Enjoying the evolving world of quadcopters for a lot longer than expected. So many aspects and challenges for us on technical, social and political levels. 😊
Good video, also handy to put volume and dcreen brightness on a dial in switch together. As volume of auto voices can be annoying, especially if you have the joshua Bardwell soundpack haha
I have screen brightness on the rotary but have volume ramped to the max and wear ear buds when flying with crashing waves. Would like a second rotary switch for volume, although I could probably figure out how to adjust volume on one of the push button switches. Not sure I'd like a know it all voice in my head when flying! 🤣😂🤣
ah interesting, your rocker switches has got little ridges top and bottom, must be new thing as my pocket which i got when released has got smooth 3pos switches. nice set up btw, i also felt the arm switch is to close to the edge and i feel i need to bend my index finger to use it which doesnt feel natural. I'll try your set up.
I started with a cheap generic game controller with a usb cable when I was learning acro with the FPVFreerider simulator, but found it did' not feel like a real fpv controller with proper gimbals. There may be less expensive fpv controllers than the RadioMaster Pocket that I use, but I have not tried them. Make sure they have a USB port to connect to a computer. The Pocket has 2 USB ports, one for charging the internal batteries, and another on the top for computer connection. When the Pocket is turned on and a USB cable connected to a computer is inserted, there is a choice of modes to select - Joystick, USB Storage etc. I find it easy to use. If you find a cheaper controller than the Pocket, search UA-cam to check if anyone can demonstrate successful use of it with a SIM.
Thank you Sir! for your educational video.
Happy to be of service!
Good job friend! I’m very glad you’re having fun with it all… and haven’t you come a long way?! 👍🏼

Good that RM keep working to refine the design. Think I'll be sticking with the Pocket for a while.
