ahahahhahaha U were able to transform a dramatic situation in a funny one with few words. I would kill my self if someone leaves the door open and i loose my beloved cats.
LMAOOO This comment tickled me
There are street cats that will return to the same house every day if you leave food out for them, this lady must have been the worst for that cat to bolt.
@@JusticeForNicholeAlloway True. There are also the house cats that turn feral once they leave.
Even the cat got tired of living there and left lmao

Tbh as lazy as the wife probably is, where do you think she learned it from? The mom is probably just as lazy which is why it was an issue to help.
Your genius is showing
Thank you! Preach!
Bingo
Not really. Growing up I had a friend who grew up to be a complete slob to the point it was hard to walk into her apartment from the shear amount of garbage on the floor. Her mother always kept her house spotless. So sometimes its not "like mother like daughter". What I think happened its either the mother coddled the daughter and did everything for her including picking up after her (as my friend mother did) or she was dirty and taught her to be dirty.
That's not her mom, it's her MIL. But the place has definitely been filthy for some time if they couldn't or wouldn't let Dr. Phil's people in . . .that mandated reporting will get ya every time
They’re all petty. They’re all lazy. They’re all liars. The cat knew when to go and never look back.
amen
Ya!!!
Your right but the friend should called the CPS if the children are being beat and they are physically sick due to their living conditions!
CPS ain't worried about some dirty dishes. There more to this story
Right, thats why they wouldn't let them film inside her house. Lazy afff
The house has to be filthy. Or the report was so detailed that it made them go out.
Well obviously they still have their kids so cps wasnt too worried
I feel sorry for the cat to deal with all these crazy people and the kids
Thats what I'm saying!
When the guy is asking his MOTHER IN LAW to move in... Then you know the wife is lazy.... *They wanted a free or low budget maid* 🤷♀️☻
I mean the guy's equally as lazy if he doesn't try to help either 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ I just leave all the housework to the woman and then call her lazy 🙄
@@niamphdollieofficial True...
Eira Zea they said that she couldn’t afford to live own her and feed herself so they moved in
Imani Floyd yeah, a maid that pays them an additional rent of $650/month, why not LOL?
Accurate
The cat must've been the smartest out of this whole situation
I would never charge my mother rent. I would never ask for a formal agreement with my mum.
This is odd family behaviour to me.
They have no love no relationship at all
Two unhealthy ladies!
At most I'd ask my mother to help out with cooking and maybe groceries from time to time. I could never imagine charging my mother for rent.
I mean my parents charge my sister rent, I don’t think its so strange. Adults need to pitch in, pull their own weight
I would, because I wouldn't be able to afford having her around otherwise. My budget is beyond tight.
It sounds like they are full of excuses. Your house is filthy because you're lazy and you're not teaching your kids to pick up after themselves.
Even my 4 yo son, know what to do when he spill his drink on the floor... Take the cloth and wipe it,
They are liars. That house is definitely trashed if they didn't let Dr. Phil's crew in there to film.
Not necessarily. From what I know they usually interview the whole family at the same time. If the parents work opposite work schedules and communication is off, then it is completely plausible that they just couldn't get everyone together to do the home interview. Besides, CPS can't take children based on dirty dishes and clothes on the floor. They have to have a doctor or law enforcement call them to take the kids. Cockroaches are a common intercity problem, no matter how clean you are, so that is no indication of dirtiness. It's like mice in forested areas, they need a place to live with food nearby. Doesn't mean the home isn't clean, just that nature likes you extra specially. Five days for photos makes sense as well, especially based on what they said and how they interact. If the grandma said she would help. she should have. I have been in that situation, and I have seen the results of that. I let my mother live with me rent free to watch the kids (two girls) while I worked. I ended up losing my job because she would show up to my job with them and claim she just couldn't do it. She would berate my managers about my work schedule, made my date pay her the one time I went out without the kids, and told me to keep him because he knows the rules(?). She was living rent free with all her belongings in my home, I barely had any of my stuff, then she threw it all out when I moved out and destroyed our written agreement about my things being stored in the basement room until I got a truck to move everything. I had collectables and things of sentimental value down there, and she couldn't get down the stairs anyways. So I sympathize with the daughter and son in law, but I think that charging 650 for rent and cable is a bit excessive on top of childcare and helping around the house.
@@catherinedavis-sparks2669 So I guess this is only the third time in the history of Dr Phils show that two people had conflicting work schedules? Five days sounds like they they wanted time to clean up their pig sty for the photos.
lil alexus And they wanted an elderly woman that happens to be their mother to clean in for them. I could never treat my mother like that .

