- You wont find me whipping up a wood-fired pizza during the summer too often, but I sure love a refreshing take on one with garden-based ingredients and a herb forward pesto sauce to really highlight the warm season. I have been toiling in the garden the last few weeks and kept telling myself to put something like this together since I have all the herbs to play around with, so I really hope you enjoy the recipe and shoot me some recipe requests in the comments!

Hey Byron! What impresses me more than your cooking chops is your modesty. You don't sensationalise your content, nor do you treat the process as a performance. Other channels should definitely take note. Well done! :)
Very very much appreciated! Only problem is that it seems most folks nowadays are really drawn towards fast paced food channels. I might be a bit slow for the current youth. Lol. Thank you for the recognition though! It is duly noted
@@ByronTalbottCurrent youth mostly don't cook.
@@ByronTalbottas a current youth (18) I can say that I love ur channel and the only reason I don’t rlly cook is cause my broke ass can’t rlly afford to lol. I survive off of microwaved food and food from my job (I work at Taco Bell) I’ve always wanted to cook tho. It’s why I love ur channel I don’t mean to sound selfish but watching u is like seeing my dream come true in someone else and it brings me joy
I love the extra shots of you harvesting in your garden!
I’m going to add more garden content in the next couple of videos! Glad you liked it!

I continue to dig your content, Byron. Love the seemingly seamless transition (I know it wasn't) between your west coast channel and your new kitchen here on the east coast.
👌 👌 👌
I'm not a foodie, but I watch different food videos when I'm hungry. I've always found yours to be my favorite. Love the natural vegetarian dishes
I'm still loving the chill and nice vibes you provided through the video! ❤
🙌🏻 🙌🏻
loved seeing your garden again.... enjoy
Food is varied. It is very attractive to me
Hi Byron! I'm a South Korean subscriber. I saw your video when I was in elementary school, but I 19 now !! You still know delicious dishes with great recipes☺️ I'll come by often :> Have a good day !
😮 What!!!!! I still can’t believe I’ve been doing this for 13 years!! You have no idea how much I appreciate your longtime support. See you around!!
Looks amazing. We just got our shipment of wine, olive oil, and balsamic from our trip to Tuscany. Need to make this and use some of that oil and vinegar to drizzle along with a nice bottle of Brunello di Montalcino. Anything to take me back there in spirit :)
I’m jealous!! Definitely need to use up those beautiful ingredients in a rustic flatbread. Wish I could be there to taste it!
Yum! Now I want/need an oven like yours! You’re so talented, thanks. 😊
A little secret I like. If you add dill to your dough, it makes a great dill Dough. Dill dough is delicious. as a matter of fact, pickle bacon ranch is one of my favorite pizzas. I bet if this was a dill dough it would be soo good with the rest of the ingredients you had. Could you make a dill dough episode? That would be super.
Ohhh boy. This seems like a sincere comment. I could and would definitely make a….ahem… dill dough.
Need to try this! No doubt will taste amazing with some garlic dip
Ohhhh! Yes. Garlic dip sound incredible with this pizza!
Makes so much sense prepping tomatoes in 1/3 hotter liquid. Liked the ingredients in the pesto. As usual, appealingly lit and photographed. Looked delicious.
Oh wow. Absolutely delicious.
Thank you 😋
Such a yummy way to start the day for lunch! Job well done!
Looks so amazing!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!!
Looks amazing. I think I will need to try this pizza.
Looks great Byron!
Thank you fellow foodie!!
Simple and delicious
🙌🏻 🙌🏻 🙌🏻
Well done! ❤
Thank you!!!
You've just helped me find a reason to fire up my Gozney this weekend.
Yes!
Where can I sent my CV to be a neighboor and eat you food everyday?
This looks perfect
😆
Can I bake this in a regular oven? Looks amazing!
You absolutely can!! You just might have to crank that oven up to it’s highest setting (usually 550f) for about 30 minutes and you can easily make a flatbread such as the one I made. Maybe even better.
Preheating the oven is paramount
Must be me, but I can’t find the recipe at all. Looked on your website too.
I'm totally stealing this recipe and passing it off as my own
😆 get it!
Such a wonderful recipes Sir what a creativity I am proud of you always I am addicted in your channel Sir thank you so much for uploading wonderful recipes Sir take care of your health 🥰🥹😉🤗😘☺️
Always humbled by comments like this!! I’ll keep it up as long as you guys are interested.
@@ByronTalbott Thanks alot Sir our prayers are there with you always ☺️☺️☺️
What olive oil are you using that survives the blender without getting bitter?
You must prefer a mortar and pestle no?
@@ByronTalbottThat was a serious question, there’s no need to be snarky. Even buying refined (not evoo) I find they get bitter used in a blender. So, what olive oil are you using that isn’t getting bitter in the blender?
Is there somewhere that the measurements are shown? I do not see it.
Dough recipe?
Hey, Byron! I am wondering if you would do something GLUTEN-FREE. 1 of my friend's kids has just been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. So gluten is BAD for him to eat from now on. He is Oliver's age, too, so his family has a lot to learn about how he is supposed to eat. Anything you can think of to make, without GLUTEN, would be great. Please and thank you!
Maybe consider keeping your cat inside? Outside cats have less than half the average lifespan, and most often die a gruesome death. It's perfectly possible to make a wonderful home for a cat with some catification - cat shelves, maybe a catio, cat trees. Please consider.
I completely understand the concern and am well aware of the statistics behind outdoor cats. My first cat was an outdoor cat and unfortunately it did get caught by something when I lived back in SoCal... that being said it wouldn't have lived any other way. It hated being inside and would be very vocal about its indoor stress. There's so much to learn about domesticated cats and I prefer to allow my cat (within reason) to live as It wishes. I treat my dogs in the same manner, but they do prefer to be indoors more so than any cat I've ever owned. Our current feline enjoys the outdoors very much so, but she is a 50/50 type of cat. Half inside and half outside for the most part.... she's also very good about coming inside when called unlike my first male cat. None the less, I do believe animals live a more well rounded life when allowed to roam free occasionally and that does come with certain risks.
@@ByronTalbott I respect the opinion and appreciate that you've put some thought into it, even though I still disagree.
Massive herb garden and store bought tomatoes🤔
Yet another YT "chef" who has no time to acknowledge anyone who takes time to comment ... BOOOOOOOOOOO!
Clearly thinks we are stupid- I'm giving this a quick rinse but the herbs look exactly the same in his hand. At least try dude
What!! Didn’t you hear the water in the audio? I would never pretend to wash something. How weird would that be?!!
@@ByronTalbott Yes, we heard the water and saw no wet herbage- replay your video if you aren't believing me lol- thank you anyway for replying- I'm not trying to be a troll over here
@@artfulcookingwithdawn9000 not offended at all! Just want to reassure you that they were indeed washed and sorry it didn’t translate on camera. I would NEVER pretend to wash something in my video.
