Great to see you, Jon.
Thanks for the comment! I know how much you like cars too, so hopefully you’re enjoying the channel!
I love the video! I was looking at these vs a Tesla. I do a lot of hauling and picking up of food supplies for a food pantry I love. The Model Y is smaller than my CRV so I was happy to see that the Prologue is going to be on the market soon. It's big and I need that! I've also been a Honda fan for the longest so this is video is giving me great insight what I can look forward to.
The only thing I want to now is about their compatiblity with Tesla chargers...would be good if they were so that it can help me a lot more with travelling. I heard that in 2025 they will be. But either way, I really like this car.
Wow! Thanks for the comment & feedback! Teslas are fine, but the interior is pretty spartan for what you pay for. I think between the size and features, you’ll be happy with your choice!
Honda has said that (eventually) an adapter will be available that will allow the Prologue to use the NACS plug, aka Tesla Superchargers.
Awesome! Yeah, we have a Model Y (my partner's) so I will just work it out with him as we do have home charging already set up. I've driven the Model Y too and it's great to see the Prologue keep the stalk. Super excited when it arrives to Austin dealerships!!!!
I have one of these and its very nice very smooth safe ride but it lacks a lot of nice things my Tesla had way back in 2018. One i really missed was the UA-cam app for when i was sitting and waiting sometimes. And Tesla Auto pilot is leaps and bounds better than the lane keep assist this thing has. The ride is great its very roomy but we will see how well it is dependable its build on the same platform as the GM models. I tried going back to a gas car, lets just say i forgot how much i was paying at the gas pump and the car got traded in within a couple thousand miles of ownership for another EV.
Thanks for the comment & detailed feedback! Out of curiosity, were you using the UA-cam app while sitting and waiting during a charge or in other instances? Also, do you have a level 2 charger installed or rely on public charging?
@@Drive_Culture Yeah it was just nice i could watch youtube on the screen in the tesla with surround sound and the screen was big. Like waiting at the air port for example or waiting for anything really just to pass the time. Also i can understate how good the tesla auto pilot was, What's really funny is the 2024 Honda civic i had traded in for the prologue the civic lane keep was better than the prologues i think they might be different. Maybe the honda Prologue got GM's lane keep assist as well, no clue.
Will he come to Turkey
Thanks for the comment! The Prologue is only be sold in North America.
