The manga gave a whole chapter focusing on his backstory and how Saitama inspired him. He falls in the same category as King and Mumen Rider for me with the only difference being that he doesn’t hang out with Saitama. Fun fact, he is at a much higher ranking now that he isn’t in Fubuki’s group. So the inspiration really helped ^^
My favorite theory is that Glasses is on the same trajectory as Saitama, and the reason he has glasses is so it’s easy to tell him apart from Saitama when he goes bald as well.

I'm so Convinced Saitama is going to unlock the best martial arts of the entire series in the last fight of the series. When everyone asks where he learned to fight like that he will say 'Oh? I guess I learned it from fights with King' Then they'd say 'you, fought king?' He'd reply "yeah, several hours a day at least" And then... Finally they'd believe Saitama was strong No one else could live against a battle with KING!!!!!

Even subconsciously he has to start picking up some of King's moves, even if its just in video game form he is still using punches, kicks, just have to do like king does.

Garou will ultimately turn into some type of godlike being and be nearly undefatable but Saitama will just do Saitama things and save everyone by beating Garou up like your mama whopped your ass as a little kid.

But it will probably feel extremly rushed like season 2 part 1 did when they crammed 50 chapters into it. Also the late chapters of the arc feels extremly long compared to the earlier chapters. Just hope they dont make a mistake of rushing the anime. I just wanna see the full potential of muratas work.
Just noticed the parallel between Genos fighting Garou and Saitama fighting King at 1hp. Showing that Genos is reckless when he fights and 'button mashing' whereas Garou is fighting tactically and thinking about his moves even though hes at 1hp.
I think that parallel was more against Death Gatling. Unlike usual, Genos was going in without being overconfident or holding back. I really wonder how the fight would have gone if Silverfang hadn't shown up, because Genos might actually have pulled a W. The OPM series does a great job playing with preconceptions of "levels" since they don't apply universally.
"Showing Genos reckless", I don't get it, what fight has genos ever fought since season 1 of which he acted reckless, the problem with almost all of Geno's fight is that he's opponents are usually wayyyy stronger than him, only two monsters in season 1 could beat genos mosquito girl (high demon) and Carnage Kabuto(dragon), deep sea king only won because of the condition of the fight (civilians), genos with just one hand was enough for him, season 2 was also two monsters goketsu and elder centipede (of which where both high to very high dragon), Genos never holds back in any of he's fights nor does he foolishly act, also garou would have defeated genos in this fight cause garou here was already evolving

Garou is going through his first monsterfication process and that's why his hair and eye turned into red, he is now much powerful and faster than before.
if he hadn't fought metal bat before taking on the 8 A classes... he might not have done so well. he learns something every fight. that fight, he learned that people are capable of pushing past even extreme injuries, which he then immediately used.
Genos would have killed Garou if not for Bang intervining. Beaten up or not. People really underestimate him because he loses. But he only loses because he fights insanely strong characters. Be it Carnage Kabuto who gave even Darkshine trouble (VGS audiobook which is canon) or Goketsu who is one of the stronger Kadres. Reminder he was massively holding back against Garou. No big attacks or AOE because of the unconsious heroes.

After watching season one and waiting a year with no idea when or if season 2 would be out, I read all the available manga at that time. I think Garou is against all villains and simply doesn't feel heroes should automatically win. He also believes the Monster Associations are villains.
It likely wont be shown in the anime but Glasses is most likely the next Saitama. He is exceptionally strong and met Eyelashes again. Eyelashes attacked him with a kick and Glasses effortlessly blocked it. Eyelashes himself stated that Glasses was already way ahead of him pretty much confirming that he has the potential to be an A Class hero. He isnt really shown in the manga other then this sequence, the flashback and the bonus chapter i just stated. Funfact: Everybody on Death Gatlings team was chosen because they are underrated heroes who have survived great things. Stinger had Deep sea King. Chaintoad has a moment with Mumen in one of the ovas, Wild Horn lost to a monster in the manga(saitama was around to help), Smile Man was in ep1 against Vaccine Man, defeated a demon level(which is impressive for an a class that isnt top 2) he was jumped by that demon level boxer(that bang saved him from) he went on to try and fight 100 eyed octopus(another drmon level) and then proceeded to come out to help Death Gatling. Thats the real reason he got oneshotted here. He is the a class hero that fights the most demons and above despite not being able to win. Shooter and Blam Blam have yet to have a backstory chapter so we dont know why exactly they were chosen. Another thing, most reactors say it isnt fair that he gets jumped like this, but thats just what Garou has been doing all season. He takes advantage of heroes popularity, reads up on the and then jumps them. He literally pulled up to Golden Ball mid happy hour. But his main gimmick is his growth. Glasses is shown to have extremely good stamina ans endurance. Glasses is hanging with A ranks. He's moved beyond the B-rank Fubuki Group. Also Saitama didn't become strong by exercising. He became strong when he got up when he was exhausted and denied his own weakness. Garou is following the same path, getting up to fight even when totally spent.

