  • Simplify all your steps and I Guarantee you will get better in no time. The best way that I found for myself to learn and get better is just by the process of repetition. Please remember that the most important part about being a SUCCESSFUL Barber is your aura, vibe, energy, and attitude. These are all the intangibles that not only make you a better professional but a better person all together. Work on these intangibles as consistent and efficient as you work with your fading techniques! Use JOSCUTS15 at WahlPro if you want to use the same clippers as me! Senior 5 Star Cordless Metal Edition (anniversary 1919) or the Black Magic Clip with Stagger Tooth Blade!

    Good insight on digging into the hair that’s a habit I tend to have

      Best tip is don’t ever let the pointy part of the guard touch the customers head. That will prevent digging . Basically the point of the guard 🙏🏽

      I haven’t yet because it’s nothing fancy, I start with a guide at the front then I pull it back all over the head. I don’t de sectioning or anything. In the future I will 🙏🏽

      @@JosCuts bet maybe you can quickly include it in the end after showing a fading tutorial but it’s up to you 🙏🏽

      @@danieljasso5981 I truly wish is that easy but I don’t want to rush anyone’s haircut and the recording process makes me take longer on the haircuts that’s why I only show one side most of the time . If I were to record the line up or top of the haircut my 30 minute cuts would turn into 50 minutes and it’s not efficient considering I have 1 client every 30 minutes . I’ll try my best to get some videos in soon though 🙏🏽

    How do u like the black magic clips? My coworker has one and it’s loud asf. Usually we can’t hear each others clippers in the shop especially when it’s busy but we can all hear when he flips the magics on.

      Maybe he dropped them ? My magic clips are honestly one of the most quiet. But like any other clipper maybe he has a Dud, or something’s wrong with his blade ? But no, I HIGHLY recommend the magic clip I’ve been recommending that to all barbers since I started cutting in 2016

    Do you have any tips on how to do better fades because when I try do a fade it looks a bit patchy?

    • @JosCuts
      @JosCuts  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes! A lot of barbers including myself will tell you to use your corners, but it’s very important to only use your corners for the 0.5 guard, and the no guard. Here and there you’ll use your corners with the 1 or 1.5 guard but ONLY FOR DETAILING. If you use your corners with the bigger guards it will create small patches across the fade. The more you use the full guard and the full blade with the guards, the more even and blurry the fade will look hope that helps 🙏🏽
