I finally got round to taking the test - my end result is pretty much the same as yours. I think the problem with this test is that it is probably meant to be global, encompassing major opinions found in the US, China, etc. Pretty much all Europeans would end up with a result that is economically left wing and socially libertarian. I think a version that looks at issues that are actually relevant in Europe would be interesting. Also, three measurements (not sure how that would be visualised) would be good. Authoritarian - Libertarian, Economically Left - Economically Right (although I appreciate that some people might thing that taxing billionaires on their wealth is authoritarian) and Socially Progressive - Social Conservative.
The test is heavily biased to the left, so to get a more "neutral" idea, I always mentally "move" myself about +4 along both x and y axis towards the center.
@@PaperbagEve Yes - that was my point - you are European - almost all modern European political thought is found on the left/libertarian spectrum on this graph.
That definitely was not the intention of doing the test, i just did what i know many people also did to "show" their inner "philosophy". There can be justifications found for most responses, i think, so your answers depend on what you already gravitate towards.
I appreciate the transparency, however I have doubts that this won't become a political channel, only on the basis that seemingly most topics either by their nature, or just due to the hyper-politicization of current affairs, are/will become political. Not necessarily a bad thing, just that I think that statement might prove itself to be untrue.
I mostly wanted to put it out there in case I'm ever accused of being a hard right winger 😀 a european from a non-english speaking country, posting in english, with some views that could be seen by some as rw, that sounds like certain stereotypes. Precautions. In regards to my hope not to become political: I always look at things in an unconventional way (not even intentionally), so I would hope people know that no matter what topics people see I posted about, I don't parrot current narratives. Wouldn't even make a video about something where I don't think I have anything meaningful to contribute.

By biased I don't mean it has "ideology", just, you gotta really try to come out anywhere in the other sectors.

doing the test and giving your oiwn answers explained sounds like ''here is the right answer''

Another question: would it trouble you to see the streets of D.C running ankle deep in blood? Yes or No.
I think the blood would coagulate too fast for it to become a river.
You would love Sweden! But I agree that many of my opinions doesn’t add up. Why is no politician advocating common sense?
I do love Sweden. Beautiful country, lovely people.

Maybe you're going to end up being correct. Don't know what's ultimately going to determine it, but we will see.

@@PaperbagEve Never underestimate the stupidity of... er.... I was going to say 'people'... but probably... 'me' is more accurate.
