I like how you actually pointed out the guidelines w your finger & gave a detailed demo where they are…I’m a new barber & my instructors/mentors would skip over lil details like that thinking it’s common sense & look at me like I’m dumb when I look confused But thank you for being so detailed w your tutorials
Bro you answer all the questions all other barber tutorials dont answer. It's those subtle gems. For example, you shatter the myths of using certain corners, the red carpet barber, or being a perfectionist when ultimately the guidelines will be blended. It's these things I began to question my process, and you gave me reassurance. Thank you, bro!
Keep these up fr these are high quality you cold with it and you break down these cuts and make it easy to understand only channel i watch the whole vids thru 🔥
What do you do if there c cups are not symmetrical and one is higher than the other? Do you bring it up an push it back or no? Obviously, if the client wants it that way, I know you would do that but if it was your opinion, what would you do?
That’s exactly what I do. Sometimes people want things that are impossible. Some people just have crooked lineups, non symmetrical c cups, or any other imperfections. MOST barbers will try to fix them without letting their client know. WE are not most barbers I’m trying to teach you guys the best way to get your clientele up. That being said, YES, I tell them “aye bro your c cups are not 100% symmetrical but you can’t really tell, you have 3 options. 1 leave them how they are because it’s not a big deal, 2 push one back to make them symmetrical, 3 put your fade higher to get rid of the c cups all together “
Depends on your budget. Here’s what I recommend •S|C Rebel clipper for fading •Andis Masters Cordless for bulk removal. That thing mows through a large amount of hair quickly • Coco trimmer if not, TPOB XO trimmer w/physco blade • Rebel shaver or Babyliss FX3 • Derby razor blades for the straight razor are perfect for beginners because they are not that sharp. Get the hang of it and then switch to a sharper brand Hope it helps 💪
Wahl senior Babyliss trimmer (dont zero gap since you’re barley starting) Style Craft rebel is a good budget shaver (just have to look for the right site I know some are as low as $50)
I bought SC clipper, Babybliss trimmer, babybliss gold shaver all for 350 but sc clipper cuts too deep I think i need another clipper for fade n clean bulk

Do you do any scissor work?
I do, I don’t show it because I don’t do any fancy sectioning or anything like that I just cut it. Maybe in the future I’ll make a video about it
