Correction: When I say I've only played 4 or 5 games properly I mean game franchises, so call of duty, halo, pokemon, fortnite and skyrim. I dabbled in a little valorant, coc and overwatch as well but not properly. Definitely missing out on a lot lol.
There's something so unique, wholesome and fresh about hearing someone's experiences with the games for the first Time. All of my mates and I played BL2 first, so when we played BL we already had biases and expectations etc so we didn't really get to appreciate it as much as other people, though we enjoyed it
i played bl2 first but now i like bl1 better, the way that there is almost no "stop and listen" parts really helps, and i have many gripes with bl2s gameplay that to me were just strait downgrades, it really annoys me when people act like bl2 did everything better when that definitely wasn't the case. 1. bl2 expo scaling sucks, changing guns every 2-5lvls sucks that's why i dont even care about legendary in bl2 they become trash too fast to care 2. it has LESS guns because of missing weapon types for every manufacturer 3.After bl1 Explosive is no longer an actual element its just a gimmick for torge, removing thigs like Explosive snipers and smgs for no good reason 4. One thing i NEVER understood is how anyone can think the gunplay in 2 is better than 1, the guns in 1 are guns at least, the ones in 2 feel so limp and weightless in comparison like plastic toys. 5. the loot generator was just way better with unique/legendry's that could be defined by more than just the barrel mean hybrids could exist. 6.removeing cool weapon types then ether never using them again or bringing them back as worthless versions or as a legendary(maggie

All the Borderlands games have a special place in my heart, but I don’t think any game will ever top the feeling Borderlands 1 gave me. And I know tastes differ, but to me, it’s an underrated masterpiece.

Not sure if you did this on purpose but there is another game in the series which is a spin off from the tiny tina assault on dragon keep dlc, The name of the game is Tiny tina's wonderlands which is even more customizable then the other games.

People always rip on me for saying the Borderlands series is my all time favorite game series. It was my childhood through PS3 and still comforts me in mu adulthood years later. I've always played solo though. I would love to find some people to eventually beat all the games with again for a good throwback.
Just one thing to correct - luckily you don't kill Timothy in BL2. You can find him in the DLC you didn't play in 3! In fact, the whole DLC is about him lol
My first ever experience with BL was in like 2010 staying at my mates house and another friend of ours was giving him guns 20 lvls too high to use, but we were selling them for 60-70k at the vendor to get the "Millionaire" achievement 😂

Great video, absolutely my favourite series and although I’m glad they’ve made leaps with the gameplay aspect of the game I’m sad that it’s beginning to lose its charm. It’s something I’m surprised so many people notice especially with the new bl4 trailer. At this point I’m just hoping we get a smaller side game focusing on a newly written team of characters that focuses more on their backstory and not some basic overarching story that serves a mainstream purpose. That’s what made tales from the borderlands and the presequel so great.
So I haven't played the first few borderlands games in over a decade.So it was fun going back and playing through them again, but here's what I came up with... Borderlands is exactly what I want out of a borderlands, as a casual player who's not into theory crafting and min maxing. When I bought the game in two thousand and nine I just played through it and never once thought about the skilled trees or anything.The most hardcore deal with so the game was perfect. A new and fresh and hilarious. The gunplay was tight and you can feel the gritty shooter that the game start it out as. The second game has one of the greatest stories told in video games, and probably the greatest villain in all of video games. Almost all of the side missions are amazing and full of people creativity in comedy, whether it's killing off the fake ninja turtles. Or rescuing roland from hyperion. But the one thing that bothered me going from the first game to the second was the seeming downgrade of the early game because the early game in the second game is absolutely a slog outside of the nutty characters and handsome Jack tuning in every now and then to keep you. Interested. The early guns are absolutely atrocious, and the rate of which you acquire weapons is insanely slow. It's almost blast for me to say anything negative about borderlands, too, but I definitely feel like the guns switching from actual bullets, two different colored balls definitely set the gameplay back and it took borderlands 3 to fix it
If I could wipe my memory from any game series it would be borderlands. The first time beating the Warrior I literally had chills I was so hyped, they may have dropped off some when borderlands 3 came out. However, with games like borderlands & borderlands 2 I just know they’re gonna make a game that’s going to be great
I'm praying for Borderlands 4 to be good! I'm sure they can deliver. We all know the first feeling for experiencing such master pieces can't be replicated. Not asking for that, just to be good!

I love the borderlands series been playing them since I was a kid definitely top 3 in my favourite games they make it very fun and memorable most npcs and characters all have backstory all characters are remembered the game has good humour handsome jack is definitely one of the best villains in gaming history the story behind his character is very intresting what makes the game fun is after u beat the story u still have so many side missions the builds are endless and the glitches in the games are quite fun such as money shot glitch and other glitches the speed runs are amazing every legendary gun is remembered for their unique name red text and the weapon overrall all characters are viable some are better then others but u can still 100% everything with each character they are all broken in their own way I love these games glad you got the feeling I got when I first played keep going love the vids💪🏽

The mass effect trilogy is pretty much ideal for your video style if you even have a style after only two videos, but you know what I mean. Other good notable games/ series that are open/ semi-open world story driven RPGs in line with your two current uploads: Kingdom come deliverance, fable, and the metro games.
I found the borderlands games to be better if you ignore the story and just treat it as a shooter. The handling is one of the best in gaming history as long as you find guns that suit your personal playing style and the character you are playing. If I want a good story, I'll watch a movie but if I want to shoot things in the face, the borderlands games make it fun to do.
