Beating Every Borderlands Game For The First time (2024)
Переглядів 75 тис.3 місяці тому
My Dad has been playing Borderlands for the past 14 years, so I thought I'd find out what the hell is so good about these games. I beat Borderlands, Borderlands 2, The Pre-Sequel, Tales From The Borderlands and Borderlands 3. Intro - 0:00 Borderlands - 1:01 Borderlands 2 - 3:45 The Pre-Sequel - 9:14 Tales From The Borderlands - 15:02 Borderlands 3 - 17:14 Epilogue - 22:02
Bro your dad is actually goated
You made me wanne play Skyrim again, thanks bro :D
I followed the NPC at the start once and once I heard the dialogue as you follow them, I never run off on my own on any playthrough. The Imperial guy gives you a similar thing but from his perspective as you go to meet his family instead. It's a really nice intro. Manually traveling around during the Main Story and Civil War quests makes the game feel so personal. I used to just rent a horse from the stables to make it feel even more scenic
My first ever experience with BL was in like 2010 staying at my mates house and another friend of ours was giving him guns 20 lvls too high to use, but we were selling them for 60-70k at the vendor to get the "Millionaire" achievement 😂
The journey is the destination.
I wonder if anyone has created a character inspired by Alistair Crowley when playing Skyrim
Ayyyye yoooo , what song was playin in the back ground when you started taking about BL3 😂
HERE, TAKE MY SINCERE THUMBS UP!!!
Videos like this make me always realize how good Pre Sequel actually was. I never understood why its not beloved as 2 and feels mostly unmentioned
sick video witht he most anti-climactic ending ever
This book has been a great gift in your life
Now you gotta do some of the great modded mission quests packs and updated graphics and physics making it feel like a true modern day AAA title
I’m convinced Todd Howard just holds random employees hostage and forces them to make content like this
You’re telling me this is your second video? And you have a few thousand subs? I’m subbing bc this deserves more
If I took a shot everytime you said "the book" I would been dead 4 mins into this video.
why didnt you play the handsome jackpot? you would have gotten a nice surprise with a certain character
It is funny how much enjoyment I get out of this game from the situations where there's a huge break in immersion. Figuring out how to do duplication glitches, raise smithing by making thousands of iron daggers and gold necklaces, min/maxing literally everything you can. The most imperfect perfect game.
I remember coming across the old orc for the first time too! right before crossing one of the bridges on the way to ivarstead. something about him is really compelling as a character i guess
You didn't do Alchemy at all, or just that specific lab? If the former, how else do you get effective Smithing levels north of 300?
“So you want to hear a story huh” glad you got to see these masterpieces🥲
Ad someone who has platnimuned all Borderlands games and their DLC's...do not play New Tales From the Borderlands. The only things i liked about it were Stapleface and the Tediore soldiers...everything else was garbage and made me like the franchise less. It did so much harm to the IP
Just one thing to correct - luckily you don't kill Timothy in BL2. You can find him in the DLC you didn't play in 3! In fact, the whole DLC is about him lol
i’m 3:30 into the video and i played by the book, didn’t know there was a book and it was my first time playing.
I always followed him 😅
w pops
As the head of a small indie studio I like watching videos like this while working on our next title.
The book forgot to tell you to make 9000 iron daggers... 🥸
My father died 4 years ago and the way you talk to your father reminds me a lot of how I liked to talk about Tomb Raider with him, thx for this
Round 100 EE on pandora when?
I played skyrim for the first time last year (I'm 26), and i was streaming it to my friend, we emerged from the cave and i continued following the person i chose to riverwood, picking a stone and doing the first little quest and my friend told me that the first time he played skyrim he immediately ran off into the woods and didnt get a stone or get to riverwood until hundreds of hours later.
I have always followed the intended path in skyrim. The 5436 dead guards simply stood in my way.
Handsome Jack, one of the only Villians i will never forgett.
And some Optional Bosses. They where Sometimes Insanly hard😂
your dad is so cool
Would 100 percent watch a full play through like this.
I need this book This is how I want to play Skyrim after not playing in like 10 years. 😂😂
You gotta play wonderlands
I enjoyed this. But I feel like you should play the Handsome Jackpot DLC for 3 to learn more about Jack and Timmothy, also happens to be my favorite. And also Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
I love these games on mute !
It makes me happy to see someone just… genuinely enjoying a game like this. Theres so many “optimized builds” that it’s nice to see someone just having fun
As a stealth archer, right? As a stealth archer, right!?
tell your dad that he is a legend.
I have this book too and it is one of my favorite Skyrim possessions. This is how I play my opening sequence EVERY TIME and I have made countless characters over the 3000+ hours played over each iteration since 11/11/11, 100% it each time. I am OBSESSED with Skyrim even to this day with Anniversary Edition. I always go with Ralof (in order to get the torturer's hood, but also being on the side of the torturer never sits well with me) I always follow him to Riverwood but I only take so much from Gerdur because I have seen someone report that the amount you take from her will determine the low end of the loot you find in Bleakfalls Barrow. The more you take from her the lower the tier of the loot and chances of finding loot in your first romp through. It is a left over mechanic from when they had BFB as part of a demo you could play online. I do everything by the book (I have it memorized now) up until I get my first dragon soul with Dragon Rising, then I make my way to High Hrothgar and do what they need me to do so I can get the info on more word walls. I also become an avid and devout Daedra Worshiper. Talos I love this game!
Now beat skyrim the way Bethesda intended with hundreds of mods
0:08 and you know what else is massive
Damn I’ve been playing Skyrim by the book without even knowing it immersion is one hell of a drug
hello other samuel im a samuel too
You can summon a permanent merchant i wish I knew that after my 3 full play throughs years ago 😅😂
You gotta play tiny Tinas wonderlands
16:10 Oh my god. I'm kind of jealous. Hours and hours of Skyrim gameplay, and never once heard "a new hand touches the beacon"
BLOOD BROTHER OF THE FLESH SAW
