Exactly, he should of reassured them that it’s ok to speak up if that guy had done anything to them.
First video definitely had grooming involved. No way 6 middle school kids would willingly get in a car with a stranger without a promise of something.
As someone who works with middle school kids, any adult claiming to hang out with them as friends needs to be investigated. There is no way anyone other than their parents would enjoy that, and not be up to something

Yeah, when I was about ten, I saw a couple of 18 year olds making out in a field. The guy and girl chased me down and held me down. Then the guy started taking off my clothes. He pulled up my shirt while she grabbed my pants. I thought I was going to be molested. Luckily, she started scratching my stomach with her nails and tickling me. That's all they wanted to do was give me a 'pink belly' as they called it back then. But I was scared sh-tless for a second, when I though she was going for my privates. Kids should never endure that lifelong trauma.

That first one definitely feels like he's a "family friend" of one of the parents. It's sick how predators get involved with families that have children so they can be trusted with them.
Yea he’s definitely a family friend who’s a frickinn weirdo
I found out recently that my friend’s boyfriend was a pedo and I just feel gross about it now knowing she has several small children
The boy in the back seat said that the 12 year old girl in the passenger seat (the one he raped and impregnated) was a friend of the guy’s daughter. So he could’ve easily promised an even involving all of the kids and lured them into the car that way
You’re right. Investigating that story , the grandma of the pregnant 12 yr old has shared his texts with the girl from jail- using the phone of a shady guard. Those kids have been failed repeatedly- it’s incredible.

And that sort of hostility is how escalation happens and gets people killed. Absolutely terrifying behavior.
Hey, not everyone likes kids you know!
@desensitizedanalyser5624 that is honestly irrelevant
@kevinc1162 no. It is! How come we're allowed to speak that harshly to grown-ups and adult victims, but God forbid we make a kid uncomfortable because a child is soooo much more important than an adult!!! Seriously, when will society start valuing adults???

The way the first officers spoke to the teens in the car is perfectly acceptable. Kids can do dumb shit at that age and he was absolutely firm in demanding the truth from them.
That cop shouldn’t have been talking to those kids like that. They were scared for their lives the man probably had threaten them if they spoke and told the truth.
I am 100% positive that the cop was being calm the first few times while asking them but he needs to know the information about the kids (their age in specific) and they won't tell him. So then he resorts to scare tactics to get them to talk. Classic good cop bad cop.

Its just absolutely heartbreaking watching this. Especially in that second case.. How are you gunna steal a car with a kid in the backseat and not let him out. That poor kid now has to live with that memory..

And he said the normal black saying when pulled over or pitted. Good luck you almost killed the kid. How about that.
that kid at the end snitched ole kevin all the way out 😂
I could never stay so calm, I could never hold back on these creeps
So the first guy, he had to have been some kind of family friend. I wonder how often and for how long he had had been doing this. If he used any of the kids to lure other kids. It's just sickening.
I read an article that said he met them on an app. He was sleeping with (raping) two twelve yr old twins and got one of them pregnant. He was telling them they were his girlfriends. My guess is he probably bought them alcohol and they invited their friends to come hang out too..and drink with them. He probably asked the girls to bring friends. I don't know..just seems like he had to be doing something to get them to hang out with them
@JimNasium71 ah with that extra info I think your explanation makes sense. It also explains why they were hesitant to give their ages at first, they were probably afraid they'd get in legal trouble for drinking alcohol.

I don’t appreciate how the cop was speaking with the children, I feel like he definitely needed to be more gentle with them and they would’ve felt safer to talk
That first cop is an asshole, why would he be so cold to literal children in a dangerous situation?
Maybe to get it through their heads that they were in danger I guess, also high stress doesn't help and I'd be getting pissed off if a Kid wasn't listening while trying to get them away from a pedo. could he have done better, maybe but at least they weren't taken away by a pedo
Intimidation tactics.
First cop was thinking that the bad guy "groomed" those kids to lie. They were not cooperative when the bad guy was inside the car.
This is a process, if they are afraid they are gonna lie and the cop gonna see through their face. It’s a good way to make them tell the true
They lied about their ages when he asked the first time.

I've seen the Jeremy Guthrie bodycam footage a few times, and I always hate the way the Sergeant (of all people) talks to the victims. It's a very sensitive situation for any victim, especially minors, and shouting at them only serves to isolate them further, from law enforcement and adults in general.
*yawns* 🥱 let’s just be glad the officer pushed the issue and removed these children from this nasty bastard. Easy to nit-pick from behind a keyboard. Saving children from a child-molester, kidnapper, possible homicide-commiting deranged monster? THAT should be the focus.

Those kids are so lucky, they were headed for a death sentence or child trafficking
I'm careful with my kids when we are out but I've told them that if someone grabs them and tries to carry them off to be sure to say this isn't my mom or dad. How many times do we see adults carrying a child out of a store that's freaking out. And we just assume the kids having a tantrum.
There was a case where a woman stole a baby from a man in a parking lot. She screamed like he was trying to take her baby. People ran over and took the man down. I think she almost got away but he was able to show photos on his phone and that proved it when the police got there, something like that, I can’t remember the details exactly. @@runeingebretsen8378 I'd caution against making assumptions since you don't know what you're talking about, but anyway, no he was putting groceries away in his car when she grabbed the baby and ran to her car which was close by and made a scene to get help.

I just love how the kid in the third scenario, as soon as the officer opens the car door, just spits the facts out like “This guy stole my dad’s truck. He is not my dad”. You go boy, you go!
I love how the cop held the boy but didn’t appreciate how he wasn’t listening to him
that burp at 4:58 got me dying
The first police officer did a terrible job talking to the kids so coldly and harshly. They were minors, terrified, and confused.
Its the classic game of good cop bad cop. He's not actually like that hes only acting.

The "not me" cop has so much restraint. I was waiting for him to drag that dude. Imagine if the father got there in time.
Thank you for being informative
That one guy who impregnated a 12 year old is messed up
That first officer is a total jerk. If he suspected kidnapping, talking to them so aggressively doesn’t show much empathy. He needs some more training.
It’s there job, they can’t show that, they were trained to fight and to protect. Not to show empathy or be nice. Get it right.
@@valerslayz34 not to show empathy to children that have been kidnapped and rapped!? Are you serious!?
idiot@@valerslayz34
also it's spelled "their", bootlicker idiot@@valerslayz34
@@GratefulNachos yes but that’s not there job? They can’t be dealing with kids while they have to deal with the actual problem. The girl, didn’t answer his question, he was asking nicely but she wouldn’t say a thing? Why don’t you learn and do your research instead of commenting on something you don’t know
This is why I keep my kids close and near me all the time. It’s truly horrific out there!

Gosh that poor kid :( you can tell he was horrified.
2:54 "its possible he did just forgot to button his fly" bro ended his whole entire life when he said that😂😂😂💀☠️💀
For those who don't know what i said is Catching Killers said he forgot to button his pants, he calls his pp in his pants a fly because a fly is small, so he's saying that the man that kidnapped 6 kids has a small pp
Notice how the officer in front of the suspect 8:59 comes in about to put his knee down on him😂😂😂but hesitates then starts awkwardly pushing his head while yelling “put ur head down! ur under arrest!”😭💀
