    Hi Emma,I think the park option isput the machinw to park turn on the mixer and the tool will be centred for easier removal.

    Hi Emma, I just bought this unit because of the good reviews I've read, and I have a couple of questions which I hope you could clarify.
    Does the whisk (egg beater) scrape the bottom of the bowl, touching metal to metal slightly and make some noise? Mine does (at least when I tested it with empty bowl), and I wonder if this is by design. The dough hook does not do that because it has some clearance to all sides of the bowl.
    I just want to make sure that I don't ruin the motor when I run it at high speed.
    Hope you read my post and respond. Thanks

      Solved the problem. I got it wrong. I also used the dough deflector with the whisk, and that is the problem.

    Great review, you've answered all of my questions. I hope the mixer is still working well. I'm going to buy one as I'm not impressed with my KitchenAids gears breaking several times in 3 years x

    I want to know how strong is it when you making dough. and how much it can make without any problem? is it like 1 kg flour at the time or 5kg at ones ?

    • @danielwilson3909
      @danielwilson3909 3 роки тому +1

      The manual says 0.75kg flour and max 2kg of dough mixture(all ingredients together). I usually don't put more than half a kilo of flour at once, which gives me 2 loaves of bread (or 6-12 buns depending on the size)

    Thank you 🙏. Is the behind cap for food processor to use it? 🤔

    • @danielwilson3909
      @danielwilson3909 3 роки тому

      The behind cap is for standing blender/food processor if you get one that includes them, the cap on top (on the other side of where the attachments go) is for cheese/vegetable grater/slicer, citrus juicer and also where to meat grinder attaches.

    Is it still working? Can you use small amounts? Like 200 grams of flour? Or just mix one egg?

    • @EmmasReviews
      @EmmasReviews  5 років тому +2

      Yep still going. I use it quite often now. I've made smaller amounts in there but wouldn't recommend just whisking one egg on its own as the bowl is raised slightly in the centre so the mixing tools will probably scrape if you only have 1 egg in there

      Hello Ana, I find that the machine can cope with 1000 grams of flour(Enough to make 2 large loves) without struggling ,but I would not recommend any higher amounts

    Stop it to add stuff when the splash guard is in place? I never did that, I always added stuff while it is on. Also, you say you have the OPTION to lock the bowl in place (by putting it in the slot on the mixer). That is not an option, it is the only way to fit the bowl, if you don't place it right, you can't use the mixer.

    • @EmmasReviews
      @EmmasReviews  6 років тому

      LottaTroublemaker i have done this as a review video. Its difficult to pour things in and film at the same time so it was easier to stop the machine. You dont have to do that which people will know...its a review video not a replacement of the instructions!!
      Also it is an option...its just the only option. Again tho, it says it in the instructions.
      Please get off your high horse....your youtube username shows why you've even bothered to comment on a video that is a couple of years old. Please grow up and move along..

    Can anyone tell me please if the white plastic bit is supposed to be on for the dough hook? Mine is seperate from the hook and I can't get it to stay on.

    • @EmmasReviews
      @EmmasReviews  3 роки тому

      What white plastic bit?

    • @roseanderson8527
      @roseanderson8527 2 роки тому +1

      Yes, it is to stop the dough riding up the hook and getting into the inside of the machine.

    Since then, you've discovered the function of the "P"-position, at last?

    • @Amy43002
      @Amy43002 6 років тому

      It means Pulse

    • @TRASHoftheTITANS
      @TRASHoftheTITANS 6 років тому +5

      Amy E Krahling It doesn't. As she said it stands for "park", and its purpose is to move the attachment to a position that makes it easy to lift the head up. If the attachment is out of position, it can be hard to lift the head without moving the bowl.