@@sailormoon206 she was supposed to be paying $650 a month.
sailormoon206 asking her to clean, take care of the kids AND pay 650 for rent is asking way TOO much. Are they just gonna ignore the fact the mom accused their house of being infested with roaches

OMG the woman is 70 years old. Charging her rent, expecting her to housekeep for 3 adults, 4 children is just too much. Help, fair enough but not do it all 🤦
The daughter is dirty before before the mother came in.. their intentions were to get their mom in to be their personal slaves.. shame on you!
Can the husband say anything else that ISNT ‘because of my work schedule...’ ? He keeps deviating from the question
Men always use that excuse 🙄🙄🙄 you're a hard-working husband like there is single mothers out there with three jobs and can handle children better than this guy just an excuse not to do anything
Right? My husband works all day and still comes home and helps me out with our 3 kids and cleaning. This guy is just lazy and is making up excuses for it.
If I'm cleaning and babysitting I'm gone need a discount on that 650
Right?650?🙅🏻
Oddly enough I'm kind of on Mom's side. Sounds to me like they wanted someone to give them money AND do the chores. Then they let their kids do whatever they want - I'd put a deadbolt on my door too.
Me too
Grandma told to pay rent (abomination in my culture) and still do child care and cleaning? Hello
im on neither side. theyre all morons!
Mallory's Outlet honestly I’m not saying that here calling the cops was smart because it was definitely stupid and moronic. But they had her paying 600 for rent 50 for cable then doing babysitting and house cleaning. Idk where they live but typically a good babysitting charges between 15 and 25 and hour for one kids then they add a couple bucks per additional kid so they got free childcare instead of paying a couple hundred a week. Then they got free housecleaning instead of paying money for a house cleaner. They were taking full advantage of that women. I would have also but a deadbolt on my door. She needed tome to herself to and her own personal space.
The fact that she calls her mom “Liz” is shocking to me.
I think alot of westerners call their parents/ aunts, uncles etc by the name. Totally rude to us asians, as it shows we got no respect for our elders
P Jp that man is being dramatic all the time and that woman is horrible to call her mother liz that’s so horrible shows the way they are . He says his wife had health issues maybe she does I have it myself but to have your older mother slave cleaning is so wrong
@@animesong10hourschallengeb79 Most of us think its disrespectful too,at least I do! I wonder how that gets started to call ur parents by thier name? I couldnt,I think its disrespectful and would just feel so awkward.
@@winterbirds8022 the first thing my parents taught me was their names, their phone numbers,my home address. I do believe its disrespectful to call your parents by name but you do need to know their names in case something happens .
My mom and her sisters call my grandma by her name. It’s not a disrespect thing, it’s just because when they were little, my grandma was always around her sisters in law (they all live in the same area). So when they called to her as “mom”, no one knew who they were talking about. So they just started calling her “Sue” so it wouldn’t cause confusion.
“She accused your two year old of losing her cat.”
*What-*
Grandma looks a little off but believe when she said the house had roaches and many dirty dishes
She agreed though that she would do that work.
@@JusticeForNicholeAlloway she agreed to HELP with cleaning. Not do everything.
Newt Queen Yeah there’s a difference between helping around the house and being a 24/7 maid who pays rent
If the house is disgusting and the grandma had to take care of kids. She shouldn't have to pay rent. That was good enough
@@JusticeForNicholeAlloway She agreed that she helps with chores and helps babysit. What kind of children steal from grandma???
Them not allowing the show to come shoot there just proves the accusations. I have 4 kids yes it can get messy quick!!! But dishes are always done sweeping is done. I might leave a toy or two out but it gets cleaned regardless. 15minutes in the evening of quick cleaning does the job especially of you keep up with it throughout the day
So what you're saying is grandma couldn't be bothered with doing 15 minutes of work every day in exchange for a place to live, then called the cops on her own granddaughter, and that's cool with you.

Haha the daughter and son in law are just making a million and one excuses 😂🤦♂️
She didn't help because yall were living in squalor before she moved in.
Exactly. You can tell the husband only decided to move his mother in law in because he wanted more money and a maid to do the chores and watch the children.

