It's a shame that one of their most powerful, best, great feeling songs happened when mainstream didn't care about Poison anymore. This song is universal lyrically and musically sounds great. It has that slow burn feel at times, but keeps you locked in. So thank you Poison, for such an awesome song.

Bands like Van Halen, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Poison, Guns n Rose's, and Ozzy dominated pretty good in the early 90s. People tend to forget that. For some strange reason todays culture, or you could say the last 10-20 years of the mainstream media have been pretty much trying to throw away all these memories of groups like this and make like grunge groups were the pure soul of this era but I can tell you right now that even in 1994 groups like this were still really big it's just todays culture trys to get us to forget about it and just remember the grunge groups as the dominant force. Anyone that was alive like I was would remember.

Gospel is historical Baptist music. This is not bc of being too new.
It's good old rock n roll my religion.
If you count all songs using gospel singers as gospel, then the black crows, rolling stones, Aerosmith, etc are all gospel. Yet they are not.
They are rock, using occasional gospel backup vocals.
The Gospel spirituals are a unique part of religious history in the usa. And as much as I love rock, do not confuse the 2. Bc pure gospel predated rock n began with southern blues like led belly, into Elvis, etc.
Let gospel stand as it always is.

ritchie kotzen,le presento a la banda 4 temas q el habia escrito, stand, body talk, until you suffer some y 7 day over you.

I'm with you. This album was very good but unfortunately came out at the wrong time, Flesh & Blood was undoubtedly their last album to get a lot of mainstream praise only because 1990 was a little over a year before the grunge moment would take a chokehold on the nation. 1993 was too late for Posion.
