I’m 27 years old and I’ve been trying to find a career that I’ll love but I’ve been struggling to find that. I’ve been thinking about barbering for years but have been unsure about it. Would you say it’s a great career to get into?
When I was growing up I always wanted a haircut like this but never knew exactly how to describe it. So I always ended up getting some bad haircuts. I feel like modern barbers are more in tuned so it’s easier to explain. I just grow out my hair now for a more natural look.
@@TheT523 I agree barbers nowadays definitely take their craft more serious and see more passionate !
I see you deleted other people's comments that called you out on your "fast trash cuts" that's a sign you know it's the truth.
@@45acpadvocate96 that person deleted his own comment 😂 any type of comment helps the algorithm. Even this one , so no I don’t delete comments and if you don’t delete you’d this one will stay too thank you 🙏🏽 Shoot your IG so we can all learn from you king!
This dude is a joke. Talks too much and doesn't even put down a good cut.. he is more worried about getting someone in and out of his chair in 30 min than he does putting down a quality cut. He is driven by money not quality cuts. Trash
You’re right !!! My haircuts suck I would love to learn from you please link your instagram or UA-cam channel so we can learn how to cut the right way! Thanks in advance !
I appreciate the knowledge bro 🫡
@@heyzuz I appreciate you watching ! 🤝

Thanks for watching !
Can we get a shear work tutorial pls
Soon 🙏🏽 don’t know how soon but soon 😓
That’s to high for me
@@Noblenights904 okay ???? I’m not sure what the purpose of that comment is. I do what my clients want as long as they like it I’m happy… and he liked it 😂🤝
@ could you imagine ninja with a low taper fade
@@Noblenights904 I can’t
Jos finally posted again!!! love it bro keep it up❤
Thank you! Appreciate the love !!!!
Is this what it means when they say don’t be afraid to go up ?
Yes! That’s exactly right !
thank you so much for explaining each step especially step five many barbers on UA-cam don't go deep into detail especially on certain parts of the cut to help the viewer understand what they need to be doing....thanks
You got it! Glad I could help! Thanks for the kind words 🙏🏽
Is that a shiny charm?
@@criticalhits4303 I’m not sure what you’re talking about?
Nice video, man, very helpful from start to finish. Great advise for new barbers
Thank you for the kind words !
🔥🔥
man thanks for this video. second year over here self taught.. thinking about going to barber school this year., btw. what spray did u use for the enhancement
Thank you for watching and leaving feedback!
Glad to hear! It’s called Tintation!
how are you liking the vapor clipper?
Favorite flipper use them for every single cut 🔥
This was a great and insightful video especially for my personal barber journey. Year 2 gonna be my improvement arc! Thanks for the videos and keep them coming. You are doing God’s work!
Thank you ! Rooting for you 🔥
Very helpful
Glad to hear that!
I agree with everything except the enhancements part. That shits gonna wash off when they take a shower. Typically people take showers when they get home from a haircut.., why lie to the client and fix our mistakes and give a false haircut….. this is a new generation thing…. We didn’t become barbers to paint a head…. Other than that, all your guidance is excellent…
I hear you I really do! But at the end of the day if your clients ask you for some , cause they want some, what are we supposed to do as barbers ?
You are not a barber huh? Cause if you are one you should know, the client decides whether he wants enhancements or not.💀 this is the service industry, do what your client says buddy
@ and your not a barber, because if you knew how to cut hair properly your client wouldn’t be asking for enhancements…….
@ 💀😂 okay master barber, so if a client asks for enhancements its cause you can’t cut?? Thats crazy analogy
So much effort in this video, it deserves way more attention 👍👍
5:34 wanted u to shut up
I can sense his attitude through the screen 😂 y'all are kings 💪🏼
L got that Hawaiian islands hat. 🤙🏼 where yall located at?
He’s from there! And we’re in LA California 🙏🏽
@ that’s what’s up. I’m from Hawaii as well, I live in Michigan now but I’m moving back to Hawaii in a few weeks. I bought a barbershop and hoping to turn it around, change the culture and make it profitable again! Keep up the great work. 🤙🏼
What happenes if u get sick one day? Do u call each of ur clients and ask to rescheduele or something like that?