The only person who isn't lying. That cat just left. Great decision.
😂😂😂
More than dishes was dirty that’s why they couldn’t film the house.
$650 is rent for a single person anyway. Then that and babysitting. I feel like the mom made the commitment to help and then they treated her like she was supposed to do all of it i.e. stopped cleaning the house and dealing with their own children. I hate lazy people that try to blame working on making them incapable of raising their family. If you can't go to work and maintain your home, you're not an adult. There's no situation where you could say "oh I just stopped doing laundry because I have a job." You suck.
Hyacinth Niemann I was thinking the same thing! I would never charge my mom or my own family that much, of that was the case you could just get your own. I’m renting a 2 bedroom ranch house for 650 lolll. That’s crazy 😩😩
They charged their mom. Greedy. Plus she had to do domestic and babysitting at her age. Shame on them. Wish the same on her.
Thank you
Demi Dubach studio is different. That is a whole apartment. I love in the most expensive place to live in the the US and you can still find a closet like room for 650/700, in a 4-5 bedroom apt with roommates. They are few and far in between, but they exist. Charging you grandmother 650 + childcare + cleaning is just disgusting. People offer free room and board for childcare and LIGHT cleaning here to complete strangers.
Hyacinth Niemann before covid I was working a full time job and a 30hour extra job. My house was still cleaned and laundry done during that time
Having the mother-in-law pay $650 rent plus $50 cable TV sounds excessive to me in addition to expecting her to babysit 4 children. Part of the story is missing, I'm sure.
You don’t know what their relationship is. How do you know that her mother wasn’t nurturing growing up.
The fact that this daughter calls her own mother Liz. I am also not buying that child protective services showed up over a couple of dirty dishes, it takes more than that. What don’t they want Dr. Phil and his team to see...
Ohio Girl no matter what the reason is, if a call is made, DCF must investigate.
Tatsi ___oOh lLa lLa my great aunt worked for them in Ohio and that’s not always true. If it is known it is a frivolous call they can send a welfare check of sorts but it’s not a full on investigation. They get calls were people are just trying to stir up trouble and than their are really homes that need looked at and children that need to be protected.
That is so cringeworthy each time she calls her own mother Liz? That’s so disrespectful smh
These parents are absolutely lazy. I am old and my tactic is, I do something, take some rest, do something again, next rest and so on. At the end I am done. It takes more time but enough time to rest as well.
Daughter calling mom, “Liz.” smh letting mom do all the house chores.
Girl my friend has 7 kids including her, and all of their friends, and their house is normal.
The one im feeling most bad for, is the cat. I hope she found a better home.
I had never even heard the term "CPS" or "Child Protective Services" when I was growing up.
You're lucky!

On my my understanding this woman is just Lazy but wanted to use her mom as maid
Coco Butter I was thinking the same thing

On the other hand though, that was part of the agreement when she moved in. I was in a situation once where I moved in with family and part was that I would help out. I did everything possible because I was so grateful to them! There were 9 people in the house, I did laundry, dishes, cleaning toilets, vacuuming, dusting...everything just to show my appreciation.
I would see something was amiss and tidy it, if I saw someone get up to make coffee I would hop up and beat them to it for them!
Don’t be ungrateful when invited into someone else’s home. That is their house, their space that you are in.

Calamity Natalie exactly, plus both parents had full time jobs. Though the house should never have been that dirty.
i would never do that to my mother, she sacrificed her life to raise me for free, now as an adult and mom i always make my mother like a queen when my mother is in my house
I think the parents thought they would have grandma move in and she was going to pick up the slack like cooking and cleaning and watching the kids. Sorry guys, that only happens with the Asians and Latins lol

