“Only a week long cruise?” Really.

My husband and I are thinking on going MSC cruise and you guys are wonderful. I think we’re gonna do it.

We have been on Symphony from Barcelona when she was new. Agree about Windjammer being very busy. We had inside balcony towards Central. All in all we were happy with our stay.

I prefer smaller ships. I am more comfortable on smaller ships. Larger ships are crowded, and more kids and services suffer because of too many people. This ship was no exception; it appeared very crowded. I don’t mind kids, per se, as long as they are disciplined. But, in today’s world, that is the exception, not the norm. The worst are the entitled parents who witness this terrible behavior and fail to acknowledge it. I’m used to ships where food is available at multiple locations for all but one or two hours. I’ve never rented a Casita, but I don’t have to rent one to say it appears overpriced. I don’t think you wine too much. People want to know the negatives before they spend money. You are correct about not having enough time on board. A ship of this size requires 12 to 14 days-another reason for liking smaller ships. I have advanced and rescue Padi certifications, and I think it irresponsible for cruise ships to offer these abbreviated courses. I was a Police Rescue Diver, and one of the dangerous aspects of our work was inexperience. If you get into trouble underwater, you may drown before anyone even knows you have an issue. Then you have to factor in the fact that there are 18 decks and unreliable elevators. How many mobility-impaired passengers are on board would be a guess, but I suspect there are enough that a number of passengers might have issues. Larry from Texas

WOW! What a blast from the past! I worked with Gary in Miami in 2008. He was a principle in a production of 1776 and I was the sub keyboard 2 player for a few performances. It was my first professional job when I was 18 and Gary was so kind backstage. He treated me so well and like any of the other seasoned professional involved. Great to see Gary's face after so many years!

We are booked to do that cruise April 28 - May 8, 2025. We are really looking forward to this cruise.

We did our first Celebrity cruise to Alaska in 2014. We loved it, it was in laterJune and weather was cooler. We were in Juneau during the summer solstice. It was such a beautiful cruise. I would definitely not recommend going in May as the weather is still very cool.

I had to fight with Allianz for MONTHS to get about $200 that they very clearly owed me for a canceled flight once. I eventually won but they pulled every dirty trick in the book to avoid paying.

What happened to first come, first serve, instead of “I’ll wait until the last moment and cut ahead of everyone.” It seems fair to me that you could have chosen the times when you made the purchase. One might expect that purchasing the Unlimited Specialty Dining Package (not cheap) would have a few privileges. You said, “Unless the shrimp shrank …” Well, you did say it was cold outside. Filet Mignon-that is supposed to be the most tender cut WTF? The last tough roast I had was sirloin tip-they must have given you that or it was over cooked. I would MVAS, MSC but not Costa-I hear very smoker friendly. Carninival seems like rowdy booze cruise.