Yes that’s exactly what happens !
That’s fucked up😭😭😭
🤣💀 homie face was priceless
Appreciate you highlighting the areas you are working on. It really does help a lot
Debulk -2 First line clipper half open Second clipper close Then trimmer Use 1 gaurd open to close The use half gaurd open to close If needed use 1.5 open to close
thanks so much jos i’m a nigerian living in saudSaudi arabia 🇸🇦 and i used to have issues cutting these types of hair and waste a fortune of time cutting nonsense, most times i would have my clients being collected by them egyptians, but now am collecting them egyptians clients back all thanks to you jos thanks a ton
Your cameraman need to use focus lock, it’ll make his job easier and your videos better. But great video still bro keep it up 👍🏼
Loved how real and transparent this was. Thanks for the insight. Subscribed!
What other ways that you collected clientele was it only staying at the barbershop?
I hope this message gets to many young men and woman, I was 34 when I got spinal cancer and left in a wheelchair. ♿️ I worked for the Long Island Railroad for 10 years but before that I was a Carpenter making 1200 cash every week. Great money but in the long run I thank God I made the choice to take the job, career with the LIRR. Today I get a pension and disability and I also get money from a retirement account. You never know tomorrow and it’s important to prepare for the worst. Had I stayed a carpenter which isn’t bad but when sickness comes knocking at your door you better hope you have some kind of retirement plan cause what happened to me can happen to anyone. If I didn’t have a job with those benefits, I’d be in a crappy situation. Get a career that’s on the books and gives you a retirement for when you retire. Ask yourself what and how will you live, survive if you become sick enough where you can’t work tomorrow?
i do this technique, but when i do the 0 line, i fade the 0 line first then i start fading down. Does this affect the fade?
Yes
For your day 6 try mine i've been cutting for 5 months now and i leernt evrythimg from youtube. I've tried so many techniques and this is the one that suits me the most 1. Use the 1.5 open with flick to debulk 2. Clipper and thing sheers over comp 3. Create your bold line 4. Use shaver 5. Lever open no guard for guideline(1 finger) 6. 1 guard lever open second guideline and blend with the top 7. Play around with half guard do blend lever open with 1 8. Close no guard for bold line 9. Use corners thinning sheers and trimmer to detail
Yo you should get the magnetic neck mount where you put your phone on it to where we can see the cut up close
@@EL-GUATE1 one of my videos is like that I think ima use it again soon
Wow 🔥🔥I totally understand this method
Bro your video helps a lot I have been trying to learn fade and your video and technick help me a lot thank you❤🔥🔥🔥
Hey I’d say that first comb was ABOVE average but I could be wrong 😅
Can you time stamp what you are referring to please !
whats the name of his haircut
is it a blowout frindge??
Low drop fade , it’s always best to show the video or screenshot of the haircut!
That I can do a fade so I'm a barber memory and Barbara's used to be skilled and multi-talented
Sorry what?
yo man when you’re debulking the back with a 2 guard are you coming off the parietal or the occipital bone?
Great question! Parietal! Not the occipital bone
That’s a mid fade by ever standard lol.
The title does say mid fade brother not sure what you mean !
@@JosCuts you said some people might call it a high fade in the video…
I don’t get it nothing was wrong with it lol
Pointing out that you need to make a straight line and it’ll curve naturally. Lots of barbers try to curve it themselves and it doesn’t work 👍🏽
@@JosCuts I appreciate your videos, I learn so much and you make it look simple. So thank you for your content 💯🙏🏼
bro forget the other part
What?
Debulk with a 2 (or clipper over comb) Start fading down with 1,5 Zero line Blend zero line Blend out last line with the 1 and 0,5 Thinning shears for detail.
Basically what I do, I love this 💎
Bald line. 0gaurd open. Clipper over come. Fade bald line out
That’s it ????
@ yup try it out. That Cliper over comb blends perfectly with the 0gaurd open.
what about the other side?
It’s the same exact thing bro….
@@JosCutsother side of the hair
I like it 👍
Thank you!
