True way is with out the sour cream and use straight mayonnaise. From AZ and that how all my elote guys smell them around my neighborhood.

Want a real game changer? Substitute the Mayo for Canes Sauce and follow the rest of the recipe but use only a little tajin. So tasty and delicious. I always make about a dozen of them and they go so fast at my barbecue’s…
I'd have to cut the corn off the cob and make that in a bowl. Being cleft really makes it hard to eat corn straight off the cob.
