Quick question, can I use the LED bulbs for these headlights? I do notice that I was not able to use my torch beam bulbs to replace because the factory LED was a different type of setup. Does this fix that problem? Thank you From Atlanta
Been awhile man since your old Civic, Glad you're doing well with the civic and your duties. Will be looking forward to get the acuity mods for my 2020 Si. Much Love from Cali
Awesome mods, I watched these about a year ago and ended up getting a civic hatchback sport, can you make a video going over what ktuner flash does? Is it worth on a non-si model?
Awesome you picked up a 10th gen too! I'll try me best to document my final impressions with the Ktuner setup once I get a few more bolt ons installed :)
Pawinning!! Glad to see you back! I feel you on the coldness here 😭 it’s been BRUTAL haha! I was actually in the market for a new shift knob so I’m going to hold out for when you show us! I’m excited for your future videos and can’t wait to see them! 🙏🏽
Pherable tune is amazing! I’m running MAP 2 with FMI with charge pipes from PRL, SRI from PRL and PRL RMM with stage 2 acuity SS kit. And the whole care feels amazing!!
aw man, I missed this when you posted it! Dude, glad you're back and I can't wait to see this build through! Your videos for the Acuity shifter and AWE exhaust were inspirations for both, which were my first mods (other than my CAI). Glad to see you back! Gonna binge watch now and catch up! :D
Can't tell if your car is tinted or not, but I recently picked up some precut tints from R-Vinyl. Really good quality, really good price for what you get and it came out really well. I installed it myself with no prior tinting experience and just a tad bit of wrapping experience. Buying precut is definitely the way to go if you're considering a DIY tint job
Nah the car isn't tinted but the rear windows have interior shades against them to have a similar effect. Would much rather have actual tint though, I will have to check that tint out from R-vinyl thank you for the suggestion 🙏!
I live in Massachusetts with a 2020 Si as well and I got a remote start kit (with harness) from Fortin, it's really nice to get into a warm car. It auto starts the heated seats based on the temperature, as well as the climate control. Feel free to reach out if you need help on it. Keep up the good work! P.S. Are you still using the Acuity heel-toe pedal adjuster? Did not see it on your list but the cost well worth it.
At last been waiting your new video of your new car. its been a month now since i got my prl flex fuel kit on stock clutch. Clutch still good but im starting to save money for my aftermarket clutch. I would suggest get the flex fuel and you will not regret it. Be safe bro.
I got the Buddy Club "Time Attack" Sport Steering Wheel from MAPerformance and I'm absolutely loving it! Retains airbag and steering wheel controls while giving a much more sporty feel
Hey dude, i'm the fan of your pedal spacer Acuity Video. Now this year i'm bring back my 2017 Honda Civic Sport plus to Honda dealers and replace them with Honda Civic Type R 2021🤗
I just picked up a 2018 ex-l. eibach springs on the way. quick question. did you have any issues getting rear aligned? did you need to buy camber kit also?
I have the Acuity shift boot collar and the Esco. I just ordered the Poco just to switch it up. I know it doesn't need the collar anymore because it has its own but is it difficult changing to the Poco? I'm guessing it's just removing the leather boot, taking off the Esco and screwing on the Poco but I'm not sure if it's that's straightforward?
Hey thanks for commenting! Yessir you’re correct the process to install the poco knobs collar is identical to the acuity 1924 shift boot collar. Just make sure the poco collar is oriented the right direction before you zip tie it in place as it’s not reversible like the 1924 boot collar 🤘🏼
Yessir I do! Most likely if you dm them you'll chat with me! I handle some customer service and also manage their social media accounts 🤘. Hope you enjoy the new pedal spacer!!
The Acuity Stage 2 kit and Esco has been the best mod I've done for my 2019. I have a full exhaust system, Downpipe, Intake and catch can and the shifter has been the best decision so far. I'm an idiot and didn't buy the stage 3 when I should have. How difficult is the install? Is most of the work just taking the console apart again? The stage 2 kit wasn't that simple. It was tedious and took me like 3 hours overall including the bushings under the hood.
