17:40 Yes, the oldest Church still exists... Its in the state where I live; St. Thomas Church , Palayoor in Kerala... It was established by St.Thomas in 52 AD and still exists today.... Though the Church was rebuilt in the 18th century , the alter and many parts of the church still is the originals from 52 AD established by St. Thomas himself... There's actually 7 churches estabished by him all 2000 years old.... Most of the Kings in especially South India were very tolerant and encouraged freedom and preaching of religious ideas so my ancestors and I were able to still retain our identity today... 🙂

6:18 Exactly. People only know that India and Pakistan are fighting over Kashmir but most people don't know the details of how it started. India has a firm legal basis for its claim on Kashmir, Pakistan has no such legal claim. India always honors its legal obligations as we can see with the India-Bangladesh sea boundary and EEZ dispute resolution in which the International Court ruled in favour of Bangladesh and India simply accepted. Although it can easily chose to ignore this judgement and crush Bangladesh militarily if it tries to use the boundary it claims. Yet India chooses to follow the judgement of the International Court. Because India respects the rule of law and wants to preserve the current international rules based order. . Compare that to how the Chinese shamelessly continue to claim islands in South China Sea despite losing the legal battle in International Court. Or how USA-UK continue to occupy the Chagos Islands despite losing the case against the aboriginals of that island in the International Court. India is very different. Its not your average country vying for territory or exercising power outside of what is legal or just.
3:39 Don't know about the South American part, but in case of this Indian island, you are not allowed to observe them. Nobody is allowed to go near the island. So its not correct to think of them as being in a zoo. Nobody has stopped the island aboriginals from trying to leave, heck after the Asian Tsunami of 2004, they sent a Search and Rescue helicopter to see if they were doing fine and it "got attacked" (although it never landed or anything, so technically it never got attacked). Point is, those people are self-sufficient and don't like visitors, so we let them be and we ourselves make it a point to protect them from the fate that befell the aboriginals of the Chagos Islands further to the south west.
19:03 .. NOT like England .. In England the Queen does have an "admin/political role" .. She is the Head of State . In India, Royals have no admin/political power .. In eyes of law they are normal people .. but in their local community they have influence 21:07 .. Cricket is the 2nd most followed sport in the World after Football (Soccer). Cricket is like a religion in India 24:20 .. It was approx. 80% Hindus ... rest other religions
5:20 Yeah. That incident took place in Galwan Valley in the Ladakh region which is the Indian frontier region facing China. IMPORTANT: A distinction needs to be made here: Only the Chinese soldiers showed up with sharp edged weapons and nail studded bats, they ambushed the unarmed and outnumbered Indian party that had gone there to demand the removal of a tent which the Chinese were obligated to remove as part of an agreement signed less than a fortnight ago by Indian and Chinese Generals commanding that area. Yet the Indian soldiers were ambushed and brutally attacked by a premeditated Chinese military action using savage weapons used by ruffians. Indian soldiers retaliated with impromptu sticks as weapons or snatched the Chinese nail melee weapons and turned it against them. Its important to make the distinction that it was the Chinese who came armed to ambush a non-hostile Indian soldiers who were verifying implementation of a peace deal that China had signed. Imagine breaking your peace table vow in such a savage way. The Chinese military and Chinese government are savages. Don't deserve any benefit of the doubt or any respect or chivalry.
