Where do you get all these antique horns?

I have been collecting and restoring horns for over 15 years. I find most of these horns on eBay. I also find them on Facebook Trumpet groups and from private collectors. Thanks for watching.

Are those engravings on the bell or a pattern that was stained on? If they are engravings that is seriously impressive handiwork. Beautiful instrument regardless.

Those are actual engravings on the bell. Many of the old instruments had beautiful engraving on them. Some have engraving all over the horn. They were usually done that way for a specific buyer. It is beautiful artwork. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.

Love the pretty details on the bell. The sound is amazing. Thanks for keeping this going. Did you have any recent finds that you added to your collection?

It is a really beautiful horn. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, I have found some very interesting horns. I will have to restore a few before I make a video with them. But I have some that are in fairly good shape that I’ll be demonstrating in the near future. Thanks so much for your interest and thanks for watching.

Probably not as many as a normal cornet. But not many still survive any longer. Thanks for watching.