The installation of the full shifter requires the same removal steps of the center console unfortunately, and then the next step that may be difficult is removing the factory cables, but I have a POV install video on my channel that should show clearly how the cables are latched into the factory shifter and how to install them on the new shifter. I’d say based on your previous install a complete shifter swap will take you about 2-3 hours 🙏
Just subbed. Been rewatching your videos here and there... will be picking the AWE exhaust eventually thanks to your videos 👍🏼.... if you don’t mind, what dash cam did you go with? Might be getting the viofo a119.
I hope you will be able to snag some awesome upgrades in the future! It definitely took me a bit saving up for some of these mods, so I understand the struggles.
I was going to order the 27Won intake but a lot of people said its not very loud so I ordered the PRL short ram intake and ill add the cold air kit when summer comes.
I have the same car and i bought the same aftermarket tail lights that u have but my reverse lights arent coming on do u know what the problem might be?
Hey thanks for watching and commenting! For your reverse lights I'd try flipping the polarity (turn the connectors 180deg and plug them back in), to see if that works. Then also inspect the connectors to make sure none of the copper wires are misaligned when plugging them back in 👍. If that doesn't fix it, definitely reach out to hirevsports as they should have more diagnosis help or can pursue a warranty claim on them 🙏
Great vid and even better ride mate. Regarding the tail lights - does the breathing effect continue while driving? Or is it only when you start the car? Can you go into more detail about the tail lights? Concerned on legality of the effect, but the lights are by far the best ones I've seen and trying to decide if I can rock em. Cheers
beautiful 10th gen, i live in connecticut and i know the cold myself. love the headlights and tail lights... i have a 2019 si and i'm waiting for the spring time myself to install my PRL intercooler.. 10th gen is known for heat soak... great video. i'll be on the mass pike this spring for some E85 fuel... i also i have the flex fuel mod :)
I just hit 10,000 miles in my 2020 Civic as well, I really love the thing. Biggest complaint is lane departure warning, which I have NEVER turned on except once lol. The radar cruise is absolutely amazing and am so spoiled when I get in a car without it. Mines in Modern Steel, which was very hard to find. Mine is a lease, mostly for short term financial reasons, not sure if I would want to buy it or get a new one when the lease is up, what do you think about the new Civic concept?
Hey man! I live in Vermont so fellow New Englander. I have been on the fence about getting some lowering springs and am wondering if you have run into any issued with the massive amounts of snow we tend to get here. Great video and the car is looking great!
Fantastic video and I watch it over and over! Please enlighten me with changing bulbs in the factory headlights? I tried installing some Torchbeam LED's and it was so not happening. Can you advise on why the wiring is different? Thanks again
Been following since I purchased my 2020 Si March last year. So far I regret getting the Acuity Stage 2 instead of the full shifter assembly. Hopefully I'll be able to install the mods I purchased for my car once this shitty winter ends.
Thanks for following! I totally hear you I actually ran the stage 2 upgrade on my old 2017 Si for about 10k miles until I switched to the full shifter when it came out. Both are great options though imo depending on driver's tastes and budgets. I'm sure when you're ready to make the switch, you should be able to get a fair sale on the stage 2 setup so it recoups a good chunk of the cost for the full shifter :). Ugh yeah I can't wait for the cold season to end to get back into installing parts outside!
Great video, do you think the Acuity Stage 2 Shift Kit is good for daily driving? I share the car with my wife and was wondering if it felt harder to shift. Thanks!
I actually drove with the stage 2 goodies in my '17 civic si for about 8k miles before I switched to the full shifter, the stage 2 is def nice for daily driving though. That kit imo makes shifts feel stiffer, crisper, with a drastic reduction in free play in and out of gear, but it doesn't make the shifting experience too stiff at all imo.
