I bought this exact car brand new in 99…. Should never have sold it 😢. A popular mod for a lower seating position was to swap in a set of Del Sol seats 👍🏼
I have a 99 Si in Flamenco black Pearl with 128500Mi, and she keeps up for the daily driving, although slightly modified, shes still pretty stock and im just working on maintenance items and soon some paint work due to the old single coat clearcoat peeling and being worn out after 25 years. but shes still going good.

I think not. Most of us already drive such cars. What’s harder to imagine are supercars and hypercars-those interesting cars we might never get to ride in our lifetimes. 'Day in the life' videos with these types of vehicles are more enjoyable.
@@MilesPerHr any chance you would sell that for the right number? Im sure people have asked you a million so im sorry if this question is getting annoying🤷♂️
@@mertbozdag5560nothing wrong with having both. I love supercars. But having cars like this on the channel that’s obtainable to the average enthusiast is more relatable.
I work on new cars everyday for 5 days a week. I love getting in my 98 accord with an old kenwood radio and listen to radio stations my mom would play 10 years ago… ahh memories
Pretty sure those high compression engines did require 91+ octane fuel. And you borrowed a car from the Honda museum and stuck a fridge inside of it?!?! Wow... ballsy.
When every channels new video is about the new M cars luxury crossovers supercars and whatnot, cars like civics that starting to become classics is just that much more fun to watch.
All the punks in my high school had these in the early 2000s. I can't begin to explain how entertaining it was to SMOKE 'EM in my mother's Grand Prix GT.
In about 2019 or so, I acquired a 1995 Honda Civic Si Hatchback for $4k, with 170k miles. It was a completely unmodified, one owner, clean title and no accidents. It still had the factory hubcaps and tape-deck. The interior is complete and like-new, no missing screws or broken/worn bits. I'm happy to say it's remained in this stock condition since purchase and I simply can not get rid of it. The greenhouse visibility, factory engine/exhaust sounds as intended by Honda engineers and the "slow car fast" aspects are just a few extremely special items that can never be replicated. Sure it begs you to modify it, but the OEM feel is so special too. I don't need to shave lap times on my way to work, nor sacrifice every aspect of ride quality for a stiffer chassis. It's perfectly wonderful as is and I just know this 1999 Honda Civic Si is just as good if not better. Enjoy and hold onto it forever, or join the millions that regret selling theirs.
The visibility is soooo much better then newer cars it's insane like I can judge where the front or sides of the car are way easier than these newer cars I drive
i drive an e46 325ci and yeah i would agree, 20 year old cars are still really nice daily drivers. modern conveniences like carplay are fun, but aren't really necessary and can be made up for by bluetooth and phone magnet. i don't find things like cameras and sensors necessary since i can just look. thinner panels are probably concerning for safety, but i do like the extra interior room in a thinner package. it's all worth it for the way it drives and handles and communicates. nice and raw.
Ah yes, cars from a simpler era with more purity and fun :') Don't get me wrong, new cars have their thing, but there are some things that just CANNOT be replicated like the energy of that engine!
