MV explanation: J seph and Jiwoo are a rich couple, BM and Somin are broke. Both girls suffocate the boys with their love and possessiveness (you are mine) and the boys want out but we see that Somin is a psycho while Jiwoo is manipulative and they always manage to tie the boys back to them. J.seph goes with the flow and does what Jiwoo wants just to get over with it while BM drowns himself in alcohol and ignores Somin's existence. But this behavior is equal to physical presence with no soul hence the "dead" bodies. The girls know the boys don't love them anymore (they see the corpses) but they still aren't willing to let go. Basically, this is a toxic relationship.
“Apego” (the name of the motel) means “attachment” in portuguese/spanish, so i think the point of the mv is that the boys being dead represents their love/relationship being dead but the girls can’t move on from it
The girls can’t move on since the guys have grown distance in their dead relationship. So BM and J.Seph are representing that their dead inside. That aren’t actually dead.
Basically somin and jiwoo are way in love with their boyfriend (Jseph and BM) the boyfriends feel uncomfortable with that , so somin and jiwoo decide to kill them just to keep them and love them , until they realize that their boyfriend can’t speak nor react again so they regret it , For shorten Somin and jiwoo are yandere
the guys is dead symbolize for their relationship is dead/not work out but the girl is still can not move on from that. holding the dead body is like hang on the dead relationship. It's madness.
in my case for *apego* i found that it means "addiction" so maybe for the girls love is just addicting and they can't get enough of it so they force this love into theyr partners but they feel suffocating or dead as it's shown in the mv even thougt the girls are trying to act normal but everything changed and Somin slowly start to realize it and becomes crazy because of it while in the other hand Jiwoo tries to act as if everything is the same as before. ps: that's what i understood so it might not be right lol
I was waiting for your Reaction 😂❤ For me, the Story is that the love between JIWOO x JSEPH and SOMIN x BM is dead but the Girls are still trying to revive it (the relationship) Sry for my Englisch xD
You can put up a poll on which motel would you stay for the night between the omelas from the bts spring day music video or the apego from kard's you in me music video X) also loved your reaction as usual guys :)