I bought some aftermarket headlights for my 2017 Si coupe from vland, and the sequential turn signal on my drivers side sometimes blinks faster than normal, have you ever experienced that with the morimoto headlights you have? and do you have any insight on what my issue could be? its annoying hearing the blinker go so fast
I have not had an issue like that with any of the lighting mods I've done to my car so far, but it sounds like you may need to add a resistor or ballast with your setup. from my experience, a fast blink like that can indicate that the car thinks a bulb is out or that a light source isn't drawing the right amount of power in the electrical system if it's aftermarket. I'm not certain that is the issue, but I'd definitely hit up the forums/fb groups for more help if anyone with the same headlights you got dealt with the same issue.
Subscribed! Hey the suma side mirror wide angle are they worth it? And how do you clean those mirror because it has blue tint. Can i clean it with glass cleaner ammonia free?
I have them and they are 100% worth it. If you have dark tint at night it lowers visibility a bit but the wide angle is worth it. You can clean it with a normal glass cleaner without ammonia. Suma performance also sells a cleaning kit if you want to buy that.
I agree with Jonathan too, definitely worth it. It took a day or two to get used to the wider FOV, but I also think it's been awesome to see more on the road through these side mirrors, as before I felt like I needed to lean forward to peep my blind spot. The blue tint has also treated me well, and I can also attest for it reducing glare nicely 👍. Also haven't had issues cleaning it , but I'd avoid anything with ammonia in it too
How comfortable is the ride with those springs vs stock? I did a eibach pro kit on an eclipse previously and while looked great it made it really rough ride.
Really the only difference between the two kits is the inclusion of the short throw adapter for the non-Fk8 kit. All the other parts are identical 👍. The short throw adapter doesn’t fit the Fk8 shifter because it has a much longer lower shift rod than the other trim level shift levers
My buddy and I have '19 and '20 Si sedans- both black as well lol- we're waiting for summer to start putting some cool shit in them. Can't wait to see your upcoming videos. edit: holy god i need those tail lights right now
But quick comments in the meantime, definitely recommend getting it. It feels like it's gentle on the clutch, provides an awesome power bump especially on the 25psi setting. I normally just drive around on the lowest boost setting for daily driving and haven't had an issue with anything thus far 😎
Yes and yes :). Suma Performance offers a few options to address different 10th gen trims, two of the variants I believe have the heated mirror function. Everything is plug and play, hope this info helps! :)
I do not unfortunately , but definitely reach out to them in the dm's on ig! I know the red lenses are dot approved, but unsure of the other tinted ones
So comparing them to the stock LEDs, I noticed that the new headlights had better light density up front with a more clear cutoff line. Overall low beam brightness is noticeably better than stock, but the improvements would most likely be more appreciated going from stock halogen headlights to these new ones. The biggest difference for my was with the high beams, as they are a hell of a lot brighter, really helped with signalling attention to people when you want to pass or let people by in traffic
To be honest dude the OEM halogens seem better than the XB LED on low beams. The low beams on the Morimotos are actually pretty disappointing. Also, the height adjustment screw will break if you turn it too many times, and you don’t know when that will be, so you don’t even want to adjust them. I have a black 2018 civic si coupe with Morimoto XB LED headlights, MAP exhaust, PLR intake, and a bunch of other mods. If I could go back in time I’d probably just get PIAA platinum LED conversion bulbs for the stock housing.
I got pulled over by the cops for having tint that was too dark on the rear windows of my 2020 Honda Civic. They stood with me beside the car starting to yell about whatever when I pointed out that my car is completely OEM. There's 0% tint on any windows in the car. It's a crazy illusion that fools people, including me, all the time. And, no ticket. :D
There're only 2 mods I'd like to have on my Civic (EU-spec, 1.5T manual): Short Shifter and K-tuner.... and LSD-diff and Remote Engine start from US-versions (which is barely possible o_0 ) All others mods are very disputable question of taste :)
Late reply but glad you're back and well. I've been following and now a owner of a 2020 SI myself. Currently heading into some subtle mods myself. How is the ride on the pro-kit? I took the spacers of my previous '18 hatch and found that the hatch fender spacing was more on the front then the back. Now on the SI, 20mm on the rear and 15mm in front brought the stock wheels perfectly flush all around. What's your take on a rear diffuser?
