KARD came back with a deeper sensibility after successfully completing its world tour in 25 cities of 13 countries in three months after its debut in July with the debut album [Hola Hola].
The title track ‘You In Me’ is an EDM song with the strong synth and FX sounds on the tropical house style intense drum sounds. The cold voice on the heavy piano sounds on the Break beat, explosive rap and the perfect contrast between the female and male voices at the climax are all in harmony. It described the story of a tragic ending of an extreme love including obsession of distorted love, the climax of emotions and the wrong way of expressing love.

I don't think the guys really, physically died. I think it's just a metaphorical death, of their feeling or relationship drifting apart. The girls had different reactions, while somin acted out; crying, laughing, etc. Jiwoo had a more subtle but all too real internal suffering.

I think that the boy is living a life of toxic relationship with the girl. They find that their end of the relationship is dead. They don't want to be with her anymore. However, the girl wants to keep him there, no matter what. A possible clingy nature. Or, Jiwoo and Somin both just went insane and killed them. There's also that. Either way, this song is a bop, and I love it.

Somin's acting is great. And the look in her eyes everytime they perform it live. Outstanding.
What i love about kard is they use both genders to their advantage, instead of making the members pretend the others dont exist. When I heard about them being a co ed group I was expecting super bubbly, no sexual or serious undertones to make up for the fact they were mixing genders because, well, its korea. But nope. Kard fucking slays and this comeback gave me goosebumps like no other song theyve had before.

On the surface it's a horror story about two women keeping the corpses of their SO's around, possibly after poisoning them, but the meaning is supposed to go deeper. Like it's a commentary about one member of a relationship smothering the other person with too much love and obsession and killing the relationship or not letting them go after it's clear you need to part ways. So it's like your boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband is there with you physically, but they're emotionally disengaged and miserable that it's like they might as well be a corpse that you're dragging around.

The meaning of this song is very deep first starters the name of the hotel "APEGO" is a word in spanish and it means Attachment (EMOTIONAL attachment) both couples Sephwoo and Bmin represent different some kind of toxic relationships and Bseph become Zombies because of that, Sowoo are manipulating their lifes, Somin not letting BM out of the hotel because of BM being alcoholic and Jiwoo wanting J.Seph to be a perfect man, in the very end Somin reacts and feels bad for BM but she knows that it's to late, but Jiwoo doesn't react and in fact she feels happy for what she did.

I think this song is about an abusive relationship, in a lot of cases the female counterpart becomes intensely overprotective of the male counterpart and the male becomes trapped in this state, zombie like if you are referring to this video. The lyrics also portray that, when jseph says '"your trace or fragments are everywhere." he''s saying she's everywhere so he can't leave. when the guys start looking like they are dead it's a *metaphor* ! The name of the motel is apego. Apego in spanish means, something among the lines of being attached to, something that you're close to. Obviously here, or at least this is how I see it, Somin and Jiwoo are attached to they ex boyfriends. They have that "apego" to them. They don't understand they're gone, that's why they say "you're mine, you're my everything, I can't let you go, I need you in my life". The raps of BM and J. Seph just emphasize this; the song talks about someone who cannot move forward, who is still attached to their ex, that person knows it's over but still, can't get over it. The fact that BM and J. Seph are "dead" in this video just symbolizes how Jiwoo and Somin are stucked in a reality where they are still together, but the truth is, they are not. That's why they are dead; they can't let them go. Also, the scene in which the camera gets dizzy and Somin acts like crazy just shows how she lost control over herself due to the pain of not having the love of her life next to her.
This is how I see it because it's happening to me. I do not say that he is mine, I think that's a little too much, but the rest resonates with me perfectly. This video it's brilliant.

Yes I thought of almost same things when I saw this MV again and again to understand it , thought I didn't know about Apego meaning. Thanks for explaining now I see picture clearly .
The name of the place is "apego". In my country apego is like a strong bond or relationship with someone or something (it literally means attachment when translated). Sometimes (like in this case) it refers to when you can't let go of something or someone (more on the obsession side) because you have "apego" to that especific someone or object (this is not always the connotation of the word because like I said it's more on the obsession side of the road but I feel like that's the one they are using in here). In the MV we can clearly see their "apego" to the guys (BM&JS) that i suppose are their lovers. Even tho they are "dead" (or maybe just emotionless towards Jiwoo and Soomin) They can't let go of them, they want to keep loving them forever. Also take a look at the words they use "you are mine/my property". Thats apego in this case in particular.
