Actually remember watching this back in 1977 on U.K. BBC 1’s Top of the Pops. Elton John oddly was hosting this particular edition of the Show. Normally it would DJs from BBC Radio One would host the Show.
Not impressed with "Sir E" and think this song deserves more than it had. Carl Douglas was never a "one hit wonder" as I've already got more of his "failures" on Pye Record Labels.....and performances on TOTP.