I'd definitely ask this question on the forums/fb groups. You'll find plenty of recommendations there! TBH I've only really used the self serve pressure washers and a few cleaning sessions with a microfiber towel so far, and haven't tried any designated products that are tailored for satin black finishes.
Those headlights man. I love them so freaking much. I'm hoping to find them on sale cause they just look so good. Glad to see you're back :D
Thanks man! Definitely enjoy them and recommend them 🙏. Hopefully they will have another sale soon, if not next black friday!
Quick question, can I use the LED bulbs for these headlights? I do notice that I was not able to use my torch beam bulbs to replace because the factory LED was a different type of setup. Does this fix that problem? Thank you

Does the Si have heated side mirrors? If so, do the wide angles retain that feature?!
Yes and yes :). Suma Performance offers a few options to address different 10th gen trims, two of the variants I believe have the heated mirror function. Everything is plug and play, hope this info helps! :)
@@Pawinning thank you! Great info
Hi can you demo your tail lamp signals... Im planning to buy same like yours... Does the signals red color?
Do you know if the tinted version of those tail lights is street legal??
I do not unfortunately , but definitely reach out to them in the dm's on ig! I know the red lenses are dot approved, but unsure of the other tinted ones
how are the headlights compare to oem reflector? is the projector brighter ?
Let the beard/goatee grow
Ill be retired by the time it grows out 🤣🤣🤣
hey pawining im having problem actually splicing that suma side marker sequential on my car any help please?
I got pulled over by the cops for having tint that was too dark on the rear windows of my 2020 Honda Civic.
They stood with me beside the car starting to yell about whatever when I pointed out that my car is completely OEM.
There's 0% tint on any windows in the car. It's a crazy illusion that fools people, including me, all the time. And, no ticket. :D
Can we get a video of your headlights , looking for some head lights , love that design
Yessir that video is in the works 🙏
How does the side covers fit? Can I get the link?
There're only 2 mods I'd like to have on my Civic (EU-spec, 1.5T manual): Short Shifter and K-tuner.... and LSD-diff and Remote Engine start from US-versions (which is barely possible o_0 )
All others mods are very disputable question of taste :)
Solid choices for mods for sure 👍. Hope you're able to get them into your car!
And totally hear you, a lot of these mods are for personal taste 🤘
New England? Bro we gotta meet up for some pics. I'm in central Massachusetts
Abs dynamics rear diffuser
So which dash cam for the front and rear did you get?
Can you please review the si sound system!
It’s not great. I have a 2018 civic si coupe
I want to see how the headlights work
time to get a clean set of aftermarket wheels m8
totally hear you! stock wheels are gonna be kept for my winter setup, but definitely shopping for a new summer set :)
Were you concerned about the warranty with the Ktuner? What if you run into engine problems w/o warranty?
brah its an Honda lol
I'm sorry you have an SI. Jk lol love it!
Does a short shifter make vtec feel faster?
what vtec haha? The shifter makes you forget you're driving a civic though lolllll.
@@Pawinning I know I'm just playin 😁😁😁 clean build!!!
One suggestion INTERCOOLER!!
Bet 🤘😎
For those of you that own a 2020 si what do you use to clean the black wheels?
I'd definitely ask this question on the forums/fb groups. You'll find plenty of recommendations there! TBH I've only really used the self serve pressure washers and a few cleaning sessions with a microfiber towel so far, and haven't tried any designated products that are tailored for satin black finishes.
Should my first car be a civic coupe ?
Yes! I actually do dig the coupes, but personally I like the sedan for a bit more storage room in the back seats
