Skyrim bringing back a carriage and ferry boat fast travel system was absolutely genius. I dont understand to this day why Oblivion did away with it after Morrowind.

There is actually one more stage to the Thieves Guild clan and I’m surprised the book didn’t mention it. After completing the main storyline and becoming their leader, if you go the people who give you quests and do a specific amount of missions in each major city (I can’t remember the exact number), you can eventually become the guild master. Doing this will add more stores to the thieves guild den and you’ll also get a better set of thieves guild armour.

I had the original book guide the moment it was released on 11.11.11. I went in to pick it up and saw the book. Yoink. From then on, I was engrossed in Skyrim. I played the crap out of it, completing ALL the quests, main, side, and random. Got ALL the items, secret or not. I had it beat. I lost Internet just before the DLCs started to come out. I was super delighted when I did, got the update, and started playing. Building my own house was the first thing I did, since I had sooooooo much thing collected, it didn't take very long. The "Legendary" of your skills was the second thing. Maxing my character via grinding Shield became the priority. Lol But because of that book, the only things that surprise me about the game come from the DLCs. I wish I had the complete book. Lol

The fact thay Skyrim is still widely loved and enjoyed 13 years later is incredible. Even Bethesda stated they dont think that ES6 will be better than Skyrim (it probably wont). I mentioned Skyrim was my favorite game if I had to choose at a church youth group last week The oldest kid was 15 and all the kids between 12-15 knew of Skyrim and talked about it fondly. It felt like a classic to them and a must play.

Not to brag but pretty much everything you said you didn’t know I already knew and I have played Skyrim countless times since it’s release and even got round to getting all achievements on the special edition version for ps4 and yet despite all that all my countless hours I didn’t know various things mentioned such as finding Cicero on the road that shit blew my mind

I’m kind of shocked the book doesn’t have you go through Embershard Mine at the start. It’s borderline a perfect tutorial area.

Man that guide doesnt make any sense. No consistent roleplay at all. Just a do whatever playthrough. Also spellsword is probably the least fun why to play the game since you are using no combat mechanic to its fullest. Also leveling 3 crafting skills for a build makes you overleveled and weaker then enemies at the same time.

Overall i prefered the dragonborne dlc story and locations, but serana makes the entire dawnguard dlc for me, also the snow elf armor you get it nice.

Also doing the quest to unlock master level training for skills in Skyrim, Sholar's Insight and collecting the skill books by doing the quests when needed its way more enjoyable than leveling the skills naturaly.
