- We just got back from our amazing 10 day cruise (plus arriving to Athens 2 days earlier making it almost a 2 week vacation) on the Celebrity Infinity.
This is Part 1 of our trip. This video includes our travel day to get to Athen's. Normally when making these vlogs I gloss over the flying portion but we flew ITA AIRWAYS and there is so little information out there about ITA I wanted to talk/show our experience with them. We stayed at the Marriott in downtown Athens: 385 Syggrou Ave., Palaio Faliro Athens which we took a complete room/hotel tour of! We also filmed our 1 full day in Athen's just hanging out around the hotel and then arriving at the ship port for our Celebrity Infinity Cruise! #celebritycruises #itaairways #marriotthotels

I booked my own flight because i found the same confounding issue: arriving same day as cruise departure but also arriving at sailway? And about $1500. Canadian more!!! ??? Oh and their recommended hotels were also more so i booked my own.

How much was the cab ride from Athens to the port? We are going in October. We have a place booked at the port. Still trying to decide if we want to stay there or in Athens. Appreciate any help
@@johannarodriguez3155 this was awhile ago at this point so my memory is fuzzy but I believe it was something like $25 Euro’s. It was a long ride (30-40 minutes) so that felt very fair to me. I just took a cab from midtown to downtown in NYC and with tip it cost over $30!🤦♀️

Thanks for the info. I was in Athens last year. My cousin and I rented a car a drove the western part of the country. Very beautiful. This time I am going on the infinity with my husband. The itinerary has changed since you did it. It has changed a few times since I booked it. Greece overall is very beautiful and the food is amazing. Looking forward to going back.

Pizza is good to eat any where in Europe and of course you can not eat the creek salad when in Athens
