I remember when this song came out👍. The stores couldn't keep this 45 on the shelf! You were lucky to have this record. I would walk into the store (Gibson's) and they knew what I came to ask for. I had asked so often for it the sales lady brought me her son's from his collection. She said he quit listening to it and told me to enjoy it🤗. I will never forget her kind gesture ♥️. A month later her son was in the store and she told him I was the one she gave the record to. He was several years older than me. He smiled at me and said come over to his house and pick out some others I would like to have. Back then if you worked at a store you were able to get first shot at anything that came into the door. He would tell his mom what he wanted and she would secure it for him to buy.

My shipmates and I met these beautiful Japanese girls on New Year's Eve 1992 in Yokosuka, Japan, and we all drove to a Karaoke bar where I sang this damn song right after midnight!!! The place went nuts! 😂 That was one of the best night's of my life in the Navy! Arigato, Japan! 🇯🇵😁
Always came off the dance floor with a few bruises....people got a bit carried away - including me. Great song, great days - wish l could go back!
FANTASTIC!!!! What a freakin' great version! I'm 51 and grew up with this music and all of the music that you have done so far. Your channel is the coolest!!! you have an EXTRAORDINARY talent, DON"T EVER STOP!!!!!
Rick Dykes
Love this extended version!!!! Love the line "and everybody knew their part"!!
Awesome song i was 9 years old when this came out loved the 1970's
Hey handsome how are you doing today
Old School Music is Great Ancient Secret lol Jammin 2022 we need to bring this back kick dat ass
Yes im 60 and I still listen to it
I was young back in the 1970s remember this song very well and yes it always reminds me of the late martial artist The Great Bruce Lee
Clearly inspired by all the Bruce Lee movies, "The Big Boss," "Chinese Connection," and "The Return of the Dragon," especially, all the action scenes from these movies flow perfectly in harmony with this classic masterpiece! As a fellow devoted martial artist I can easily dig this and get funky and dirty while dancing, kicking, punching, and free styling like a maniac!
" Enter The Dragon", by the late Bruce Lee always comes to mind.Great song!Thank you.
Saw it at the Drive In!!
IT DOESEN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS!!!! OH YEAH!!!!
good movie
How about Jackie Chan? He's pretty good at it too.
DiscoCat, your remixes are seamless and masterful! Your work is noted and appreciated by everyone who happens to come upon it!
Thank you

Bruce Lee.……..because of him, we have the greatest martial arts films ever made...….and one of the best Disco songs ever made;Thank you Bruce...……….Just for being you.
@@marileewoods7136 Marilee...I don`t know when you were born, but I can tell you that when I grew up (in the 1970`s ) The slightest glimpse of Bruce Lee on T.V. ,created almost indescribable excitement. When you read about superheroes, Such as Batman,Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk,Superman,……..All of them were great:but to us boys growing up in the 1970`s, we all seemed to sense that Bruce Lee represented something both Fantastical and Humanly real at the same time.Marilee, all I`m trying to say is,that, basically...….If you were 12-15 years old in 1973...…..Nothing,and I mean NOTHING !..even came close to comparing to..Bruce Lee.
One hit wonders! Back in the day...Didn't know they'd be there for generations to comment on! Hope you all enjoy and lol!

RAFAEL SOCORRO: Jeet Kun Do....NOT Kung Fu.... I studied under him in San Francisco....
@@DevilDogDen1775 You are a very Lucky person...Jeet Kun Do for sure ...but what he was trying to say is that it was Bruce Lee that influenced Martial Arts into the American Culture....." If a man lives to be a thousand years old and on the last day of his life he defeats his demons....His life was a success* my favorite line from Bruce Lee....my life is now a Victory! Eric Underwood class of 81 Downey High School California....you are so lucky! Ya know when I was young my big brother used to kick my ass all the time ..when I say big I mean big....in eleventh grade he was 6-4. 257.... Anyway I used to body surf too...and the way I would escape my Brother just like a pounding wave .... become water....and flow....I could get my big brother on his back used to piss him off and I'd take off running; LOL
It was june of 1974, I was 6 years old and they played this song at our getting ready for the summer time school party first grade. I'm now 54 and this bring back wonderful memories of all of all my classmates.
I was only 11 years old hustling on the street for food and money. I was a little kid trying to survive and this song was playing everywhere. I survived because of this song.
I’m single never married
Reminds me of my days working at the skating rink when I was about 13, one of my first jobs...this one played a lot.

Tema musical alusivo a la época de oro del género del cine artes marciales, Kung fu, siendo su máximo referente por esos años, Bruce Lee. Gran tema.
