It’s fun I would wait until they fix the ticket thing you can trade players for tickets that way you can unlock other packs and the season is bare bone as hell
Saber REALLY screwed this game for anyone wanting the depth that having SEASON STATS could have provided. And its not really THAT "DEEP" but stats go a long way for some of us.For a video football game (arcade or sim or between), any type of Season mode should include Season STATS. I'm just dumb founded Saber couldn't invest just a little more $ in tracking Season stats and adding one simple season stats screen that tracks team leaders in runs, passes and other typical season-like stats found in almost all other video football games. Madden on 3DS did the same thing... a bare bones Season mode with no season stats. You get the standings screen and schedule. Really really lame... AND add to this, we can't change camera angle, no audibles, no spin moves. Is it really THAT hard to add this stuff Saber?
I think the no audibles thing is fine because it would really devalue their “card” system. Now I do 100% agree the season mode needs some attention- and you’re right, even a simple stats or “league leaders” would go a long way!
The best Nintendo football game in 20 years, hyperbole much? It's not even the best Nintendo football game in the last 20 weeks. Someone really needs to play Legend Bowl.
I disagree- not a fan of Legend Bowl, and every Madden since the Gamecube days were terrible ports in my opinion. And that mutant football game was horribly optimized for Switch.
@@obscuristgaming I did get a lot of enjoyment with Madden 07 on the Wii and thought it was a great port and felt it played as well as '05 etc. As for later versions I can't disagree with you and EA ruined it with that All Play garbage. I didn't play Mutant League Football on the Switch, as I played it on PS4 and it got old fast so I wasn't going to subject myself to it again especially given what I'd heard about the port. I can easily see the gameplay with this game going the same way as MLF and not having any longevity. I'd argue that even Axis Football '23 is a better game than this, despite having quite a few issues, hopefully '24 will rectify the most glaring ones. That said, maybe I just don't find any enjoyment in arcade football games, especially when I feel that this has all the trappings/mechanics of a mobile/F2P title but with a more premium asking price than it warrants.
Thanks for sharing, I agree with a lot of what you said, and I had similar experiences with that All Play stuff back in the day. Someday I’ll get around to playing the Axis games, which I know nothing about. I do agree there is a definitely a F2P inspired presentation here and that part of it is off-putting for sure. I also hope they expand upon the season mode in the future.
Too many cutscenes and animations. Games are too long and get boring really fast also lack of commentary and lack of content makes this game pretty average. 5/10
Great review of the game. I actually didn't know about this game until I watched your video, but it looks pretty fun. I might have to pick it up.

Yes ❤
Great great review…picking up today on Switch, will digital it!!
Nice! I actually went digital with this one too, which is rare for me. Enjoy!
Do you know if it’s possible to play two players with the joycons? I’m struggling with that part since I don’t have extra controllers.
Just tested it. There is no single-con control set up that I can tell, so you’ll each need a set of joycons/controllers.
@@obscuristgaming dang it. Thank you for checking!!
Hi, how does the Dream Squad mode work offline ?
Awesome
I want to buy this
Do you have to have a nintendo subscription to play
Yes! I'm 99% sure you do. I think only "free games" don't require a Nintendo Online subscription to play online.
