing out the black pinion. The sound was like the splitting of a great sack-cloth sail, and the daemon Ka’Bandha screamed loud enough to shake the walls. Warpfire gushed from the stump of the wing and it shuddered in agony, a sensation it had only known previously from the cries of its enemies.
With the whip still coiled about its neck, the Angel dragged the spitting, wounded fiend to the lip of the pit in the middle of the chamber, then lifted it up so he could look it in the face. The daemon cackled through its pain, convulsing as it tried to shake free. ‘I will take your skull yet.’
The primarch’s eyes flashed with a powerful hatred. ‘If you truly do hail from the realm that men once called hell,’ he intoned, ‘when you return there, tell your kindred it was Sanguinius who threw you back.’ With a grunt of effort, the Angel took hold of the beast and shoved it over the spiked edge. Ka’Bandha’s curses echoed all the way down, before it finally vanished, shrieking, into the warpflames.

You should check out A Vox in the Void's "Decent of the Angel". It's my personal favorite Vox vid and is from the perspective of a REALLY old Blood Angel, now interred within a dreadnought. He tells the tale of the day the legion was united with Sanguinius. A real roller coaster of emotions. A must-watch for any Blood Angels fan IMO.

To give more insight, the Demons of Khorn tried to corrupt Sanguinius, because Khorne originally wanted him to be his Champion rather then Angron.
Horus tried to sabotage any attempt to corrupt Sanguinius as well, because he knew he would easily replace him as Warmaster of Chaos

Besides not mentioning the fight with Demon Angron, the fight with Horus goes against the latest lore. A gravely wounded Sanguinius was beating Horus, but Horus got a Chaos boost at just the right time, then beat/strangled Sang to death. The body was then strung up by demons, a trophy that would demoralize the next to face Horus. This vid must've been made before 'The End and The Death, Vol 2.' Good vid for the time, just missing some recent revelations/lore.
The Signus Campaign is why Khorne wanted the Blood Angels as his own personal legion before he was forced to settle on the World Eaters. Horus knew that the Red Thirst and the Black Rage would entice the Blood God and to be fair he was correct. The ability to immediately enter a berserker rage and also to drink the blood of your enemies was something the Blood God thirsted for.
Reading the end and the death part 2 where you know its coming you know what will happen to him but man fuck it hurt, the moment Horus grabbed him mid air and slammed him to the ground breaking one of his wings, man that hurt and even after he died the soul of the great angel between the 4 being ripped apart piece by piece was just fucking evil.

I think it is worthy to mentioned that the Blood Angel legion before Sanguinuis arrived has been called the Revenant Legion and are doomed to be purged like the 2nd and 11th Legion for their brutality in combat. They were sent to the hardest missions where they could not survive and was nit given enough resources for it but nonetheless they survived and kept on getting stronger. They were entirely shunned. When they met Sanguinuis all of them are scared as they thought that the day would come when they will be punished but to their surprise Sanguinuis ask each of their names, kneel to them and offering them his loyalty and service instead of asking theirs. That's one of the reason why every Blood Angel as Bricky said, was so gay for Sangy.
Also after his death, the feared legions on the chaos sides whether it's the Night Lord, Sons of Horus, or their main rival the World Eaters run from the Black Raging Blood Angels singlehandedly turning the favor on the loyalist side.

Idk if anyone else has suggested so, but the channel The Amber King has some pretty well-narrated videos akin to this one, usually focusing on the whole breadth of lore surrounding a specific character, Chaos, Renegade or Loyalist. He even has one on Erebus. I'd totally recommend checking out their channel to continue your upwards climb to understanding the lore

So we saw the story of the most beloved primarch, the angel sanguinus by Warrior tear. But there is another story left about an Angel, telled by Warrior tier. Its about the Red Angel Angron and the most dramatic and saddest fall of all entire Legions.

