- Come with us on a Birthday celebration cruise with mum and dad! We went on a 4 night cruise to Amsterdam on the P&O Ventura. This is part 1 where we enjoy on-board entertainment as well as lots of food and a canal cruise around Amsterdam.

Becky seeing you with your mum and dad is a delight and lordi it reminds me of going on trips with my daughter.
My daughter now married to a 6ft giant to her 4ft 11 " and how wonderful he gets our humour and loves nothing more than waltzing round town with my handbag regardless if it is bright pink as, worried when I am in wheelchair it is to easy to grab from big twit does not get I link it thro my wheelchair seat belt 😂😂😂

How lovely to have a cruise for your special birthday everybody looks very happy. I went to Amsterdam once for 3 days discovered bulldog cafe and my bad friends fed me special cake. I only saw 1 day 😊😊

Your mum made me laugh - a roast dinner with a dollop of Chinese noodles. That sums up buffets to me. People come back to the table with some very weird food combinations. All good fun though!

We are going on a cruise with MSC to Norway . We tried to get accessible cabin with P and O but couldn’t . I’m worried I should have waited and tried another time , as I’ve heard lots negative things about MSC food !!!! Only time will tell . Will just stick to the buffet if it’s dodgy 😂

Love the vlog! Do you have to book any entertainment on a Ventura cruise holiday? We always like to see the headliner shows but haven't been on a cruise for a few years - we use to just turn up and sit anywhere. I can't find on the website which things you have to pre book?? Thanks in advance for any help :)

Happy Birthday Wendy, glad you enjoyed your trip. We were on Ventura twice last year and had a great time although we do prefer Aurora. When you got on the ship you could have gone to the Suite and Peninsular lunch in a separate restaurant where you get given free drinks, did no-one tell you about that? Looking forward to watching Part 2 xx
I think they’ve stopped doing it. We asked but they acted like they didn’t know what I was on about…

I think it was around 5/6pm. There was a delay due to another boat.
The walk was 5 minutes. Unless wheelchair bound, I think anyone could join this trip.

It looks an amazing cruise. Was the food all inclusive or was that an added cost on top of the cruise? Xxx
Food in the buffet and main dining room is included. Additional cost in the Beach House, Epicurean and Sindhu. Drinks not included but coffee/tea/ old water available in the buffet 24hrs. We had a lovely time x

I am currently in the process of looking at going on a cruise as my mum keeps telling me that I should go on a cruise as they have been on three cruises, but I wouldn’t really have anyone to go with which would be fine but you have to pay single supplement which is a right pain in the arse. Can you tell me which cruise company did you go with?
How much did it cost to have your nails done?
Are cruise with P&O last December on Britannia in the Caribbean was very disappointing for lots of reasons so much so we won’t cruise with them ever again. Personally we both think cruising is not the same anymore after covid with booking things on apps that don’t work, expensive very poor internet , long lines to get in shows &dinning rooms , poor food , not enough staff the list goes on and on . Your cruise around Amsterdam looked very nice hope you enjoyed your cruise.
The app has got a lot better and there’s definitely more staff. But should’ve been addressed months ago!
That’s so disappointing for you! A crew member was telling us that a 35 night cruise to the Caribbean hadn’t gone well. The weather was bad,ports had to be missed out, immigration at New Orleans took too long and staff were unable to go ashore. Personally I think short cruises are better.

Not sure if you're still there but please be careful if you go on the trams....my son went for the first time, a man bumped into him..he didn't know at the time but he had stolen his wallet out of his pocket....hope you all have a fantastic time..
