Garden Zucchini Pesto Pasta

- I love garden inspired recipes and this is one of those recipes that hits hard all spring and summer long. Even through fall this dish works great. You can easily replace the poached eggs with some fresh mozzarella or roasted tomatoes for a nice twist, but its a stellar dish just with the pasta alone! I hope you guys enjoyed the recipe and drop a comment if you have any other garden inspired recipe ideas that I should try out.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup fennel tops
1/2 cup basil leaves
1/2 cup chervil
1/4 cup cilantro
1/3 cup almonds
salt and pepper to taste
2 whole eggs
1 zucchini

That looks really good! My question is, so do you cook the zucchini at all? Or it's raw with the marinate of the pesto and that's it? Looks great!👍😋
I have a tree nut intolerance. Is there a good substitute for the almonds? Like would peanuts work with the flavors or anything else?
Any protein recommendations to go with this besides the egg? Chicken, meat, etc.
I’d probably serve this with grilled lemon/garlic chicken breast if I wanted to add some other form of protein.

I'd use the sauce with actual pasta, I think, cuz honestly a meal of sheer vegetables is not a meal for me even in summer 😂😂 I know I might not sound too healty-eating 🙃
