Sticky and sweet tour in 2009 was the tour making the most money for a female artist. And the legend is there. She's still alive and she's amazing.
She's reluctant to work with Pat again because choosing William Orbit to produce Ray of Light instead of Pat after he'd already co-written some of it's songs with her put a rift in their working relationship.

Songs like History and Cyberraga and Ain't No Big Deal aren't really unreleased but sort of unheard by regular fans. Same with Get Stupid and Sorry Remix that I threw on the CDs. 'New' songs to most people.
I’m so in love with this gem. One of her best vocal performances ever!!! Raw and unpolished. I miss this Madonna. Miss her a lot. I’m surprised it wasn’t a B-Side. I definitely would have made it one.

My first thought as well, it's actually very close sounding to Supernatural. I suspect that may be why it didn't make the album and why Supernatural was relegated to being a b-side - too close to Who's that Girl/True Blue and not close enough to the sound of Like a Prayer.

Good on Pat Leonard releasing these LAP demos for free for fans to enjoy. One of her old house keepers from this time had been given a cassette by M of the demos and some finished tracks for the album that would become LAP. M wanted her house keeper to listen to the tape when she was driving around and then tell her what songs she liked best and what songs she found herself remembering and singing along with. The house keeper had put her cassette in an auction and she was going to have rich fans out bidding each other to hear these unreleased songs but Pat said that the fans should hear them for free! ❤❤🎉🎉

I don’t think this was recorded as part of the Like A Prayer sessions. It sounds like pre LAP stuff. I reckon this was a 1988 recording session for a track to go with the Sean Penn movie ‘No Angels’ which was filmed in 1988 and was written by David Mamet who also wrote ‘Speed the Plow’ which Madonna starred in throughout 1988. And the lyrics also sound like they were written on assignment to fit a movie title. It’s so wonderful to hear something new from this era and I wish they’d work together again but I’m also glad this was not on ‘Like a Prayer’, it would have been a step backwards musically compared to everything else on the album and it would have been a mistake to put a 1987/88 sounding track on a 1989 album. Pop music was evolving quickly back then

This song has the remnants, sound and feel of the Who's That Girl to You Can Dance era...maybe very early in the Like A Prayer process.
Absolutely love! Some of Madonna's best material remains unreleased. She should do a compilation of all unreleased material and demos.
