Miles spilling the T, "I don't want to take my phone off of airplane mode, so i'm not going to. I don't even know when i'm gonna turn it back on, probably when I need something from someone." Great video, keep it up!
Your mom came into REI to brag about you. I thought she was overselling the video y’all made but bro this is a outstanding video and an even more outstanding experience y’all had!
Nothing better than riding bikes and fishing. I think lots of us knew this when we were kids but it's easy to forget it. Great video, thanks for posting!
This was done very well, also I love the use of older bikes and just making things work. Don't overcomplicate things, it's more about getting out there.
This was great! You see so many GD or some 1000+ mile bikepacking video's on YT, I think it can be alienating and scare a lot of people away from what its all about. Get out there with friends, It doesn't matter if its a 30 mile overnighter, a 130 mile 10K+ ele gain weekend trip or some month long expedition, its all about the people you're with and the adventure you have along the way!
I loved your trip!!! You live in a spectacular spot of this country!! Especially loved the fly pack, going to give the minimalist trip a go this year as well your right you don’t need all that fly gear but we take it anyway!!! Lol
Beautifully filmed and edited guys. Lovely stuff. I'd love to get back into fly fishing again, but travelling has made it difficult. Maybe someday soon.
This video was perfect. My son and I are planning a camping/fly fishing trip in that very area this summer. Unfortunately he is not into the bikepacking part of it. Our initial thought for basecamp was Red Meadow Lake, but then started thinking maybe Kintla in GNP. Your initial goal was Red Meadow Lake, should we go back to that plan? Love the idea of the high alpine lake and small campground. Thoughts?
What a great watch. I go to NW Montana once a year to fly-fish or bike but I have never done both! Side note: you are good at casting but if you kept the tip of your rod 10 inches higher right after you cast, you would hook a lot more of those strikes - not trying to be critical just want you to catch em :)
Phelps, you gotta get back to Sewanee soon! They just stocked the Elk with cutthroat. I bet you have never caught a Tennessee cutthroat before, we got the fly fishing club back up and running and got a bunch of guys who would love to meet you. - Will
Did you go to Sewanee? I just watched your Henry's Fork video (I'm going out in July) and then this came up which I watched over a can of Heinz beans ghetto Monday lunch. C'97 here. I'm in Barcelona if you get over here I'll put you on some tanks.
Thanks Rune! It’s a pack made by Tufa Climbing, a local company that makes packs out of old sails. Unfortunately I don’t think they are producing packs right now but you might be able to find one online.
My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done. All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.

Very nice video. It helps that the people in it are super genuine and interesting. Glad I came across it!
Great Video, enjoyed the minimalist aspect to the trip.
Fantastic! As much as I like Scottys films you are the best.
Living vicariously thru your adventures🚵

You guys are incredible...winging it on all levels! Great camera work, Will! Very creative angles, editing, and background music.
Just came across your video. Watched it having supper. I enjoyed both a lot. Thanks for posting. Keep riding & be safe out there...
Probably my favorite video you've done. Well done man!
Much appreciated Chris!
Great editing, cinematography (drone/bike/handheld!), storytelling and music. I feel like I know y’all! Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Thanks for sharing your adventure! I will go to trip and do fly fishing like you, being careful about over packing.
Well done, I was sore just from watching it.

Nicely done. Inspirational adventure.
Excellent content guys, my favorite type of video. Thanks 👍🏼
It's amazing what adventures lie just outside your back door when you live where I do.
Great video guys. Going on a 4 day trip on Isle of Mull and Ardnamurchan in Scotland in April. Gonna take your advice and take our time.
A good and proper adventure. Well done.
You conveyed your message so well, such an awesome video dude !
This is literally my dream. Building my first touring bike now. Fly fish and bikes for the win
Great story and such an epic adventure! I was parplexed by how you had that cam mounted low on your bike wheel/frame??? So sick
Great video! I have to admit I lol'ed when you said "little PA" and held up a size 12 🤣🤣🤣 out here in CO "little" would mean size 22 tied on 6x
Great video vlog.
Yea I’m adding this to my bucket list
Dude SICK content. Great stuff. Love it.
You guys are living my dreams. Keep at it.
Bad ass, come rip a two-day trip with me on Fish Creek, MT. 35 miles of great fishing and biking.

Nice! Great vid!
Beautifully filmed and edited guys. Lovely stuff.
I'd love to get back into fly fishing again, but travelling has made it difficult. Maybe someday soon.
Long time no see, looking forward to this one
Bruh what is this advanced taint based bottle closure technique? 3:10

Hey Sewanee alum (C'97) and graphic designer here. If I can join the Sewanee flyfishing club I'll happily design a trucker hat. Who's in?
WE ARE IN! That would be so sweet

Straight from the house!!!
Great video! May I know what camera/equipment are you using during this trip? Thank you 😊
That was fun!
Красивая природа
Great 👍😊
really good story, sorry what did you record all of this with? thanks
Awesome film will! Great idea and well executed! I bet your legs were burning 🔥 🔥 🔥
looks fun
Cool video and thanks for sharing your adventure! What was the rod you were using?
Thanks KJ! I was using a 7’ 4wt H2. I like fishing the rod but it has a tendency to break since it’s so fragile and small.
Great stuff! Can I ask for the ID of the hip pack/sling at 12:01? All best

Miles is da boy😎
Tenkara rods!
Miles is my type of guy
Mine too. Check out the latest vid
Thanks!

Check out Beau Miles for some more inspiration!