They can only make anime from the manga that is finalised in Volumes. The most recent volume (Vol 29) goes up to early into the surface fight so there is still not enough material for 2 seasons yet 😔

Yeah, a lot of people get confused by his hair suddenly turning red. If you look closely though, right before that happened, he wiped his hands through his hair repeatedly. So yes - it's just blood. He didn't start transforming into a monster or anything. He just broke a blood vessel in his eye and wiped his blood in his hair.
i have think a things or two; garou is the protagost of a normal anime shonen, but is a villain that became stronger at each fight ; for continue the classic rules of shonen that one punch man destroy and parodies

Also Saitama didn't become strong by exercising. He became strong when he got up when he was exhausted and denied his own weakness. Garou is following the same path, getting up to fight even when totally spent.

@@ODDnanref I actually saw the post about 3 months ago that they confirmed it in Aug of 2022 and it takes years to create this anime as you can see. Confirmed by Chikashi himself. Animation by MAPPA Studios. They claim it is taking this long because of covid but that is not the case. In fact there has been news just happened this year (Oct 30 2023). So please try to reframe from giving out misinformation. UA-cam bans those that does this.

I took confirming the season as it being announced. Most of the articles talking about it bring absolutely no new information. You could say those articles are the equivalent of someone doing a game review for a game released last year. Sure it is nice to get a recap, but it is essentially not news about the game. Similarly, articles released in October and even September, have nothing new to bring. No release date, nothing on what the season will cover, nothing on how many episodes, nothing aside from that it is confirmed. Which I took to be the same as the season being announced.
If you are going to equate my comment as misinformation, maybe take the time to actually read the articles and see they bring absolutely nothing new to the matter.
Also, August 2022 is a bit more than a year ago. So if that counts as misinformation, my bad. No news since a year and a half ago. Also, most of the recent "news" are full of speculation, which you can see by just reading them and noting their word usage such as "fans expect" and similar word usage. Meaning none of it is official.

Like I said read the sites you are citing because none of them are the official Author's, mangaka's or even studio site. All of them are speculating, hence why none of them say the anime is going to release winter season, or fall season, let alone mention a specific date of release. Why? Because there is no release date.
Little do they know... The monster Assosiation is Season 3, and probably 4, and Garou vs saitama will probably be season 5 Current Webcomic is like season 12 finale currently.
The only good news is the Manga is caught up enough for about 7 seasons so they technically could start full production and give us a season a year... if season 3 is popular enough to get a multi season deal. The slow season 2 was because the webcomic needed to catch up, same with season 3... but murata is a mad man at drawing epic manga fast.

They can only make anime from the manga that is finalised in Volumes. The most recent volume (Vol 29) goes up to early into the surface fight so there is still not enough material for 2 seasons yet 😔

Nah man but like Genos never doubted Garou as a threat as he acknowledges his technique but Genos comes fresh from a fight with a disaster level Dragon, compared to *that* Garou *is* a small fry, and living with Saitama, the dude now has a bit of a distorted view on life as in sure, there are incredibly strong things out there that ain't nothing compared to Saitama.

Yeah, a lot of people get confused by his hair suddenly turning red. If you look closely though, right before that happened, he wiped his hands through his hair repeatedly. So yes - it's just blood. He didn't start transforming into a monster or anything. He just broke a blood vessel in his eye and wiped his blood in his hair.

to all manga readers and anime watchers , garou just looks like a dude going berserk on heroes , but if you read the webcomic you would realise he had a great motive , he legit was a better character in terms of depth and complexity than saitama himself.
@CaraPrezReacts That's normal because the animation on this anime has more frames than other anime scenes because of the fight scenes. Season 3 might take a while because the details on the fights on that are on another level.
You guys don't realize how much stronger Garou becomes each time he's facing adversity. Even if he's weakened, I don't think he's weaker than he was when he started fighting the A/B ranks. Until he reaches the limits of his current body, he keeps getting better as he fights.