The Primarchs are not necessarily super humans. They are vessels for warp beings of light. This is why each of them has specific virtues aligned with the Emperor from the warp itself. The warp is not only filled with chaos, although the majority of human emotion is inclined towards chaos. Sanguinius is my favourite Primarch, the ultimate balance between goodness and righteous rage.
Its cool to see people react to lore they don't know. I can tell you are a 40k fan now and that's rad 😆

One last thing as i finished watching this. The lore of thee nd of the heresy has changed. Sanguinius' body after his death was defiled by demons. Horus's soul is intact. Both of them could return at some point. Also after the Tyranid invasion of Baal most of the "true" blood angels died, only a few hundred survived out of tens of thousands. The Blood Angels now are mainly Primaris marines, who don't have the curses the old ones had. Some old blood angels don't even consider them as true blood angels because of this, because that's what make the Blood Angels.
There's been hints that the flaws in each legion were placed there on purpose.
The Primaris Blood Angel's will succumb in time. They cannot escape.

Respected and loved by almost all, maybe not the best at everything but close to the second best at everything making him amazing, and still didn't let it go to his head. He was created to inspire the people of the Imperioum and even his brothers. In the darkest hours of the siege of Terra he kept the flame of hope alive in all those under the primarchs commands. He even made Dorn shed tears when he died

Sanguinius, the great angel loved by all the Imperium for when all gazed upon him hope was brought to them. The greatest & most loved of the primarchs and loved most by his sons the Blood Angels. Check out Commander Dante chapter master of the Blood Angels & the oldest living space marine. Dante is old & tired and just wants to die but the spirit of Sanguinius says no, no my son not yet; your too important to die yet need you to keep the chapter together & fight for the Imperium.

So he would be akin to Vulkan, but intensified version. Their interesting and warm relations with Lorgar are also dismissed in this vid

Horus Heresy was first namedropped I think during Rogue Trader, but it was clearly just a random name back then. But they kept referencing something called the Horus heresy and someone called Horus, and in the late 90s they fleshed it out. When 40k launched, Primarchs were not a thing, or it was just a weird title The Space Wolf leader Leman Russ had. Because Leman Russ was just the marine that happened to be the Space Wolf leader back then.
Yeah as the baby primarchs were taken from the emperor they were cast across the galaxy traveling through the warp.. and in being in contact with the warp some of them became afflicted to some degree... Sanguinius grew wings etc...
That was epic.

To be fair I have some personal bias here as it was the Blood Angels that were the first ever 40k factions to catch my attention when I was a little nipper......though I did move on to Dark Angels after 🤫
White Dwarf 52 1990. That is when the Horus Heresy was finalised in to a single short story' and the real 40k started. The end of the Heresy was told then told and that Sanguinius died. Only after the books started was it fleshed out. Before that issue the whole 40k was in it's infancy and only being put together. I started my journey as a kid in late 93 and was introduced to it all.

Just to let you know, the battle at the end of the siege of terra between the emperor and horus has been slightly retconned in the new horus heresy books. This is the older lore before those were written.
If you like this you should give the horus heresy audiobooks a go. The first book Horus Rising is epic the opening line is goosebumps enducing 'I was there the day Horus slew the emperor'. Genuinely amazing novels

The lore changed with the end of the death part 3, the Emperor showed no mercy when he fought Horus but he did forgave him in the end.

19:20 The reason why the heresy happened is Horus just wanted to stay close to the Emperor. He felt overwhelmed after the Emperor left Horus alone and made him warmaster. The chaos gods exploited that weakness and Erebus (F that guy) the puppet of the chaos gods showed Horus false future to make the Emperor a liar in Horus' eyes (meanwhile that future became true because of the heresy). It is still unclear though why the Emperor acted they way he did, we speculate he foresaw this future and let it fold out to play the longer game where he triumphs against the chaos gods.

Horus fight was retconned. There is no crack in his armor in the new lore. Emperor goes Dark King, basically starts to turn in to the 5th warp god.
You should watch the very first humans in Warhammer 40k though and they were Sons of Sigmar before the Emperor of Man rose into power and it was called Warhammer 40k: Mark of Chaos.

35:55 the blood angels are real vampires. They have two curses. The black rage and the red thirst. The red thirst is when they fight and see some blood they become thirsty for blood. When they truly give in to the red thirst, they would rip ally humans into pieces and drink their blood they also mutate. Another fun fact The Blood Angels before Sanguinius was found were worse then the World eaters believe it or not and it was Sanguinius that helped them become the great legion that they are
