He doesn't have a human brain as far as i know in one ova we saw his brain made from electrical devices
Although as he’s gotten more damaged and powerful over the series he has been progressively becoming less and less human.
Yea it would’ve made him a robot if saitama didn’t time traveled in the manga but since he did Genos got to be remain human

Genos' problem is that he bites off more than he can chew. He's strong, but he tries too hard to go after super-powerful monsters.
since he want catch up to saitama. he had no idea than burst his full power at stronger enemy, with a body of cyborg. if his body broke, he can just upgrade more.
saitama himself did the same, but we dont know the detailed how he get to that point. saitama only explain his training and fighting strong enemy afterall
Sea freak or whatever, hit Saitama hard enough to cause a shock wave and pause the rain. Saitama's hit cleared the clouds.
Saitama gave up what he wanted, recognition, for the other heroes. Sure he can't get hurt, but he did sacrifice his own wants for others.
Usually every one calls upon Mumen rider after this episode but most forget to realize that besides Mumen being the embodiment of a true hero but Saitama was also there 💔
True! People don't understand how admirable what Saitama did actually. They also forget that Genos literally used his body as shield for a little girl fully knowing that acid spit would melts his metal body. Everything are overshadowed just bc Mumen is the only one who shout his speech out loud.
The thing is Mumen is only a C class unlike Genos. Knowing the difference in power between Saitama, Genos, and Mumen is why people think this is a Mumen W moment.
Saitama’s sacrifice is the very reason it is my favourite episode of the season ❤️But it’s true though most people don’t realize Saitama’s noble deed.😕

Genos deserves to be in Class S because he is actually really strong, it's just that the threats he tends to go after are Dragon level, which typically require 2-3 S class heroes to defeat (excluding Tatsumaki).

@@MrRagston Yes, it sometimes hurts. But thats just what his reaction is to it. We really cant control how anyone should react to anything. Its their video. Sometimes, people react wrongly, innapropriately, or something we didnt expect from them, and thats ok. Sometimes people are just trying to find humor in some stuff. I can see why he laughed at it, and thats ok as well. Although it is messed up to laugh at things like that, its just a fictional show and its not really a serious matter. Not everything that we want to turn out or happen should happen.

Mumen Rider did save Genos. If he had not distracted the Sea King, then the Sea King would have finished off Genos.
While tiny jokey superficial part of Saitama wants the credit and money, the greater part of him doesn't care about credit and adoration. He became a hero as a hobby. I often feel people overlook just what this means, and tend to view Saitama as not taking the hero thing seriously.. when its kind of the opposite.. People get passionate about hobbies and usually don't do them for profit.. Often he opposite result tends to apply as they sacrifice their own profit and time to pursue their hobby. Sooooo Saitama is a hero, not for the fame profit or glory, and not even for a good fight as much as he really wants one. He's a hero because being a hero is what drives him and is a passion. He will sacrifice himself and his reputation if it comes down to it, because he's a hero.. as a hobby.
He also says that as simply being humble. Everyone kinda do a speech abt how admirable themselves in their self introduction, while Saitama just like:
"I'm just a guy who's hero for fun."
Mumen rider is the kind of person we should all strive to be. True selflessness and willing to protect anyone because he knows it’s the right thing to do.
The thing about this show is that the characters are more complex than you’re led to believe at first. Mumen Rider is introduced like some lame guy trying to keep up with the heroes, but turns out he was the most heroic one of them all.

He's not introduced as a lame guy. He's the guy who, if no one else is around, he's going to try. He tries to make sure someone is there for everyone. It's not about "keeping up with heroes". It's about trying to help anyone at any time. Even if it's something he shouldn't.
If no one else will, he will.

Genos actually beat the Cyborg Gorilla from the House of Evolution early on. He didn't kill him so they could interrogate him. The thing of course is that he hasn't won a fight for the Hero Association yet. I do think that's part of the character. But to be honest, this fight was "lost", but only because he sacrificed himself for the little girl. Villains can play dirty, but heroes have to be heroic and try to save everyone. If he hadn't saved the girl, he would've been blamed for that. It gives you a disadvantage in fights. Just think back to Stinger. When all the "fans" had finally left the scene, he could kick things up a gear and beat those 4 sea monsters. Before that he probably was beaten up, because he was also saving people.
Amai mask is an unbelievably complex character. I cannot wait for season 3 and season 4 to reveal more about this guy. His Arc in the web comic is incredible

This is the episode that I really loved Saitama. Nothing is nobler than self sacrifice (All Might quote). Not only did he catch Mumen and say “you did great man”, but he nuked his own name to boost the other heroes.

One of my favorite things that is never outright stated, but becomes clear in his interactions with different heroes, Saitama thinks Class S heroes are amazing, but other than that....he has NO idea what rank anyone would be unless someone tells him. Because to him, the top of Class S is only a bit stronger than the bottom of Class D. He recognizes when someone moves well, because he has no fighting skill at all, but their actual speed, power, endurance? He's so far above anyone else on those he has NO metric for it.
your first statement would be correct, compared to him C class and S Class aren't that much different in power, but he doesn't know someone's rank because he just does not pay attention. He can and is in fact very good at being able to tell how much power someone has, he can still feel the difference when someone hits him. For someone who is strong enough to split the skies around the world, he can limit his strength so much so as to only knock someone out (like snek in the beginning). This degree of strength control is astronomical and he knows exactly how much to use in just an exchange or in some cases just by looking.

This was the episode I felt in love with this anime and knew it was gonna be one of my favorites

Btw. In the OVA, we saw saitama's childhood and the weak monsters. At that times, monsters were really weak and there were no heroes. There were only polices. And one time, Mumen rider saves Saitama from a weak monster. In this episode, Saitama pays back with saving Mumen rider.

This is the best animated anime ive ever seen
One punch man hits different, because it's not a journey of someone gaining power. It's his journey of regaining his humanity. If you watch the art style, his looks change based on how he feels. His "dumb" looks is basically his bored look. When they actually draw him normal he his starting to feel or get excited.
It's an action oriented anime, where the main protagonist doesn't do much of the action. I love the shows contrast. Funny vs serious. Physical strong vs strong will. A lot of the "strong" really are not "good" people. Bad attitudes, selfish, just there for the money, etc...
I love Saitamas growth as a person, but also watching him change others.

Honestly I understand that brat, you're funding an association that's supposed to manage heroes protecting the average citizen, none of them could really do much to the sea king outside of delaying him for others to come until this seemingly week C rank hero oneshots it and then lies to help the other heroes save face and protect the association's reputation.