You have to provide shelter for your child it’s the law. The mom isn’t a child she isn’t owed anything. They probably don’t have enough money bc they have 4 kids 🙄
Maybe it depends on the mother and daughter dynamic, but if I moved back into my mother's house I'd want to help with bills and such since I'd be adding to her electricity and gas bills, along with food bills. And vice versa really. If my mother moved in with me she would want to financially help me out too.
I really think it depends on you as a person and your relationship with your parents and its also fine to say you wouldn't charge them anything.
Ugh Ugh Your parents provided you the basic essentials for survival because you weren’t old enough to provide for yourself and they chose to have you. That doesn’t mean you owe your parents anything.
Children don’t ask to be born. The parent decided to have a child, the parent is in charge of that child. Her mother is capable of pulling her own weight. They did her a FAVOUR by letting her move in when she couldn’t afford her rent.
The cat made a great escape from the castle of dirtiness.
Didn't the Grandma admit she called CPS and asked them not to report, but also, she said that she sent photos to a friend and they called CPS. Like pick one ●~●
The house was probably a huge mess. Yes. But dirty dishes is not a reason for CPS. So that part confuses me.
It is "refreshing" to see examples of misbehaving parents on Dr. Phil instead of misbehaving children...
Without making excuses for the daughter and her husband...the irony of this is that if grandma was dissatisified with how the housework and raising the kids was done by her daughter (even though Grandma was supposed to help out...wich in itself shows her miserable character), then that's a direct reflection of how she raised her daughter. This is what many parents of grown kids don't understand, you can't write checks you can't cash because you never invested propperly in the first place. 🤷♀️ That's just not how that works. Don't raise your kids as goldfish then be shocked when they fail to walk on land. Lol.
Eeeeexactly.

If the cat took off and didn't come back, that means it's not a very good place to live. Cats have built-in GPS they never get lost. If that cat didn't come back there was a reason.
I understand them wanting their mother to help out a little bit, but why should she have to clean up after their whole family?
Not quite true. Most cats will actually stick close to their home (is not roamers or naturally outdoor cats) if they are indoor cats. In fact, they'll hide even, out if fear. Sometimes they hide from familiar voices and humans because of that fear. They hunker down and hide, sometimes to their own detriment.
Cats have to be inside for a certain period of time when they move or they will not be able to relocate back to their home.
@@theonejokeking3191 when I moved, I only moved down the street from my old home. My cat got out and we found her in the yard of our old house. The cat was probably trying to figure out how to get back to it's old home.

As I see it, these two entitled people expected the mother to do everything. They expect the grandmother to be the maid basically. I would and could NEVER let my mother be homeless, no matter what!
There is definitely WAY more to this story. I highly doubt dirty dishes was a priority for cps to get involved
At your mother age, your children will treat u the same way u are treating your mother. What goes around, comes around

She said he better bring it to her or she's going to call the cops on him. My kids wishes she would move out but she doesn't know how to save money. She only get a little over a thousand but decided to get extra health insurance for 200 something. It's bad enough I have to barrow money from her for electricity which is actually in her name. I took over so she could save money but she keeps buying stuff she doesn't need. She was able to save for a trip to England but can't save for a place to stay or a car. I have never been that fond of my mother but her living in the house with me was never the plain. Unfortunately it happened. She was complaining things weren't getting done her way. Ordering the kids. I finally told her she doesn't need to tell them anything I'm the only one that needs to tell them anything because it's my house. Things will get done the way I want them to. She would argue saying my son did something she didn't have proof of and not stop about it. i get my son gets things that are not his but why keep going and threatening him with no proof. Then she has to apologize when she finds it and realizes he didn't do it. If I make cookies or go somewhere or anything without telling her she throwing sympathy act into the mix. Why didn't u tell me. I would tell you. I always invite you to eat my food that I make. Why didn't you tell me you were going to the store. No body wants her around we just deal with the fact she here.
That daughter is racking up her own bad karma. She's evil and will lose that good man.
He didn't clean the house either
lol he's not a "good man". he's a simp who doesn't make his wife accountable for her own actions because he himself has no accountability as a father or husband. he's a beta male. L
The "good man" is just like her. No way they lose each other, they stick together.
Parents with multiple young children have dirty houses, this is ridiculous.
Dirty no, messy for sure.
Yeah, not dirty. You cannot just say that universally. We have two young kids. Our house gets messy/cluttered, but I clean it up by the end of the day and we start fresh the next day.
Messy yes but not piled up dishes, I came from a big family and out house was always clean
Id be pissed if someone lost my cat. Theyre like family. Id never get over that.
With 7 people living in my house, I can assure you it gets overwhelming and very dirty. Its not unlivable or toxic, its just messy.
“With my work schedule” lmao nasty adults, do the dishes
but i dont wanna do the dishes i rather play on internets watching dr phil
That house is definitely nasty. That woman probably comes home from work and sits and eats. Smh, the excuses. Help those children!
Horrible couple! Asking your mom to pay rent in your house ??? Really? So this couple just wanted to have a nanny, a cleaner and a boarder! Karma is coming soon!
We didn't have a work schedule that allowed a camera crew in our home.......but we had time to fly here and come on the show. 🤔😂😂😂
