I recently became a mom. My husband Omi and I are proud parents of baby Dante who has been with us for almost a couple of weeks now. I wrote this song way before I got pregnant. Writing it helped me process some of the feelings and worries I had about becoming a parent, and now that Dante is here, those feelings are as true as ever. What a beautiful experience. And a scary one at times, too. But oh, he smells wonderfully. And melts my heart with his baby noises and this hilarious tiny Velociraptor scream when he's unhappy. hahaha!
Thanks for watching. And thank you for the support for the music I've shared over the years that has allowed me to carve my own path to become a full-time musician and now a mom, too.

Malukuh, I've been watching your videos and enjoying your singing since your first Dragonborn cover all those years ago.
I just became a dad earlier this year and have a sweet 6 month old boy named Kaidan, and he's already grown so much. It doesn't slow down. They just keep growing.

Only advice I can give especially for dad is that people have lied and say babies/kids grow up fast. That is a total LIE. Babies and kids grow at WARP SPEED. I still can't believe my son is over 19 now. Where has the time gone? I worked so hard, missed so much. What is the balance? Who knows. Just know your baby will be an adult soon and spend as much time with them as you can.

I don't think I'll ever be rdy when my oldest (20 this past summer and will always be my baby) is rdy to leave the nest. I may have another, but I have her for a few more yrs.
I'm with you, man. I'm freaking 45 now, my elder is 16 - and I missed SO much because...work, you know, it's so important, I thought. Gosh, I will never get that back. Enjoy as much as you can, enjoy the shitty times, enjoy the wonders. But take your time and enjoy!

This woman has sang all 3 of my daughters to sleep many a time over the years, I think she will be fine... and it also helps that she is a youTuber. Having a job with flexible hours is HUGE. When my 1st daughter was born, I was able to work whatever hours I wanted; so, me and my wife had it so that she slept from 7:00pm-3:00am, and I slept from 3:00am-11:00am; so, we both got a full night sleep every night. If the baby slept for part of your shift, well that was just free down time to enjoy life.
