The biggest theory is that they're not actually dead, they just don't love the girls anymore. Somin and Jiwoo become controlling gfs (like when Jiwoo and Jseph are in front of the mirror and she's messing with his tie). If you pay attention, the only time the boys seem alive is when they're away from the girls (Jseph in the bathroom and BM when Somin is not looking). So, basically, the dead bodies represent how their love is dead, and all is left is an obsessive relationship which they can't escape from. This theory matches with the lyrics perfectly. Also, "Apego", the place where this was shot, means attachment to something/someone in Portuguese/Spanish
